I've been watching Asian dramas for almost 15 years, which isn't that long considering, and I'd already had a foundation of watching J-anime and reading manga/manhua since my pre-teens. I had already been a fan of Asian movies.

 I honestly can't remember what my first movie was but I do remember watching (in no particular order) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(2001); Memories of the Sword (2015); House of Flying Daggers (2004); Ip Man (multiple); Ong Bak (multiple) to name a few... and I was an avid fan of Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi, Kevin Cheng, Donnie Yen. and Tony Jaa. They were my first steps and I still remain an avid fan of each one. After I started watching dramas, my list of loves has grown exponentially. I could add quite a few but the ones that suck me in repetitively would be Yang Yang, Dilraba Dilmurat, Vin Zhang, Yang Mi, Lup Yun Xi, Zhao Lu Si, Esther Yu/Yu Shu Xin... I could keep listing but things the list is already getting long! If you've glanced at my watched list, then I'm sure you've seen which actors have been seen over and over.

One of the first dramas I'd ever watched was a K-drama. I think it was  Queen Seon Duk (2009) but even if it wasn't the first, it was one of the initial ones that started my fascination. Since then, I've watched many others. I lean more toward C-Dramas; although, K-Dramas are a close second.

I tend to juggle more than one drama at a time especially if I have to wait upon subtitling; although, admittedly, I will wait to watch something until I know all the episodes have been both dropped and translated. I do have a habit if I particularly love a drama to binge straight through even if it means skipping sleep or otherwise. I typically utilize Viki, iQIYI, and Netflix as my main sources to watch; although, I occasionally will utilize dramacool or Amazon if the drama or movie I'm seeking is aired there instead.
