Cliche done right!!!

A guy with amnesia. A girl who pretends to be his fiancee. And a sweet romance. I think you must be quite acquainted about this kind of plot. But however common may it be, the execution was beautiful.

Plot:
The female lead was once the male lead's student. Coincidently, she witnessed his accident and decided to help him because she needed his coordination to complete a deal at her workplace. Slowly they fell in love with each other. Challenges come when the male lead regains his memory but as the story progressed they finally confessed to each other. I loved the fact that the female lead was independent and strong, and not some poor girl in damsel whose life will be changed by the male lead. She is smart and confident. She only needed the male lead's help because of her incompetent boss.
There are several comedy scenes and romantic scenes.
The initial 10-15 episodes doesn't seem to add much to the plot. And their progression of love is quite slow. After the 15-16 episodes, the story picked up.

Acting:
Both the leads were charming and attractive. For Ji Xiao Bing, playing the role of a cold business mogul wasn't something new. But he does it well every time. However, seeing his cute side was a refreshment. Jin Wen Xin looked confident but a friendly person. They both gave equal challenge to each other when it came to fight for their love. The chemistry was amazing. And most of the supporting casts were great. You gotta love the female lead's family.

The show had many cute scenes, comedy scenes but most important it won't feel illogical to you (I mean apart from the memory loss logic, of course). Therefore, it is one of those dramas which I might re-watch again but only after 15-16 episodes.

Till my next review....
XoXo

One of the best Romantic dramas and certainly the best Thai drama in my watching history.

Oh so hot!! The chemistry was beyond my expectation. The attraction towards the drama took birth since the telecast of the first trailer. Even my 'not so drama watching friends' were lured towards it.

It started typically with a arrogant boy and sweet loving girl. I loved the theme of a pure romance without the prevailing slap-kiss environment of Thai dramas. The development of love between Muey and Thien looked very realistic. The set lightings were fantastic. It gave a dream like effect to our characters. Even though Thien was rich and Muey poor, however, it was refreshing, not to see money hungry women around Thien and plotting against Muey. Infact, thank god their were no extra side stories or characters. In this entire story, their is one and only one situation where Thien will gradually fall in love with Muey. Loved it. Loved it.

Their makeup to costumes were so relatable. Totally like what a common person would wear and feel. The most interesting and applaudable thing is design of the characters. Muey is hopelessly in love with Thien and do anything for his happiness but mind it that she is not a pushover. Thien is arrogant but not indifferent to other's emotions. There are many aww moments but not one that would be called cheesy. It was perfect. Thien and Muey were perfect.

Oh god, this drama was totally awesome. A mustttttttt watch. Watch it for the story. Watch it for the romance. And definitely watch it for the 'Sizzling chemistry'. Clearly the best Thai couple of till date. No doubt. No regret.

I don't know what to say. Is this drama good, absolutely. Does it have a good story, yes and a very different one compared to other Thai BL dramas. Does it contains heart melting romance, damn yes. Will it make you cry, a little bit. But most importantly, does it have a happy ending, that my friends is a very big YES.

What I applaud most about this drama, is its story, which was in par with the mainstream dramas. It was commendable, how the drama binds together all the characters and not just focus on the leading couple. In most BL dramas, the main focus is always on the buildup of the relationship between the main couple and their friends. Basically the leads' struggle within themselves is highlighted. But "Until I met you" was refreshingly different. I could see the story from the eyes of many different characters. I could feel their emotions. The flashback scenes were amazing. Each scene had a meaning, a reason to be there in the show.

