A gem I found unexpectedly

I really didn't think I'd love this drama so much when I first started watching it. I actually watched it just because of Minhyun since I'm a fan of NU'EST. Even then I still wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it since I'm not a big fan of high school dramas so it was such a pleasant surprise for me when I enjoyed the first episode a lot. It seemed dark and mysterious but was not too gloomy either. It had a lot of fun, romantic and cute moments so everything seemed well balanced. It might not be the best but it was still too good, a lot better than I expected.

I think the thing I liked the most about live on is the story and how it talked about school violence and about just life in general. And all the characters were really well written. Baek Horang (Jung Dabin) made me frustrated at times but I was still able to understand her. The way she finally understood what is most important to her and that it's not weak to admit you are a victim was really nice to watch. Go Euntaek (Minhyun) was also a really good character. His growth from being too strict and a perfectionist to a more understanding and softer person was really interesting. I loved how both Horang and Euntaek helped eachother overcome their issues and how they gave eachother space when needed. And their chemistry was too good that I wanted to see even more scenes with those two. Another character I have to mention is Ji Sohyun (Yang Hyeji). She was a very interesting character and I loved how responsible she was and how she stood up for Horang even when she didn't know her situation. Horang and Sohyun's chemistry was also really good. It was so frustrating everytime Horang ran away when Sohyun tried to talk to her about everything that I felt like locking them in a room until they actually talk😅 And Kim Yooshin (Byungchan) was the one who made this drama a lot more brighter and fun. Also I loved how respectful he was and how he understood he have no reason to get mad at Sohyun for not reciprocating his feelings. And he still stayed by her side saying he likes her and doesn't expect anything in return. I think that's something I rarely see, not just in kdramas, but anywhere. And I loved the relationship between Kang Jaeyi (Yeonwoo) and Do Woojae (Noh Jonghyun). They really showed how communication is really important for any relationship. Also I loved how Jaeyi slowly warmed upto Horang throughout the drama.

Another best thing about this drama, for me, is the acting. All the actors did a very good job in portraying their characters. Minhyun, even though it's his first lead role, did a very good job. I'm his fan and I've never once seen him get mad before but it didn't feel awkward at all during the scenes where he was upset or angry. And it was cute how his ears were red most of the time. I was really able to see him as Go Euntaek and not as Hwang Minhyun while watching this drama. And Jung Dabin's acting was too good that I started watching extracurricular as well for her. She did an amazing job as Baek Horang and I could really feel her emotions by just looking at her. And that live broadcast scene was really too good. All the other actors also did a very good job especially Yang Hyeji and Byungchan. I really loved their acting and their chemistry was also good.

The OSTs are another thing I should mention because they are really good! Especially NAAN by BIBI. That song is so good it made the scenes it played on even more intense! Your Light by TXT was also really good and it will probably be the song that comes to my mind everytime I think about this drama.

Overall I really enjoyed this drama and I think everything about it was very well done. And I will obviously re-watch it.

A very heart-warming and inspiring drama

I know many people seems to have mixed or negative feelings toward this drama but I really enjoyed it. There were times I was really frustrated with how the plot was progressing but once I finished it I realised it all actually made perfect sense. When I first started watching this I actually didn't even watch the trailer and had no idea who the main leads were. And I had very high expectations after watching the first few episodes. It didn't exactly hold up to those expectations but it still was a really good story and the actors did a good job in portraying their characters. It did seem a bit cliche sometimes but I loved it nevertheless.

I really loved the growth of each character as the story went on. How each of them realised their mistakes and tried to better themselves was very nice to watch. And I love it especially when the characters apologize for their mistakes. One lesson this drama taught me is that it's okay to take risks sometimes. It could end up with us being hurt but it still would be a learning experience. It could help us to not make the same mistake again. Samsan tech's journey was really so heart-warming. They had to go through very tough situations but they still did overcome all those and that was very inspiring to watch. I loved how Dalmi handled every situation, and even if she did face troubles I love how she didn't let it hold her down but got back up and kept fighting. I think that shows how she really is the girl on the swing. Dosan's character is one that I could relate to on many levels, even though I'm not a genius like him. A person like him who lacks self-confidence and is a bit introverted and also doesn't know what his dream is, being able to succeed while still being true to himself was very nice to watch. And Han Jipyeong's growth from a very brutally honest CEO who would point out the flaws without caring for others feelings and who only cared about grandma and dalmi to a more understanding person who is ready to invest in a start-up helping people who's going through what he went through was very touching. Only thing I have a problem with is that Injae doesn't have much screentime. I really wanted to see more of her especially since she's the second female lead. Her character growth was also really good. The way she turned from a selfish and arrogant person to one who understands what she actually values and needs made me love her character a lot. Also I really loved how Injae and Dalmi's family was able to reconcile after everything that happened between them and seeing them together and happy at the end was something I really loved. And looking at all the changes Yongsan went through was also very heart-warming. I loved how he went from wanting to take revenge for his brother's death to understanding it's no one's fault and apologizing for his mistakes. The love triangle between Dosan, Dalmi and Jipyeong was not something I enjoyed tbh. I would've preferred the triangle to end sooner so that I could see more of Dosan and Jipyeong's scenes without fighting and jealousy. But when I look at the scene where Dosan tells Jipyeong why he didn't want to take Jipyeong's offer to invest at first and Jipyeong realising that it really doesn't have anything to do with him being jealous I feel like it was good after all. I also really liked Chulsan and Saha's relationship. They were really cute. One thing I really loved about these characters is how real they are. None of them are perfect and they all have issues that they need to fix by themselves and some things doesn't even need fixing since that's just who they are. They are all humans and humans have flaws and it's okay as long as they are not harming anyone.

