Sakisaka Tatsuoki

Born in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan, he attended Waseda Jitsugyo High School before enrolling in the Department of Economics at Waseda University. He was active in the university's announcer research club.
After graduating from university in 1982, he joined Fuji Television as an announcer. In his early career, he covered sports events such as sumo wrestling, professional baseball, and horse racing.
In October 1999, he was transferred to the New York bureau as the successor to his senior. While assignments there typically last three to four years, he returned home after six months due to health issues and was replaced by his junior. Upon his return, he announced the start and end of broadcasts alongside his announcer duties. He later served as the head of the announcer development department and eventually became a general announcer.
Upon reaching the company's retirement age of 60 in 2020, he retired on March 31 of the same year. However, he continues to appear on programs and sports broadcasts produced by the network. Additionally, after retirement, he joined Tokyo Film Mate, a subsidiary of Fuji Television.
