Ari Nakdontree is a national artist in the performing arts field. She's a radio-television announcer, host, actress, singer, voice actor, producer and director. She started her career in 1955, on the day of the opening broadcast of the Thai TV station Channel 4. She went on to star in several Channel 4 dramas, such as Khun Seuk, Look Tard, Mia Luang, Nam Sor Sai, Bandai Mek, Prom Payod, and others.

In 1976, when Channel 4 turned into Channel 9, Ari started her own drama production company. She produced and directed the 1976 version of Sawan Biang, which was a hit. Ari kept producing dramas for Channel 9 until 1985, with Kamin Gub Poon being her last production.

Ari won the best female announcer award in Asia and the Golden Television Award "TV People's Honor Award" of Thailand for the year 2004.