All the actors did a phenomenal job here that made this drama even more enjoyable for me. Nam Joohyuk's acting as Dosan was definitely one of the best performances I've seen from him. I could actually feel what Dosan was feeling just from his body language. Suzy was also really great and the scene I loved the most was her presentation for hackathon. Nam Joohyuk and Suzy's chemistry was also on another level. I'd really love to watch them in another drama in the future. Hopefully without any love triangles. Kim Seonho really did an amazing job as Han Jipyeong and I don't think I even have to comment on that. The way everyone seems to love him just proves how great an actor he is. Kim Haesook/grandma's acting was also one of my favourites. Kang Hanna, even though I wish she had more scenes did a wonderful job during her scenes and she really made me hate and love Injae.

Another thing that I loved about this drama is it's OSTs. I was going insane waiting for my favourite OSTs to be released! Two of my favourite OSTs are Love Letter by BOL4 and Dream by Jamie. All the other OSTs were really good as well, especially Future by Red Velvet. I'm sure I'll be listening to these for a long time, especially Love Letter, which I've been listening to on repeat since it was released!

Overall this was a really great drama and I would recommend this to anyone who's not too bothered by love triangles.

One of the best dramas this year and the most thrilling drama I've ever watched

I just finished watching the final episode and I'm really emotional right now. I was so scared about being disappointed by the ending but it didn't disappoint me at all.
I started watching this drama without any expectations so I was so shocked at how good it is. From the first scene itself I was hooked! The OST at the opening was enough for me to know this was going to be good. I was on edge from the beginning and episode 15 almost made me lose my mind! The story was so unpredictable and all the twists and turns made this even more enjoyable. The story really touched my heart. To me this is not just a thriller story that makes me excited but it gives some really good messages. The way everyone made hyunsu believe he's incapable of feeling emotions made me so sad. If only someone helped him instead of blindly believing rumours and hating on him and harassing him, I believe his and haesu's life would definitely have turned out different. Even Baek Heeseong wouldn't have become how he is if only his parents decided to talk to him about it and get him help instead of brushing it off and help him cover up his mistakes all the time. I also loved how strong, clear headed and understanding Cha Jiwon is. She's definitely going to be one of my favourite female leads of all time. Anyway I loved how well all these characters were written and the actors did a very good job portraying it.
All the actors did a good and convincing job. And I was so charmed by Jung Seoyeon's(eunha) acting. She was so cute and did a wonderful job even during the emotional scenes. The main leads, Moon Chaewon and Lee Joongi, also was so good at portraying their characters and their chemistry was too good. I was most impressed by Kim Jihoon. He did an extremely good job and I was so convinced by his acting.
Another thing I love the most about this drama is it's OSTs. All of them are so good especially 'Feel You'. That song made me emotional whenever that comes on. It intensified my emotions tenfold whenever that played on a scene. I have been listening to it on repeat since it's released and I don't know when I'll stop.
There's one more thing about this drama that should be mentioned...the ending of each episodes. All of the episodes ended in such a way that I couldn't help but be impatient to watch the next one. It almost made me regret watching this while it's still airing. I actually only watched the 15th episode yesterday since I knew it's going to drive me mad and I won't be able to wait another week.
So overall this was a really good drama and it's one of my favourites this year. I loved everything about it and I am so glad that I decided to watch it.

