Disappointing fanservice
At the beginning I liked sokp much better and thought it was gonna be one of the best drama this year, but it turned out as a mediocre fanservice/wattapad for teens with dark fantasies. The breakup with ZZ felt forced and unnatural how can such a thing not be resolved by communication, it was not believable at all and I wish they stuck with the way the novel made them break up instead but they wanted to rush things probably pressured by fans that wanted the Xie arc, unfortunately that led to my discontent with Xie and what made matters worse is how bad his arc is turning to be forced kiss, forceful grabbing of hands and neck(wtf) forced kiss, overbearing and disrespectful that doesn't really respect jxn and treats her as a young girl that is his student another major eye roll as I am not into teacher/student type of romance its Hella creepy and disgusting.. I wish we can grow out of this weird fase where it's okay for a romance like this to happen in the first place. Unfortunately because of the reason mention the latest episodes began to drag a lot and what was a solid 9 drama became a 7 then a 4.. That's how it's done!
A great drama from beginning to end. Infact it's so great that despite being made in 1996, it's feels so modern and relevant. A heartwarming romcom that actually shows us the leads lives and wide range of emotions and struggles and how a forced Co habitation turn to two people come to depend on each other then naturally fall in love. The first time they kissed, I was like finally yes! They built the momentum for the romance in the most realistic way, at some point I forgot I was watching a drama. Her a model at the end of her career struggling to see where she can find her place in society after being dumped by her fiancee on her wedding day, him a pianist that struggled to convey raw emotions while playing. I don't want to talk about the chemistry, i want everyone to watch a text book on how to have a good chemistry in this drama. As the title that's just how you do it. Anyone intimidated by how old this drama is, just give it a go!Ps The opening song will forever live in head!

Nonesense
I call this a drama of nothing!! Nothing happens really except a creepy romance between a much older man and a college student. He is apparently a surgents who has time to be a voice actors as well! They love each other voice and then they meet eat, listen to voices and music, 24/7 going out in their happy world where nothing goes wrong.. It felt like an Mv of a dad taking his daughter out to try diffrent food everyday. Fl is the shy naive, never been in a relationship kind of girl so ml was patient with her so very slow burn. Honestly I don't find this endearing why are you after an unexperienced young girl in the first place. Feels like grooming!! Disappointing
Started great but then got boring and repetitive. Our ml is the only hearing member of his family, the rest are deaf as such he feels responsible for them and can't do what he really wants to do aka music, he time travels and meets his parents in the past in hopes to change the future. Now the beginning with his family was great and him trying to convince his father that he is his son and all the comedy that came after that.. At some point eun yu gets introduced and the plot begins to drag as the main focus was his parents.. It's became his parents and that girl that traveled back to change her mom husband so she can not be born. An emo girl that is so annoying and I genuinely don't know how their romance started. Mom and dad romance started late and then dragged. No re-watch value. It could have been much better but ahimeWas this review helpful to you?
A must watch! Don't be intimidated
FL is a badass undercover agent.. She is a widow at day and a hero at night! She has been a widow for 15 yrs until she meets a certain stunning officer and she bickers with him until they both catch feelings for each other in the most swoon worthy way! Aside from the romance the comedy is really a highlight for me.. The way she has to fake being the perfect widow is just hilarious. Honey Lee was really made for this role and gave the drama a lightheartedness even when some sad or challenging things happened it was quickly resolved and not dwelled upon for too long thus not provoking any negative feelings.. Her brother went missing and she has been searching for him and there is a mystery of what happened to him and some minor political intrigue but with all that it was a feel good drama all the way which I liked a lot. Not a lot of angst which I couldn't stomach at the moment. Another thing that I liked even the side characters were not fillers and added to the story!! The only things that i can complain about I just wish there was at least a kiss and a showing of the couple happy ending tho romance was never the focus it sure was highlight for me. Loved it!
I loved this sooooo much!! I was searching for a good K movie,then I wanted to try this and I think I found a genre that I love bully male student - female teacher. She is sooooo badass and I loved seeing that student get what he deserves.. I know it's unpopular but the absolute sexual tension between them was ??. Tho obviously they are mortal enemies.. I really felt bad so bad for the bullied student! So trigger warning looots of bullying and blood and fights in general. I loved her dual faces, one is a cute airhead teacher and the other is badass boxer cat. This is a 10 for me.. It just hit every good spotWas this review helpful to you?
Hidden gem
This is one of my absolute favorite cdramas ever. That's why never trust ratings. A fl that doesn't need anyone's help a believable heroine not stick thin fl that looks she could breaks in two if she is touched by a finger and needs saving from the ml all the time. What a refreshing drama, to this day I can't find a similar drama and I am so sick of the baby like very feminine, very slim female characters in cdramas that are so overpowered by the mls like what's the fun in that!! I loved the ml supportive side and now their love story was a slow burn for him. We need more female badass generals. I love mulan and this is as close to mulan as it gets..
