Is it me or is this serie connected to another. (Small spoilers)

I was just watching episode 3 and for some reason it looked to me that they were referring to the Stranger series.

At one point they are talking about one mister Seo from the prosecutors office investigating someone important. Just after that they are talking about taking down the leader of the devision that Mr. SEO works on called me. Park

Sounds almost like to much coincidence but I could be totally wrong of course.
