i dont know where i set my expectations were, but this drama exceeded it so much

Needless to say this is a really good drama. Frustrating at times, but it's really good. Because I'm currently watching Tomorrow where Yun Jion is also in, I tried to put this off for a while and watch it after Tomorrow finishes airing. But I couldn't because I was too curious after accidentally finding out that his role is a villain here. Jion's acting that I've seen were really good, but all of his roles seem to radiate the sweet, innocent, and nice image (ryunggu too, but he's different from the other characters). I was scared that watching this would ruin my experience with Ryunggu (it didn't cause i can separate the art from the person too well apparently) BUT... All of Jion's filmography that I've seen also didn't ruin my experience with his role here, X. I was really shocked. Of course. He was too different from the other characters. I felt many things watching him here. He was scary, terrifying, and confusing. In a good way. It gave me goosebumps every time he comes into the frame. It gave me goosebumps hearing the tone of his voice so similar to his role as Ryunggu, but at the same time so different because it's mixed with malice. Nearing the end he confuses me. Was he good? Was he bad? What happened? How did he become like this? Was he never this kind of person before? And even until the end, Jion really pulled off X's role too well. I can't imagine if this role was given to anyone else. X is Jion. The role fits perfectly on him.

Other than that biased (Or not) talk about Jion's role as X, I think the duration, the amount of episodes this has is perfect. It doesn't feel too long and dragged, but it's not so fast that it felt rushed. Just the perfect time. I also really have to say the two main leads also did really well. It's my first time seeing Kwon Yuri as an actor and i think she did very well! For Hyunwoo, I first saw him at law school (drama) and I remember liking him a lot in that drama, so seeing him here was nice, and its really cool to see him in a different genre, he did really well too!! Their relationship that was really sweet, but somehow got tangled because of their views and feelings as individuals. Eventually the two find out each other's perspectives and become better people and strengthen their bond. It was really nice to see.
