Ahn Tae Jin is a South Korean screenwriter, film director and producer. He entered showbiz as a directing staff member for the 2004 comedy movie "Hi! Dharma! 2: Showdown in Seoul", and later served as an assistant director for the 2005 movie "The King and The Clown". He has also worked as a cinematographer.

17 years later at the age of 51, Ahn debuted as a film director with the 2022 movie "The Night Owl". In 2023, he won the Best New Director Award at the 21st Director's Cut Awards and the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
