She graduated from Takarazuka Music School in 1980, scoring the highest points in her graduation exam. She joined the Takarazuka Revue as a 66th gen member.
In 1989, she won the 39th Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Newcomer Award in the mass category for her performances in the musicals "Sessue Hayakawa" and "Midsummer Night's Dream".
In 1992, she won the 27th Kinokuniya Theater Award Individual Award for her performances in Yume no Yuyusha "Under the Full Bloom of Sakura no Mori" and "Yaya".
In 2002, she won the 57th Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Excellence Award (Drama category) for her performance in "Yaya".
In 2010, she also directed "Lady Julie".
Her father is Yashiro Seiichi, a drama writer, and her mother is actress Yamamoto Kazuko. Edit Biography
