Simply beautiful

It's hard to describe the feeling after watching this drama.. I feel like I need more! Lol.

The story was well scripted, and all the pieces including the second couple, were important for the overall development of the story. ? I admit I fast forwarded a few scenes of what I thought weren't essential, but ended up rewatching the scenes I missed ?

For his first drama, Evan Lin's acting was very realistic and the chemistry between him and Wan Peng was good. The soundtrack and songs were beautiful too.

Interesting storyline

Rough start, but improved a lot!

The male lead has no senses, and after an accidental meeting with the female lead, discovered that he could feel and smell while touching her. He practically forced her to stay by his side, and thus the scriptwriter had to build uup the story and at parts, seemed draggy. (funny but not rally funny). The overall story started to improve as the main leads fell for each other and had to overcome many obstacles to stay together.

On the overall was quite a refreshing storyline, had a happy ending albeit an abrupt one. ?

What I liked
- cast and acting were spot on, especially the main leads and villain
- soundtrack and ost were ok
- the "familial" bond among the FL, her master and her fellow disciples
- production quality
- costume designs and attention to detail

What I didn't enjoy
- it was over so soon and abruptly ?
- wasted too many scenes on second male lead and his indecisiveness towards the second female lead

Somewhat suspenseful ?

I don't know how to describe this at all. The drama went back and forth in time, so as to tell the story, so if you weren't paying attention, you would have wound up confused. ?

I'm not sure why the ratings were so bad, but I would ask that you watch this and make up your mind if you liked it or not.

The story itself is about the ML who joins as a new recruit. He was from the army and became a ranger to safe people after he lost one of his team mates in the mountain. The FL is a lone ranger, teamed up with the ML as her partner. She had a love-hate relationship with the mountain.

People were being murdered on the mountain, and it was made to look like an accident.. The mystery of who was the killer wasn't very surprising but from the storyline it took them quite a while to figure the who-done-it? Maybe that's why there was a lot of critism and would be directors..

For me, I enjoyed the scenery and the action!

It's about a (FL) food blogger and a (ML) rich dessert chef who because of her nephew whose parents were going through a divorce, was sent to stay with his god-father(ML) who has a more stable environment. The FL was coerced to stay at his home to look after the kid.

Miracle landing

I came across this movie by chance, after finishing the cdrama New Horizons. Honestly, I've watched this 3 times! The first time, on my tablet, found it very incredible and decided to do a bit of research into Sichuan Airlines flight 8633 into what happened.

The drama follows closely on the incident that took place, but I believe the bits that were dramatised were the storm that the plane encountered on its emergency diversion to Chengdu Airport. There are so many emotions that went through my mind
1. The captain has the heaviest responsibility of his passengers' and crews' safety.
2. Do I miss travelling, going through the hassle of flying? (especially now with the Covid-19 pandemic)
3. Do we take the takeoff safety briefings for granted?
4. There are all sorts of characters that you meet - selfish, greedy, rude, arrogant, egotistical, anxious, depressed, disciplined, happy, excited, kind, etc. And these are just the passengers!
5. What if you're given a second chance to live? What would you change in your outlook on life?
6. Prayers and support help!
7. Do your part in helping the passengers and crew to get the plane back safely even if this means sitting quietly, and don't make trouble for others!
8. Murphy's law: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong" - which is why having procedures and guidelines help to get you out of sticky situations.

I would definitely put this movie as a must watch if you have an interest in aviation, travelling, action, slice of life, suspense and a bit of romance. Give it a try!
