Friend request “access denied”

My friend just signed up and I sent her a friend request but she says when she tries to accept it it tells her access denied. Why would it do that?

I think it takes one day after you sign up till you can access some features, when I was new to mdl I couldn’t customise my profile for 24 hrs after signing up but I could access it after that. I don’t think I tried to add someone as a friend in those 24 hrs but you could try waiting for a day and then try again

Our server was down for a bit. It should be working now.