The acting and character development of each character was very good. And I mean it when I say that for 'each character'. Dean is a quite and strict man. But gradually after meeting with Pharm, he starts feeling more happy and socialises more with his siblings and his friends. I loved how his personality undergoes slow and gradual changes like a little smile or little romantic stares instead of stark changes. It is because he has always carried the burden of his memories, actually much more than Pharm. Pharm is a cute, innocent boy and dude, he has given some good emotional scenes throughout the series. Talking about the development of other characters, I loved how the story binded the Ariyasakul and the Chatphokin families together, both 30 years ago and in the present time. So, each and every character had something to realise and to deliver, from Dean's mother and grandmother to Pharm's grandfather, uncle and his cousin. Now, saving the best for the last, I loved the acting of Intouch, portrayed by Earth. I believe that he had the most variations in his acting, from sweet to cute, hyper energetic and sad too. I simply loved him. I think he and Korn had more variations of romantic scenes, i;e: from food making trials to giving the umbrella to Korn under the rain, from the candy and the keychain gift to the beach confession, whereas the love display between Dean and Pharm was limited to visiting each others places and Pharm cooking good food. I wished there were more.

I loved the ost of 'you and me forever'. It's so freaking romantic. I think this drama will be a memorable one in the universe of BL. It is a must for all BL and all drama lovers. I re-watched it within a week, this is how much I loved the whole scenario. Do watch it. You won't be disappointed.

OMG!. What a great drama. You know what's the difference between Asian and Western dramas? It's how the facial expressions win the hearts in the Asian dramas , specially the eyes becomes so much expressive whether be it a joyous moment or a sad situation. This drama made me cry a river but I didn't felt too bad. In-fact I could feel my heart fill with positivity after each passing episode. I mean it was a beautiful portrayal of how a person's life is never his or her own. There are a lot of people affected by our actions as it happened in Thannam's case. And how Thannam 's soul, makes them embrace their lives again through her brother, Tonmai.

The story-line is excellent. It's new, different than I've ever seen before. Most of all, it has something for every character. There are good twists. And the most impressive part was that even though Tonmai have never met his older sister before yet it was beautiful how he could share all her feelings.

All the actors were fabulous. However, I liked Tonmai best here. Because, each and every feeling of Thannam reached to the outer world through Tonmai. He is the star here. I felt a little sad and a little a happy for him. Sad because without any fault he had to suffer the coldness of his father. They never celebrated his birthday at home. But it was beautiful how he understood it all. I was happy for him when got to meet his sister. It so happened that his sister became the fairy guide for him. Their love was so sweet. I totally loved the duo's scenes with Tee a.k.a. Push. It was so deep, how all of Thannam's words were spoken by Tonmai to Tee but you would never feel it to be artificial. Even when Tee is looking at Tonmai's eyes, it totally felt that he was looking into Thannam's soul. My heart totally cried for them.

Over and all, it's an excellent show to watch. There are numerous unexpected moments and twist and turn. It was totally binge-worthy if you're comfortable with crying for hours. It can be re-watched but just let some time pass before doing so. After-all, you need to cleanse your already filled heart to absorb the galaxy of emotions in this drama. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. A must watch.

This drama owned me. It was a situation that my neighborhood would witness. A sweet, naive girl in pursuit of her crush. Shen Yue was just perfect. From the neat bob to her silly walking, everything was just perfect. Hu Yi Tian made a perfect pair with her. Actually, a very unique pair. Anybody could see the height difference between them. However, you could observe that the writer created many fun and sweet moments out of this difference. This is what happens in reality. There is no perfect pair. Couples become perfect in the way they balance each other. There was no over the top situations or miracles happening. The story progressed in accordance to how a real story would progress.

While coming to the storyline, it was a simple high school romance which was very easy to understand. We could see some of the best examples of friendships. I believe Gao Zhi Ting also played a very remarkable character. He showed us the real example of love. He was always there for Xiao Xi and even let her go smoothly when the time came. We could also applaud him for being the matchmaker for the leads as he made Xiao Xi hear Jiang Chen's confession.

I will give it a high high high rewatch value. Do indulge in it if you want to recall your school romance.

Lemme make a checklist, romance - yes, funny - yes, story - uh, probably not.

This drama tried to incorporate a fairy-tale love story with cheesy lines, manipulated situations by the hero and, light hearted and lovely supporting characters. Hence, if you are searching for any practicality or idealism in this drama, then strictly REFRAIN from doing so!.

