I love Historical Asian Drama's of all kinds,; anything with martial arts. I think they are the best dramas in the world! I especially like Martial Arts and Swordsmanship in the shows/movies that I watch. To date, my absolute favorite movie series is Rurouni Kenshin  (Japan) and my favorite TV series are Love Like the Galaxy , The Long Ballad, General and I, and The Starry Love. I tend to gravitate towards a lot of Chinese Historical & Fantasy Dramas primarily due to the sheer number of shows China produces. But, I'll watch anything with some form of martial arts from nearly any country.  

I lived in Japan for about 5 1/2 years and have been to other countries in that global radius area so the multi-Asian cultural exposure that I had was a huge influence on my interests. I really connected with the Japanese culture while living in the greater Tokyo area. However, Japan tends  to focus on Anime and modern content more than they do Historical Dramas. I'd like to see more Historical Fantasy content from Japan, if they'd produce it.
