Invisible Life = Transparent Life

I was immediately drawn to the title, "Invisible Life" and anticipated the upcoming suspense, tension and bubbling heartwarming scenes. However, I was greatly disappointed to see that the heartwarming scenes were limited to the first few episodes in regards to the main couple. Upon proposing and getting married the drama became a battle zone of issues such as misunderstandings, untrusting spouse, annoying mothers-in-law, frustrating unrequited love, work-related problems and a woman's position in the world. The focus of the drama is a couple hiding their relationship at work because of its strict policy of no dating. While struggling with work and family life the female protagonist (more like an antagonist atp) becomes stronger and overcomes. It was only by the grace of God that I reached episode 32 without gorging my eyes or pulling all my hair out. The focus of the drama is immediately thrown out of the window as the company figures out their relationship relatively faster than I expected. I wished for an opportunity to actually see the extent of how they'd manage to hide their relationship and how they would interact with one another but it was short-lived. Maybe I was expecting too much but I feel like the drama, Invisible Life was too transparent. Their life was pretty open to everyone and nothing much was invisible other than their communication skills. Their communication seems like it isn't meant to solve anything but to argue. Each character already has arrived at their own conclusion therefore discussing the matter is pointless. The female lead is argumentative, selfish and frustrating. Her husband is portrayed as someone who is mature and goes after what he wants yet it seems that it only applies to work. Their relationship and chemistry were much better when he was in the hospital and while they were dating. If you do continue to watch the drama soak up all their cute moments in the beginning because in the later episodes you will barely and rarely see them being intimate or cute. Don't get me wrong they are wonderful actors but the script isn't my favourite. I understand the struggles of the female lead and how difficult it is to live in a society that is male-dominated and sexist but there are many times where she forgets his situation and how he feels. The husband tries to understand his wife but he truly believes that he should solely provide for his family. It's sweet but frustrating. The drama is drawn out and so tiresome. As always the supporting cast relationships save the show. Their relationships are slow and can be frustrating at times but its fine.