When you'll look at the story, it's practically not possible in real life. I mean, a person marrying someone in exchange of saving his or her life. I mean common!. How can anyone be so dumb to believe that a billionaire would like to get married to you without any ulterior motive. But my people, this is the thing here - YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEARCH FOR ANY LOGIC. The flow of the drama has been kept very soft, in the sense that you'll outright understand that it won't be having any big sudden twists or tearful sad scenes. Yes, their were times when the love between the leads was tested, yet it won't be heart prickly sad. The twists were miserable, I mean it didn't felt digestible. There was no big reason for the step - brother to be this evil. However, remember to not look deep into the story as you'll lose your mind. This drama only tends to spread soft romance by killing everything else.

When we come to acting and character development, I can firmly state that the leads had a good chemistry among them and actually looked perfect for their characters. The hero did a good job portraying the handsome and suave CEO. He could portray the coldness and the mischief quite perfectly from his face. At times, he even looked desperate while trying to save his marriage with the female lead and was always quick to understand her indications behind her each and every action. He totally rocked the possessive romantic man look. But be cautious, in real life, some of his actions would look creepy and stalker-ish. The female lead perfectly played the role of a lovely, innocent, mischievous woman. She is very down to earth and values her dignity. The supporting cast also wee a good addition for the overall love quotient of the show, especially the funny moments of Wen Li.

So overall, is it a good drama? Probably yes for those who only wants to see cheesy romance and can let go of their expectations to find any sane reasoning behind the scenes. And my dear friends, I must tell you that there is huge target market for these cheesy romance dramas.

As per the re-watch value, well probably I'll be back to see some of the romance clippings with my boyfriend but for the entire show? - I don't think I can ever do that. It is purely a one time watch but a good one, but strictly for the target viewers.

Better than many big productions - Great Plot twist

This drama looks sweet and cheeky on the surface but once you get on with it, you would find there was nothing cheeky at all. It was sweet but quite fresh with a different plot, vfx, no unnecessary troupes and most importantly one great big twist.

Story:
Story is fresh. Initially it might look that it will be a basic idol drama but from 3rd or 4rth episode only, you will find dept in it. There are also many small suspense scenes in this drama which makes it totally binge-worthy. Even the overall story was quite meaningful. The way in which it showed the harmful effect of virtual world was great.

Characters:
Oh my! Not just the leads but every other person on their team has strong characters. They all play small or big role in creating that perfect end. Loved the badass grandmother.

Music and other setting: Since the drama had an 'idol' plot, hence everything was staged like that. Great music, costumes, interior designs and of course the lightings.

Conclusion - Refreshing, lovable, light hearted yet thrilling. And totally binge-worthy !

This drama had a very thrilling start. But gradually it lost its 'bingeworthy' charm. The cases were interesting but somehow I found myself feeling a little tired. I want to mention that I've yet not watched the American version, hence my entire review is solely focused on the performance of this drama.

First of all, as mentioned, the cases were interesting and very believable. I mean that the way our main cast completes their mission feels relatable. It's not very over the top or extremely swift like a ninja. The audience can totally relate to the cast members and their stints - even if they would stumble a little on their path. Because after all they are human. So this feels good. The episodes in the middle may feel a little stretchy. But towards the end, the drama regains its momentum.

In case of the actors, they all performed their roles well. However, I felt that the show lacked character development and a bond development. I mean, relationships are formed gradually. However, the entire team displayed the same level of attachment towards each other throughout the drama. It is good that they were friendly to each other and trusted each other since the beginning but if there is no development in the relationships, be it personal or professional, love or even hate, then the drama gets deprived of powerful emotions.

If you want, you can definitely give it a go but I highly doubt that you would opt for re-watching it.

Just Wow!!

This drama is a masterpiece for me. Beautiful, engaging, sexy and most importantly, true. Most of the Asian BL dramas try to be cheesy and funny. They are certainly a good time pass but this drama, it's certainly here to stay. The romance is so evident between the lead couple and so realistic. I wish they could have been my neighbour.

The plot is simple but an important one. It touches an issue beyond gay couple i:e; gay parenting. And what a beautiful job it has done. It feels so emotional when their child Kai accepts that he has two daddys. I believe this is an eye opener for our society. I highly applaud when TV brings such nutritional content for our society which is important for its development. Even though this is one story but each episode can be scene as a standalone too. The episodes are not really left on a cliffhanger.

