1. Witch's Love
Korean Drama - 2018, 12 episodes
This show makes an attempt to explore the concept of witches challenging fate, but really it just ends up asking: What if your magic (and your existence) was entirely dependent on whether or not a man loved you?
Kitchen magic, potions, and magical items.
I love seeing a witch operate outside the societal norms. The plot and magic system need work. -
2. The Witch's Diner
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

3. The Witch Store
Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
A high school student becomes some kind of indentured servant to a witch, who then decides to go to school and create a love triangle for fun.
There isn't too much magic outside of illusions and magical items, but every episode features a deck of cards in the credits and I love their pastel aesthetic. They seem to be first used officially to answer a question in episode 5, but I wanted so much more. They're so cute!

4. The Witch Store Reopens
Korean Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
Second verse same as the first. Another witch goes to school and assembles a crack team of high schoolers Avengers-style to save her store. Except this one's actually paying the child she blackmailed into a contract.
There is slightly more magic in this season - curses, magical items, illusions, and telekinesis.
The clever meta humor sold me on this one, but the antique aesthetic of the shop stole my heart from the first glimpse. -
5. The Witch's Eye
Korean Drama - 2022, 5 episodes
Would have loved to see more of the tarot, but it has some neat vibes for a glorified Davich Optical advertisement.

6. The Last White Witch
Japanese Movie - 2019
-
7. Romantic Witch's Starlight Sonata
Korean Drama - 2019, 2 episodes
Love the coffee shop witch vibes. Not a fan of the "love spell" trope.

8. Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
Japanese Drama - 2013, 8 episodes
A mainly corny story about the magic 7 witches cultivate in response to their daily struggles, featuring an attempt at exploring themes of assault and non-con that is sadly made weaker by a concerning (though unfortunately expected) amount of male on male assault played for comedy.
Many flavors of kissing magic, a Supernatural Studies Club, and much queerness. If there hadn't been non-con in basically every episode, this would almost exactly hit the spot.

23. Bio Homme
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Four people come together to ease their souls through horticulture therapy and learn about plants along the way.
This one isn't about witches or magic, but sometimes it seems to want us to believe that horticulture therapy is a magic cure-all! Some issues with the plot stand out. Still, it's fun and relaxing; and it's a good vibe for those who do healing work with plants.
