Min Tae Yeon isn’t your typical vampire or prosecutor. Rather than drinking blood from innocent strangers, he opts for blood sold on the black market in the posh bars of Seoul. He also has the uncanny ability to tell where the victim of his cases died, and how they died based on their blood’s smell and taste. The only person who knows his secret ability is Detective Hwang Soon Bum, and both end up working together in a new joint department between police and prosecutors solving murder cases. Joining them are rookie prosecutor Yoo Jung In and intern Choi Dong Man. Together, they solve murder cases, and each time Tae Yeon uses his “powers” to find leads on cases that seem unsolvable. But the one thing he can’t solve is: who was the vampire/serial killer that turned him seven years ago? And what happens when Jung In becomes suspicious of Tae Yeon’s “questionable” tactics in solving cases.

    Story: I admit I enjoyed this season more than the 1st one (which is also very very good) because rather than concentrating on pure crime scenes and using Prosecutor Min's ability to solve crimes, this one mixes crime solving with additional arc on history of vampires, (which of course is related to the first season, so you should definitely watch), humorous teasers on the should-be-romance, funny, cute bromance between Dong Man and Soon Bum which I love and some heartful and touching moments with the dramas' side characters. The crime cases were good as expected; and this drama caught my attention from the very first episode, it's getting better by the next. I have no words for the ending, I just need a quick answer if read more

    This drama is just great :D

    I particularly don't like mystery/crime solving dramas, but this one just hooks you in.
    The story overall is a little confusing, you really have to pay attention the the main story. Meaning that if you really want to watch this drama I recommend you to watch the first season.
    The acting is great, each character makes you fall in love with them. I love the action and comedy in the drama.
    Now for those that watched the first season we do get a little more romance in this season ;)

    AND DID I MENTION THAT THERE IS SEXY VAMPIRES HEHEHE :)

    oh i was confused to the last episode? does min tae yeon died? as it was the ending has confusion, questions.. i think they will make another vampire prosecutor season 3.

      Not really, because it isn't the central theme. But you can make out some subtle references.
      Don't let that stop you from watching it though. It's as amazing as the first one. ^.^ <3

    Omg, OMG! I finished Vampire Prosecutor today and I just realized that there's a second one!GAAAH! I can't control my happiness! Woohoo!

      Absolutely both.
      And you'd very likely be confused if you didn't watch the first one, at least on some of the main plot.

    I have my suspicions about bad blood.
    I thing it's that politician (minister) from the beginning of the first episode.
    Evil doctor is also a candidate for bad blood since he was politician's first victim and thus became a vampire.
    Are there more suspects?

    I liked both seasons but I enjoyed the second season better (^_^)
    However, I still think it's unfair to use super powers in order to solve cases :p

    Oh and I'm so curious about what happened to Jung In! Did she die...? Or did she become a vampire? O.O Because so far everyone who got bit ended up dead...but they said you can only become a vampire if you're the first person the vamp bites right? The sexy bad boy vamp (I forgot his name LOL) already shared blood with the doctor even though he didn't technically bite him...we never witnessed what happens to a person who was bit but survived O.O at least I don't recall...UGH I NEED TO KNOW.

      To answer Your questions: Jung In became a vampire. Do you remember when Prosecutor Min bit hs friend doctor Ra Jae Wook but he survived without even becoming a vampire? Then The bad boy vampire (the sexy vampire as you call him) has already bitted Park Hoon (the one that turned Prosecutor Min into a vampire) and made him a vampire.
      The options to become a vampire in this drama: Be the first victim of a vampire or a vampire shares his blood with you, in the doctor's case he became a vampire because that bad boy vampire shared his blood with him as for Jung In, either Prosecutor Min shared his blood with her or literally bitted her since his first victim wasn't Ra Jae Wook (he didn't turn into a vampire after being bitted by Min). Either ways; she became a vampire.

      I don't think she became a vampire. She was bitten (but not by a 'virgin', lol, vampire and they haven't shared blood with her so they didn't make her into vampire. Also I don't think she lost enough blood to die, she was found fairly quickly by Soon Bum and Dong Man.
      Though they haven't shown her in the epilogue and I'm thinking that they may have some aces up their sleeves.
      I'm more curious whether she knows that Tae Yeon is a vampire. But she probably fainted before she saw that. But it would be great if she starts to have suspicions about it in the next season (if they make it).

      agree with you lexies i have my thoughts that maybe in the future she will become a vampire but i saw the ending just the way you described it - i truly love this series and can`t wait for the next season ^^

      I also don't think that she will become a vampire because the doctor didn't become a vampire even after he got bit by Min. However, I am sure she will become suspicious and maybe become a vampire eventually.
      However, the rela mystery is: who's bad blood and what happened to his sister?

    I just finished both seasons in 3 days. I think this is my favorite drama of all time. I usually watch Romance drama's but you just get so into it you can't stop *-* and of course the feels between Min Tae Yeon and Jung In were there hehe BUT YES I NEED SEASON 3.
