This was definitely worth the watch. To say that I was shaken by several scenes is an understatement. James aka Boo made this seem less of a series and more of a reality. I was in awe.
The rest of the cast was also more than well put. I have the hugest love for Simon.
The series addressed a whole bunch of issues such as mental health and the consequences of neglecting it, parent-adolescent relationships, failure and persistence etc... A lot can be taught to our communities through such a series. Such high ratings...well deserved.

I Can Speak -hell yes she CAN,
The movie starts off as an easy-going narration of a growth of friendship between two characters. It's fun and entertaining, and you can't but fall for those characters. Na Ok Boon aka Goblin Granny is that character that everyone seems to avoid, and is such a pain in the ass for civil workers in particular. Park Min Jae ,a 33-year old civil worker that was assigned to deal with Granny's complaints. Throughout the movie, the relationship between both leads starts growing into something lovely.
The acting was really good, whether it were the main leads of the supporting cast, it was truly fascinating alongside the amazing cinematography and story flow. You won't leave after watching this movie feeling like it was a waste of anything cause it has its own purpose, its own morale, and also an impact on the audience.
Since this is a spoiler-free review, the only thing I can say is the story is definitely not what it seems to be and it has a much deeper meaning, on the more serious wavelength.
Thus, watch it for it will really bring out several different emotions. I did tear up several times, I mean you can't not!!

If you're looking for a soft, fluffy movie to enjoy, this is it. The OTP is really cute and the way the relationship grows is lovely. Their acting was also good, especially the male lead. As for the female lead, I was a tiny bit disturbed at a certain scene, but other than that, her acting was cute.
I liked the satisfying cooking scenes, they really did entertain me. I also liked that there wasn't an active antagonist in this, it was just about character growth and that was all.
It's a light rom-com worth a watch if you're not looking for something that hardcore or dramatic.

I just finished this and the mixed feelings are killing me.
Usually, high school dramas don't really spike my interest. But after all that rating I did decide to watch this once and for all, and I must say, I'm so damn glad I did!I mean, some things really weren't new, but for reason, they did have an aura for themselves. I don't know how to explain this. It's like you've seen something like this...and you haven't...at the same time. Does that even make sense?
The plot includes a huge chunk of the bullshit society got so used to throwing at teenage kids. Whether it were the expectations and responsibilities and how they take a toll on the students mental and physical health or how some people are just so invested in perfection and power and how they go to the extremes to fulfill them.
I don't usually give a plot this high of a rating unless I was continuously entertained, and that is exactly how I was throughout the whole length of this drama. How satisfying it is to not have the slightest bit of urge to fast forward. The series of events and the cliffhangers were truly put together. The writers and producers really knew what they were doing, and so did GMM when they decided to put out such a fresh yet mysterious and intriguing story for international fans. They know what they're doing, especially when they make things this easy to access.
Some acting skills really showed and to say that I was amazed is an understatement. Someone that I didn't expect such a performance from is none other than Gun Atthaphan who played the role of Pun. You'll understand once you watch it.
If you're waiting for a sign. This is it. Watch this and you definitely won't regret.

I enjoyed this movie. It was really fun especially when it came to the transition between both personalities. I love the fact that the actress mastered both characters in such a satisfying manner and the relationship that was built between both ages. As for the morale, it was conveyed in such a beautiful way. Self love was portrayed at its best and I was so full watching the character grow into a more independent and strong woman.
If you feel like watching something fun and carefree, watch this, you wouldn't regret.

So the series starts off pretty interesting a bit. It has a pretty decent plot, a hot male lead and his cute relationship with Shuang Shuang. The acting was okay, so was the chemistry. However, a lot of major loopholes were present and it did start going downhill. 24 episodes for a such a plot is a lot honestly. At the last 5-7 episodes i was basically skipping through. 12 or a maximum of 15 episodes would have been more than enough.
You can watch it for the fun of it. But I definitely am not re-watching.

Ok. This is my very first review so please bare with me. Where do I start? The series is of 60+ episodes and the fact that I was able to finish it till the end shows that the story line was spectacularly put together. The turn of events, you wouldn't even expect! You'd try and figure out the turn of events only for the writers to wow you yet again.
The acting was so on point, even the scenes that I didn't expect myself to cry at would end up moving me just for the realness of it. I was shocked at Jin Mi's acting skills that's for sure. Her crying literally broke my heart.
++++ This is what we call character development.
Before watching Ashes of Love I wasn't really excited to see this male lead in particular(I don't know why), but after all of THAT I admit that he's a really good actor. He conveyed the character in all its ups and downs and I just can't get over a couple of scenes that he literally perfected.
I loved the cast as a whole, and i fell head over heels for some. I couldn't find any character that wasn't portrayed right.
The music was just right and the CGI was SO SATISFYING. If you're a fan of battles and so you'll enjoy some entertaining realistic fighting scenes.
Final words: Watch. It. You wouldn't regret it.
