Overall cute love story which got sorting boring at the end :(

WARNING! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK LOL ! SPOILER ALERT

I was super intrigued by the preview of this drama and had high expectations for this drama. This drama for the first half was good but then afterwards became less interesting to me. ( get in some details later)

The basic of the story is that the male lead is a ceo of a jewelry company. One car accident leaves him with some memory/brain damage. He some how thinks he is a prince/king from the ancient times. So his uncle sets up a palace that looks like the old days, hoping a psychologist that they hire can heal him. This psychologist is none other than our female lead, whose name is Luo Kai Huai. She is a psychologist, but has run into money issue, so she takes on this case. She acts as the maid and serves the king, trying to get closer to him. Eventually their relationship blossoms. She is trying t slowly introduce himself to the new and modern world, first to the ideal of a cell phone. Slowly they take him to the outside world. Luo Kuai huai dreams dreams about her pass life and a prince. In that dream she is a doctor who heals the prince , who knowing that he is the prince. She gets more vivid dreams when she gets closer to the male lead , while interacting with him in the modern day built palace.

So technically there are two similar stories going on 1) modern ancient day 2) dream ancient day

The first part of the story was done so beautifully! it kinda reminded me of someday or one day/ inception.... Then they have to ruin it by saying that he was just acting this whole time! he didnt lose his mind.

The female lead fell in love with him and as a psychologist you cannot do that! you cant fall in love with the patient. She was going to use all her time and love to cure him, but he used it to trick her. Obviously you knew that there would be some heartbreak!

The story's interest quickly dropped from that point after... Plus the female lead had a trauma experience which haunted her and finally found out/solved in the end ,but that wasnt really fascinating enough. And it became obvious that of course the male lead would try to pursue the female lead again ..

All my emotion and feelings was for when they were still in the palace. It was just so sweet and cute and filled with love. The lead's kiss was more passionate during those moments. My heart strings were pulled and tingled, but that feeling went away after going back to reality.... When they came back to real life, their kissing scenes just lacked something..

To be honest the second pairing had better overall chemistry! I think its because the second lead ( which is the secretary of the male lead) had a smoother relationship. They initially were the bickering couple who finally got together, not too much was between them. I sometimes found the secretary, when he is dressed in modern clothing to be hotter than the male lead lol! he is too good looking, some of the spotlight definitely went to him. But its funny how in the palace times I didnt not find him attractive >_< Not to mention second lead kissing were really spot on.
With the lead pairing, i felt it was more of the male lead who was displaying the passion and that drive to kiss , if that make sense... ( female lead is too gentle ?)

Lastly, I feel so bad for the uncle of the male lead. The uncle is not too old...... He's the definition of second lead syndrome. HE was such. a nice guy, even though his face makes him look evil ! Im so glad he wasn't evil.

The songs in this drama are really good! Overall, could of done better on the transition with the story of realizing the lie to going back into the modern world!
