An unlikely protagonist slinks around in “The Cat,” which follows So-yeon (Park Min-yeong), a pet groomer who suffers from claustrophobia stemming from a childhood experience. One day, one of So-yeon’s customers dies on the elevator, leaving her cat Bi-dan behind. The mystery of who killed the woman on the elevator is unknown, and the cat is the only witness. As the police begins their investigation, they ask So-yeon to take care of Bi-dan. But something strange happens to So-yeon from the day she brings Bi-dan home. The film was invited to participate in the 64th Cannes Film Festival Film Market, where its distribution rights were sold to three companies in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.   Gosh, where should I start? I really didn't expect myself to like this horror movie. It wasn't so scary, but the story really moved me. I cried buckets at the ending! :'(
  
  Story: Wonderful. The story was not the best, but very wonderful. It's a bit scary at times, but the overall story really moves you.
  
  Acting/Cast : Love Park Min Young's acting in here. I could see her expressing every of her line very well. The acting was quite good overall.
  
  Overall, it is a good movie to watch. If you're into one of those VERY scary horror films, this one isn't for you. But if you're not into super scary movies, and you want a horror movie with a good story line, I recommend this! ^^ read more

  both are horror movies with great plot and development in wich the curse is solved and the "ghost" gets revenge so the ending is simmilar..also I can say that they give you the same feeling probabily because both main characters start feeling haunted and try to find out about the "ghost"'s past... If you enjoy horror movies you'll sure like both The cat and Phone ^^