One of the best dramas I've ever watched

I really really love this drama. Everything about it was so beautiful, the story, acting, ost, animations, cinematography, EVERYTHING! I finished watching it just now so I think I'm being a bit too excited right now😅 Anyway this drama really made me go through so many emotions, and I felt so deeply about all the characters and their stories.
To me this story was about growth and I feel like they showed it in a very beautiful way that really touched my heart. The fairy tales told in the drama were also so good that I actually want to buy them all. Out of all of my favourite dramas this is probably the only one that didn't disappoint me even for a moment. The story was so well written that there was nothing left out at the end and it didn't feel even a little bit rushed. Even the story of the side characters didn't feel unnecessary or boring and it all made me think and reevaluate my views towards life and people.
All of the actors did a really wonderful job portraying their characters. I think Seo Yeji is my favourite. She was so perfect as Go Moon Young like this role was made for her. And I'm so impressed by Oh Jung Se's acting. It was so good and convincing and made me feel deeply for Moon Sangtae. Kim Soo Hyun was also really good. He was really good as Moon Gangtae. All the other actors also did a great job that they all left great impression on me. I really love all the characters especially the director of ok psychiatric hospital.
Another thing I really love about this drama is the ost. All of the songs sounds so good and fit the scenes they were played on perfectly and made them extra special.
The animations for the fairy tales were another thing that really captured my attention. And the illustrations for the fairy tales were really good as well.
I really enjoyed this drama and I know I will definitely watch this again. I'm seriously going to miss this drama.

One of the best romance dramas ever!!

I forgot that the uncut version had a separate page so I've been commenting on the other one all this time. But I don't want to stop talking about this drama yet so I'll post my review here too.

I've been watching this since the day it started airing when I accidentally found it on youtube and I am so glad I decided to watch this. It's really the best and now my mind is completely filled with thoughts about this. Each and every episode was so good that every week I was not able to watch anything else after watching this. I couldn't even sleep properly because I kept thinking about this just like now. Whether there's a season 2 or not this is still the best drama I watched this year. And I really loved the ending because even if there's no season 2 I already saw Yai and Jom meeting in the modern times. But I do want to see Jom travelling back to the past and also see how Yai was in that life.

I really love love stories where the love lasts through several lifetimes or for hundreds or thousands of years. So Yai's love and dedication to him in all his lives is really beautiful to me. And I feel bad for him because he had to live a lifetime missing and waiting for his love. Just thinking about how strong his love for Jom is to live with so much pain just to keep his promise is making me cry. I don't know when was the last time I cared and felt this deeply for a character. He's so beautiful, kind and romantic that I can't help but love him. Also he's like the definition of romantic... everything he does or says is romantic. When will I ever find another character like him?? After writing all this I realise Yai is what I loved the most about this series. But I do love all the other characters too... especially Jom. He went through so much in his life so I'm glad he found Yai... in the past and the present. Also another thing I loved about this drama is that the supporting characters and their stories never felt boring to me. I loved each one of them. It gave me a better understanding of how life might have been during that time.

Another thing I loved about this drama is the acting. Everyone acted so well and it never felt awkward or bad. And the chemistry between the main leads was the best! Bright and Nonkul's acting and their chemistry made me believe in Yai and Jom's love.

And the OSTs are really the best! I've been listening to the OSTs by ASIA7 and COCKTAIL on repeat ever since I found them. And now I have two more beautiful songs to listen to.

The more I think about this drama the more I want a season 2. I thought I would be okay without one but now I feel like I won't be. Also I want it so that I can finally read the novel in peace. Anyway this drama is definitely one of my most favourites ever.

A very cute and sweet story with one of the best and healthiest relationships I have seen

I have never watched a love story like this one before. Most or all of the ones I have watched before had made me really frustrated and sad most of the times so this was really refreshing to watch. I don't even think I cried, not because it was not deep enough to make me feel pain or because the acting was bad but I knew whatever the problems were it'd be solved soon. I had a lot of trust in the main couple's relationship. Even though they did sometimes keep things from each other most of the times they communicated really well that I knew I don't have to worry about them having too many misunderstandings... also they had really good friends to put sense into them when they did make mistakes. The story was deep, but not too complicated. Even if there were problems it gets solved in an episode or two so it never felt like the story was dragging on. The pace was just perfect and I'm glad it ended the way it did, even though I'd have loved to watch more of Dam and human Wooyeo being cute together. It was not just the main couple that I loved, all the characters were really good! I really loved Hyesun and Jaejin's relationship. They were the best and both of them were too cute! Hyesun and Wooyeo's friendship was another thing I loved. I loved watching them fight... they were really like kids when they did😂 Sookyung was so funny as well and I loved how both her and Jaejin really cared about Dam. I really loved their friendship!