Acting: Love it! Love it! Love it! It was an undeniably full marks for the actors. Furthermore, the characters look so real. They are not just eye candy but I can feel them to be real people, who I can across on the road. This is actually another element which makes this drama so down to earth. Perfect execution. Hence, I salute the director. I love the children in the shows. The child, Kai, plays an important role and does it beautifully. All the supporting characters are also great. And most importantly they all love themselves. They are so comfortable under their skin.

Rewatch Value: It's again a 10.

Beautiful story. Solid emotions. Realistic direction and remarkable acting. It's TV at its best. A must watch or you're gonna regret my readers.

Good Artwork

The drama had one of the best cinematography, grip worthy plot and intriguing action scenes. But it's not for everyone. You must have immense patience to appreciate the storyline and the direction. Many a times it might even feel a little dark. But that's just the genre of this drama.

Story:
The story was quite great. It's unique and thrilling. Almost every character was beautifully written. The assassin's training sessions and the development of the story was all new. Most importantly, I loved the action scenes. They were so smooth and so well captured. Even the females were given great scenes. The only thing that was difficult for me to absorb is the constant fight between the assassin's conscience and the action of killing, especially in the case of the leads. In the name of survival, killing is promoted. Usually for an assassin, there is no conscience. He either works for money or for revenge. These 2 reasons are digestible. But the excuse of personal survival is too negative for me. There are many ways to survive. Therefore, at many points of the drama, I felt angry at the characters.
The storyline is indeed deep and heavy. So watch patiently.

Cinematography:
Absolutely fantastic. Every set location was unique and beautiful. The costumes were gorgeous. I believe the only thing restricting this drama from going into the category of 'dark drama', is the visuals. At various points, the visuals were lighting up my mood.

Acting:
Acting was good. Everyone played their part beautifully. The chemistry between the leads was obvious from the first time they met. Their story was emotional. Again, the only annoying part was the 'conscience v/s killing' scenes.

Conclusion: Unique story, thrilling storyline, amazing visuals but a little dark. This is why I labelled it as 'A Good Artwork' instead of 'A Good Drama'. I won't be re-watching this show. Even though I highly appreciate it but still, one time was enough for me.

The standard 'cute romance' drama. South Korea is known for producing 'cute fluffy romances'. Best mistake is a standard example of that. So just open your heart and don't try to put your mind into use.

Plot:
A common high school love between a sweet and honest girl, and a slightly bad boy. Well, the boy already transformed into a good, hardworking guy in Season 1. So you can see their cute romance from the very first episode of season 2 itself. The attraction of the show was definitely the romance between our leads. This season progressed to show a break up between them due to the schemes of another girl. Again, only invest your heart in the show, not your mind. Don't try to rationalise their situation. Just go with the flow. Later on they reunite, as expected.

Acting: The acting was fluctuating between Ok and good. But still, I love the cast. They all suited to their characters. Eun Jae (Yeon Doo) and Yul (Hyun ho) looked great together. Hyun ho had the most character development in the entire 2 seasons. I loved his lovestruck and devoted expressions for Yeon Doo. All the supporting casts were also good.

You can give it a go when you are free. It doesn't have much to offer but it will make your heart flutter. Actually this was what the drama intends to do. So, Go for IT!!!

Partners for Justice is certainly one of the best forensic - investigative drama I've ever seen. From the plot, cast, acting and most importantly, the brilliantly shown forensic operations, everything was excellent.

Plot:
Like other investigation dramas, this one too had simultaneous cases popping up which the forensic and the prosecutor team needed to solve. All the cases were intriguing and believable. Each scene is so detailed and beautifully executed that you won't be confused about how the team reached that conclusion. The end of episode cliffhanger will force you, to watch the episodes, one after another. It totally comes under the binge-worthy category.

