TO THE POINT!!
This drama is so To The Point. This is what dramas should be like. where can i find more dramas like this? T-T also., why does this not have any reviews?? (guess im the lucky one to be writing the first, lol) So going back to the drama, The drama ooof, ...Its so good that I cant find out any single flaws here. well, maybe there ArE but idk they were unnoticable to me. Soooo, You should watch this drama cuz it has:No complicated storyline
No love triangles
No jealous SFL/SML
No sad ending
No useless quarrels between ML FL & misunderstandings
No complicated court shit
A SuPeR hawt, badass, attractive & sometimes cute looking ML (he made me a simp bro)

Excellent visuals, settings, costumes, makeup & camera quality
& Finally, No reason for you to not watch :DD
By any chance if you stumbled upon this drama, DONT SKIP. Its actually VERY GOOD for a short drama. It takes like 2hr or so to finish this & i would totally love to rewatch this anytime soon. The rewatch value is 8/10 for me. The story is repetitive & not that unheard of so. i would give it a 7. As for the acting/casting, im not the one to judge but for me its a 10. & the music too, i really liked it. Its so sweet and calming to my ears..
moving further, I want the ML to be recognized more man, He has so much potential to be bigger & do greater projects. Imo, He fits the baddie roles sooo gooood. Even though, hes not potrayed as Thaaaaat baddie here in this drama..He gives off such baddie vibes maan,,I would love to see him as a badass character in upcoming future. & coming to fl now.. The fl did a good job with her role. She should get more opportunities to roam in different genres and characters in future. Also not neglecting the side characters & other guest roles, they also performed their roles to their fullest aswell.
Sooo, in short, The drama is very nice. The characters execute their roles perfectly & the storyline and eps are very simple to follow. Its good to watch when you are free and have nothing else to do. Basically, VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED FOR YALL to watch when you feel like you have nothing to watch. If not for anything, just watch for ML bro lmao.

ABSOLUTE *CHEFS KISS* DRAMA!!!
yeah, you got it. This drama is a gem which is qualified to be called a *chefs kiss* drama atleast for me :3. It is one of those few dramas which has a special place in my heart. ITS A LITERAL PERFECTION. This drama is absolutely NOT one of those typical full of sufferings, infinite cycle of being together and seperating, reincarnating 100 times and full of useless side couples, shit CGI and useless villains kind of xianxia. It contains the elements of xianxia but the way it is done,placed and potrayed so uniqly is what surprises me. I used to drop alot of xianxias after watching like 10-15(sometimes even 35 EPS because of the totally UN-NEEDED draggyass plots and stupid asf fl) most of times, but this drama got me hooked RIGHT FROM EP 1 TBH (we'r talking about p2 so like HEHEH( i dont mean P1 is bad though (''Dont be Stubborn" (¬‿¬) go watch it )back to the review.. This drama is a sequel to Immortal Samsara Part 1. Its ABSOLUTELY safe to say that this drama is THE BEST of 2022 in (angst :P)its genre.
The PLOT of the drama is very simple( ps very very little spoiler if you havent watched p1). Three teens(?lmfao)(2 spirit and one human to be specific) set on an adventure on finding out the 4th artifact for TangZhou(the mc) to take back his form as Lord Ying Yuan(god) and complete his mission of finding out the truth about the ''Celestial-Demon war''. Meanwhile, YanDan has regained her memories of Lord YY and herself in Heavenly Realm and starts becoming distant with TZ (although she still LOVES HIM T--T). However, TZ has no recollection of his past memories and has no interest in knowing so because it will only bring him pain ( he thinks YD loves ANOTHER PERSON when its HIM who she lovesಥ_ಥ). even so, TZ unknowing of the fact that Lord YY and him are the same person, keeps on following YanDan wherever she goes, silently protecting her whenever she is in danger (poor boy :( ) He even cosplays as Lord YY but..every effort was..all in vain.
