Terrible. Racist script. Offensive

Don't watch this. Racism against South-East Asians are so prevalent but overlooked. This drama is an example of it and it's downright insulting.

What's the point of saying "you look like a Filipino maid" and how is being a maid an insult in the first place? There is nothing wrong with that occupation. It's a decent job. Makes you wonder why they said this in the drama. For comedic purposes? How can anyone even find that funny?

If you tolerate that and you still want to watch this drama, then I don't know what to do with you.

Refreshing Characters, a Must-Watch

A very enjoyable drama to watch despite its flaws. This is a pretty long review so let me begin with the one thing I didn't like. This is already a 9 for me and I definitely would have given this a perfect 10 if it weren't for this. This may not be that be a big deal so don't let this one discourage you. The character progress is really good on this one.

Anyway, the FL is characterized as a strong and smart businesswoman. Well, she is. And her character is (too) pushy in the first few episodes. As much as I love the FL here, she didn't really respect the ML's personal space/boundaries at first. The good thing here though, is that her character has excellent development. From being self-centered, it doesn't take too long for her to grow and become genuine and caring for the ML.

Alright, now for the good things. I can't list them all or else it'd take forever but one of the best things in this drama is the character/cast. Unlike most kdramas and cdramas I've watched, the ML is kind, supportive, and mature. The reversal of roles is a joy to watch.

Also, once the leads actually get together, you can't help but swoon and be happy for their relationship. It's healthy and wholesome. Not to mention the amazing chemistry. I've watched the behind the scenes and you can really tell that the actors are comfortable with each other.

Must-watch coming of age drama. Reminds me of youth

I made an account just to write how much I loved this drama. If that doesn't convince you to start watching this, keep reading!

This starts off with your typical optimistic FL and cold ML but it gets better as you keep going. I wanted to drop it at the 4th ep but I didn't, best decision I've made haha.

Honestly, the ML wasn't even that much of a tsundere and he began to express his affection for her in cute and subtle acts. He's the ideal boyfriend to be honest... Also, the FL was adorable, I couldn't help but root for her. The second lead cast was nice and thankfully no annoying character nor unnecessary drama. Plus there wasn't any annoying misunderstandings, that's honestly a breath of fresh air for me.

I'm still not over Lan Tian Ye and Su Can Can! >< I also watched their other drama together, My Girl and it felt like a sequel lol (it's so rare to see the same couple get casted as main again, so lucky!)