Acting: Everyone is just so perfect. The entire team in the show is so dedicated to their work that they lack personal time but you won't see them complaining. I am not telling it is correct but I loved to see the passion they all had for their profession. All of them displayed a hardworking and ever learning personality. Jae young was awesome as a rude and rough forensic expert, Baek Boom. Stella Hwang brought just the right amount of humour on the show. Her lines were always in context with the tests she conducted but the way in which she revealed her findings is funny but attractive.

Production: I loved the forensic experiments that were conducted in the show. Each step was so detailed. It was actually the first time, I saw how postmortem is conducted. What tools are used. Usually other shows already show the bodies , opened at their injured part or where they have to checked. But this show was as honest as it could be with the profession of forensics and the audience supporting it.

Must watch the show one time. Majority of you won't opt for a re-watch because being a investigative drama, it will lose its appeal of suspense.

A story that had the potential to be perfect

Different story, a superpower mix, suspense and a strong team of women. This drama had the potential to be a perfect 10 but some elements dragged it down.

Story:
A 5 member investigating team of women called Higanbana. Every team member had a different specialty. And they were good at it. All the cases were quite interesting. The element of superpower was quite unique. The heroine can hear the last spoken voices at the crime scenes. But some elements felt a little repetitive. For example, after the first two episode, I hated the fainting scene of the heroine whenever she reached the crime scene for the first time. Here something different could have been done. Also, I felt that the drama needed some action scenes.

Acting
Every character was great. The women were professional in their work but also demonstrated great friendship among them. They perfectly portrayed their personalities.

It was a good show for 8 episodes. You can definitely watch it once. I rarely go for re-watching any suspense or thriller shows because there is no suspense left after watching it once. Similar is the case with this drama. There wasn't anything that would pull me to watch it again.

Had a different kind of charm

And unique charm makes it above average and worth watching

Story:
Nitiman had a very common storyline. Highschool setting, secret crush and then both the leads fall in love. Nothing new there. But once you start watching it, you'll definitely want to see the characters develop, get to know each other and then fall in love. That's what this series was all about. Growing fond of each other. It is a cute, medium paced drama with no negative moments. The most charming thing was that gradually you'll realise that every other character here roots for the main couple. In every episode, their every action was directed just to bring the leads closer. Even in the last episode, the rude behaviour of Bomb's mother was revealed to be just teasing to incite Jin's emotions.

Some glimpses of side story was shown like that of Keam and Ball. But it was just left for the imagination of the audience. The story solely focused on Jin and Bomb.

All in all, you can watch it once. It's has an attractive appeal even with a simple storyline and nothing unique. It's slow but definitely not boring. Worth watching it once.

A must watch

A refreshing drama which proves that talent needs no advertisement. This drama is actually a gem. I think it was just shy from the mark of being a masterpiece. Everything was unique in this drama. A different plot, a different kind of positive feeling even though it was a suspense thriller, no melodrama and most of all, almost each character portrayed a strong personality and a strong mindset. You can see everyone's mind running to find answers or the reason behind each other's action from the information provided to them. Be it Prince An, Chu Chu, Jing yi, Leng Yue, Xue Ru cheng, Prince An's father and mother, or even Eunuch Qin. It shows how the story gives a justifying presence to each character, even if they appear for a small amount time.

Plot: The plot was different. It was a suspense thriller and all the different episodes were beautifully interconnected. No dragging. Each episode was worth watching and added to the entire story. Each case or each death was excellently described. Of course, it was expected from a drama focusing on the work of a coroner. But still great amount of research was done to show the work of the coroner during the imperial time because the process had to be conducted without any modern medical tools or technology. The show didn't put much focus on romance but little light and sweet moments were present to show character development.

Cinematography: The show had authentic locations. Rarely any extra effects were used. No extra lighting. Everything was kept simple and genuine.

Acting: It was good. There hardly were any emotional scenes, hence not much variations can be seen in case of facial expressions. But I enjoyed Eunuch Qin's performance the most, especially his fake guilty, loyal expressions before the king.

Rewatch value: It was a one time kind of thing. That's the case with most suspense thrillers. Once everything is disclosed, the thrill is lost. If you want, I would recommend to watch again after sometime when you might have forgotten all about it