Seeing TZ cry under the rain, (i wanted to hug him Every hardship, pain, struggles, sacrifices they made for eachother was worth it . YY upon returning and claiming his position of Soverign Lord, starts pursuing YD just like the way she pursued him b4 (man got rejected once but ITS ALL OKAY WE CAN GIVE IT ONE MORE TRY he thought aand BOOM THEY ARE BACK TOGEHTER (after some time but STILL THEYRE TOGETHER NOW SO IT DOESNT MATTER) asides from this, The Heavenly Emperor, has been acting strangely since Lord YYs arival in the heavenly realm and LuMing (YDs closest friend) has gone missing. LuMing, happened to drop few clues so They follow LuMing's given clues to discover the cause of these mysterious happenings. What happened to LuMing and What has caused the heavenly emperor to be this sus?. Lord YYs hidden identity as the Asura Clan's only descendant has been revealed to the whole heavenly clan. NOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN? WILL THE LOVEY DOVEY COUPLE GET THEIR DESERVED HAPPY ENDING? To find that out YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS. YOU MUST SEE THIS CUZ ISSA MUST WATCH DRAMA!!srsly how can you ignore the best xianxia of 2022
THE ACTING/CAST, OSTS/SONGS/MUSIC, CGI, SET DESIGNS, CHEMISTRY OF ML/FL, VFX, MAKEUP, COSTUME, DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THAT? EVERYTHING IS TOP NOTCH HERE.
IN CONCLUSION: This drama is S tier drama ( S+ infact). It got me thinking HOW.COULD.SUCH.PURRFECT.DRAMA.EVEN.EXIST?
PROPS TO THE WHOLE CREW (CASTS) OF IMMORTAL SAMSARA. THE HONORS THEY'RE GETTING IS SO WELL DESERVED. THIS DRAMA IS A NEW GEM IN XIANXIA GENRE . I believe everyone who likes mystrey, god-demon story settings, awesome chemistry between leads, awesome SFL/SML, GREAT CGI, GREATT VILLIANS, adventures, DrEaMy lOvE(seriously), cute asf ml fl, fantasy, magics, xianxia & ANGST above all will LOVE this drama. So ''Don't be stubborn" (￢з￢)go watch it (friendly reminder to carry a bucket of tissues b4 watching the ep 59 doe :D also remember to watch ep 60 and 61 for happy surprise ღ˘◡˘ற♡)
On a serious note, This drama left a deep impression on me. I may have been a lil biased here but its no lie that I learnt so much from this drama. The tears i cried, the happiness, pain, joy and a rollercoaster of emotions this drama brought in my life, the sleep deprivation this drama caused me, i will never forget that. It was worth sacrificing my sleep for this one though cuz its simply AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, MAGNIFICIENT, HEAVENLY, EXTRAORDINARY, MAJESTIC and ofcourse i'll say it again

SOKP: Where Royal Intrigues Are More Complicated Than Your Ex's New Relationship Status
HOLD ON TO YOUR IMPERIAL HATS, DRAMA ENTHUSIASTS!!!Because "Story of Kunning Palace" is the kind of show that's more addictive than a caffeine IV drip. SOKP is not your typical tea-sipping, romance-infused drama—it's a captivating enigma wrapped in a historical conundrum, with more plot twists than a labyrinth. Imagine a tale where reverse harem meets mystery, and every character is so swoon-worthy, even the palace walls are blushing.
Bai Lu, our badass heroine, here as Jiang Xue Ning isn't just conquering hearts; she's slaying political foes and looking fabulous doing it. But hold on—enter Zhang Zhe and Yan Lin, both vying for her attention like contestants in a royal reality show. It's a reverse harem showdown, and Jiang Xue Ning is the unwitting queen bee, swatting away admirers like they're pesky palace mosquitoes. Jiang Xue Ning's heart is like a Rubik's Cube, and the poor guys—Yan Lin, Zhang Zhe, and Xie Wei—are all trying to crack the code. Basically It's a love triangle turned hexagon.
Now, our man Zhang Ling He as Xie Wei—handsome as a Greek god and jaw sharper than a ninja throwing star (HAD TO MENTION THAT LMFAO)—isn't just part of the harem circus. He's the unsung hero, & a guardian angel silently dropping nuggets of wisdom and occasionally facepalming at the chaos around him. He is the guy secretly supporting Jiang Xue Ning like a love-struck ninja in the shadows. Beneath his sarcastic remarks & harsh words, lies a love so deep it makes Titanic's Jack and Rose look like they had a casual fling. It felt as if watching a superhero show where the hero doesn't realize he's the hero, and the audience is collectively screaming, "Dude, she's right there!"