Now to talk about the acting, all the actors did a wonderful job and I especially loved Kang Hanna. She was so cute and I have only watched dramas of her where she's a really cold or bad person so it was nice seeing her being all cute and funny. This role really suits her and I hope I'll get to see her playing more characters like this in the future. And Jang Kiyong... I don't know why but he really feels like a different person with different hairstyles. But I'll focus on his acting now, and he is really good! I feel like he can do any kind of roles! He did a great job being both serious and cute. And his smile is the prettiest I feel like I could look at him all day long! Sometimes when he smiles I also felt like he could play the role of a psychopath as well😅 This is the first drama of Lee Hyeri I watched and I'm really impressed with her acting! She did especially well during the emotional scenes and she's really funny as well! Kiyong and Hyeri's chemistry was too good! I definitely want to see them in more dramas together... hopefully romcom. They were too funny together so I'd like to see that than anything too emotional. Kim Dowan was really cute and this is, I think, the third drama of him I'm watching and his acting was good as usual. All the other actors were good as well and I don't think there's anyone I didn't like... except Sunwoo but that was not because of Bae Inhyuk's acting, which was really good and he was really cute as well, but I just hate people like that. And I have to mention this one... Kim Doyeon, I really loved her! She was so cool and funny and I really want to see more of her.

The OSTs were really good and it all fitted perfectly with the scenes. And I especially liked Door(Your Moon) by Jeong Sewoon. I have been listening to it a lot and it's really beautiful!

Overall I loved this drama and I'd actually love to see some special episodes as well. And I'd love to see the cast reuniting for another drama as well! I'm really going to miss this drama which made my Wednesdays and Thursdays brighter... and I know I will be re-watching this soon.

A very confusing yet thrilling drama

I won't say this drama is the best, but it's still very interesting and kept me waiting for each episode. It was really confusing at times but by the end everything was explained well so I don't really mind all the confusion. It just made the drama even more thrilling. It kept me on edge throughout and made me use my brain to its maximum capacity. All the plot twists and the possibility of anyone, even the least expected ones, being the villain made me pay attention to every little detail and not forget anyone. I don't think any other drama had me use my brain this much.

Not only the story but the actors were really good as well. Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Se Young did a great job portraying their characters. All the other actors did a good job as well. I especially liked Lee Se Young's character a lot.

The chemistry between Lee Se Young and Yoo Seung Ho was really good even though there was no romance. That's another thing I liked about this drama. There was no romance at all between the main characters. I wouldn't have minded if there was but I think it would've been a bit out of place to squeeze in romance between all those chaos. And I also liked the dynamic between all the other characters as well. They made the tense atmosphere a bit more light at times.

The OSTs are probably the only thing that didn't really make much impression on me. It was not bad though. Just not my favourite. It still did match with the thrilling atmosphere of the drama.

I know this drama may not be for everyone but if you are willing to work your brain and sit through total confusion and twists and turns every episode for 16 episodes you might probably like it.

A beautiful story that touched my heart ❤️

I started this without much expectations so it really took me by surprise just how good this drama is. At the beginning I was still unsure if I'll really like it but as the story progressed I started to love and care about all the characters and got too attached.

There are so many things I love about this story but I think what I love the most is seeing Day and Mohk's journey through all the ups and downs they faced in their lives... not just in their relationship but also individually. Honestly I had mixed feelings about the last episodes and was really mad that they broke up and after that acted like it was not a big deal. But at the end when I thought about it all I was able to understand the actions of each character better. At first I was confused why Mohk and Day were acting so calm when they met each other after so long but then I was able to understand that even though it hasn't been that long for me for them it's been 3 years and they both must've thought about everything that happened multiple times and must've understood each other's actions better by then. I was also upset that Day still thought what Mohk did was wrong but now I understand that it must've felt really upsetting seeing the person you love lying and giving up opportunities because they were scared to leave you alone. Even though it was not done out of pity it still must've felt that way to Day. I was also not sure if Day getting his eyesight back would be a good idea but then I realised how stupid that thought was. He always wanted to see and even though he finally accepted that he's blind being able to see again wouldn't be a bad thing since it makes him happy. Why would I be upset about someone being happy? Especially when it's a character/person I really love and care about. Sometimes (or most times) thinking from the perspective of the characters can really help in understanding their actions. The ending also made me really happy because I could actually feel the happiness each of the characters were feeling.

Another thing I loved is the main couple's chemistry. They looked really good together. And their acting was also good. I loved all the other characters too, especially Night and Porjai. I was so happy when I saw them get married. I don't know if I've ever loved a second couple this much before. Also Porjai is so pretty and she's such a nice person and friend. I love her and Mohk's friendship.

The OSTs are also really good and I've already added a few of them to my playlist.

Anyway this is definitely one of my favourite dramas ever and I am glad I decided to watch it.