The Xie Wei Men's Trio, they are real comedy gem in this drama. The hilarious sidekicks, the MVPs of comedic relief, and the reason you'll be snorting your tea while trying to keep up with palace politics.
But let's talk plot! Jiang Xue Ning, after a bad ending in her past life, is back in the same palace, courtesy of fate's twisted sense of humor, i guess. Its as if someone hit the "replay" button (quite literally) on her royal misadventures, and she's trying to navigate the maze of intrigue with the grace of a cat on roller skates.

PERFECT EXAMPLE OF ''A BOOK SHOULDNT BE JUDGED BY ITS COVER''
WHAT DID I JUST WATCH!?!?!?The drama should be renamed to ''Only for shit'' at this rate.I have got to ep 36 bareeely and completed bearing all this shit just for the sake of COMPLETING it cuz i had already come as far as to ep 29. & now i am here to vent my frustrations. The mffing phone is one of the main problems of this drama. Might as well keep it as a main lead cast. The disturbance is acceptable for one times ,two times,.. but when the phone KEEPS ON disturbing when the ml fl are having there ''moment'' It gets ffing annoying. It was annoying to the point i felt like throwing away my own phone down the road. The disturbance from third party was VERY frustrating.
like WHAT.THE.HELL.IS.GOING.ON!?!?! I kept watching and continuing hoping it would get better but it KEEEPS going downhill MORE & More & MoOoOre. I cant even defend for Bai Lu or Dylan here. The script was shit and thats a fact. All the people defending this drama, must stop. This drama doesn't deserve the defence at all. I understand if you admit you are biased but else, like nah bro, you are OBVIOUSLY lying if you rate this above 7.0.
about the acting, there was a lot of potential but with characters like ZSH and SY. Its always been like this in these CEO themed dramas. The cast is no doubt lit but the script makes everything else look shit & im not even kidding. This drama is a definition of ''worst scriptwriting''.
Plus the fact that this drama being almost 40 eps is like wtf to me!?!?! for what reason is this drama THAAT long??? for showing the most unnecessary sUspEnCe reveal?? for showing the most dragged out misunderstandings?? for showing the most abnormal side couples ever in a ffing drama? for showing the most uninteresting bussiness talks of all time which don't even connect to the story & have no connection to the development of plot??? what plot bro?? this drama seemed as if it was made by a psychotic person. The scriptwriter should be honored with the ''worst script writer of the year'' award for sure.
The side couples are so ffing messed up like dont even get me started on that. The player couple - Mr Guan Ji & Miss Bi Ruo Shan started off interesting but then their unstarted-relationship got dragged and dragged and dragged like the Shi Yan and Shu Yi's misunderstanding.
Also, Why did they make the ''uncle neice'' reveal such a BIG SuSpEnCe in this drama??Why? That was totally unnecessary imo. What was BRS's intention being so hot & cold with GJ when she ffing loved him. just WHY!?!WHATS YALLS PROBLEM!!! I felt on one go that they had SIZZLING chemistry but why did the scriptwriter did them so bad???
like AHhhhhh T-T I often felt like slapping BRS . like gworl??? focus on YOUR relationship and not your friends when you cant even put together with your own shit. You don't deserve to advise her. & also how dumb of our FL to ask HER for advises. She should have been the last person you should have asked for a relationship advice sis. Theres not even one normal couple here. I only found Guan Xiang & Tang Yi decent. For others, one word- shit.
The rating the drama currently is on i.e 7.8/10 is also high for this imo. People yall are way to generous. & Its prolly cuz of the cast, i understand but.. if you look at the big picture, this drama should be lower than that. Like what did i even sign up for & what did i get?? a full on piece of shit. The wait was for naught. Only thing that managed to kinda save it is the cast. If not for them, who would have bothered to watch this garbage??? 100% not recommended. If you rllyyyy wanna watch, then just watch the fmv guys...pls dont bother and get invested as it will only result to overwhelming frustrations. The only lil bit of satisfaction i got was from the pathetic romance from the latter part of the drama..from ep 30 onwards. Otherwise, The whole thing.. I wished i never watched this in the first place. Dont judge this drama by its looks, ladies and gents, for you will only end up with disappointment & more disappointment.
