The most romantic drama I’ve watched yet
Omg I LOVEEEEED this drama! I’m a huge yang yang fan ever since love O2 … i didn’t think he cld top that drama. BUT THIS IS JUST AS GOOD, maybe even better! I love healthy realistic love stories without the unnecessary melodrama … and this fit the bill 100%. We see this mature couple advance from crush to friends to finally long distance dating, live in dating and then married. Just like a normal modern day couple. and then the witty banter and chemistry is off the charts! You don’t need rom com tropes and unnecessary melodrama when the writers know how to entertain an audience with conversations. It’s funny it’s romantic. It’s so feel good and swoon worthy. I loved every second. I’ll be back to watch again! HATS OFF TO THE WRITERS for crafting such a refreshing healthy modern love story!Was this review helpful to you?
I loved it!
I loved everything about this! To me it was realistic portrayal of dating and falling in love. Sometimes “situation-ships” aren’t healthy when they start but turn into something magical that lasts a lifetime. The chemistry is off the charts. For a kdrama the pace was fast and amazing. The love scenes were also something I’ve never scene in a kdrama before and it was refreshing. While the bad boy turned good plot has been done a million times this was a great drama. Good acting but horrible characters
The writers wrote some really unlikable characters. Usually when I watch a drama the writers makes me cheer for the main characters. But not in this story. The female lead is horrible. The main male lead is horrible. The female best friends are annoying. The only really likable character is the side male lead. I’ve watched other stories with toxic male leads like “cheese in the trap” and “nevertheless” and even those male leads were better written where their background story made you at least understand or cheer for them. The only saving grace for this drama was that the acting was good.Was this review helpful to you?
Chemistry is off the charts
This drama has a slow start. It’s still enjoyable but it doesn’t get 10 stars good until after episode 10 when the leads meet in real life. The chemistry is off the the charts. The kiss and love scenes are some of the best I have seen in a C-drama! This drama is up there with love o2o and you are my glory for best gaming related rom coms of all time. A healthy love story with communication and understanding is on display. There are so many laugh out loud moments!I have a few minor complaints
The secondary male love interest was way too old for me to take him seriously. He’s a gorgeous man but he’s 50 years old while the female lead is in her early 20s … and he’s her superior in the music industry…. This just gave me bad vibes.
Next there is a depressed supporting character. Honestly i started fast forwarding through all her scenes.

Thrown off by the Racism
I was thrown off by the racism. In England they encounter only happy white foreigners everywhere and then the only black foreigners they encounter are gangsters who attack the secondary male & female leads. I’m so tired of racist stereotypes and casting being perpetuated in the media. Sometimes the only encounter people have with a different race is what they see in the media so negative racist stereotypes have a huge impact on cross cultural understandings. it’s really hard for me to continue watching a drama once I see it.Was this review helpful to you?
I loved everything
This drama had a great plot. Tons of swoon worthy romantic moments and kissing scenes. Tons of funny moments where I LMAO. Great acting. AMAZING chemistry. Great cinematography. And a refreshing story without the typical kdrama tropes like horrid love triangles, backstabbing or nasty “in-laws”. It was just an honest reflection of recovering from past relationship trauma, learning to love yourself again and finding new love. The lead couple was so believable as a real couple. Starts off good but then becomes a waste of time
If you came to this drama because other gaming related rom coms like love o2o, you are my glory, or falling into your smile… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!.
This drama starts off with so much potential being
very cute & funny, with a sorta original story line. But sadly as the story progresses it turns into a big waste of time. I don’t want to give any spoilers away. But it becomes one stereotypical drama trope after another with a story line that seems insulting to watchers intelligence.

For example … the writers expect us to believe that after the female protagonist finds out the female antagonist setup a situation In order to get naked pics to blackmail the best Friend into tanking the protagonist career … that the female protagonist is not going to be extra carefully and weary around the antagonist? IT MAKES NO SENSE that this female lead wld continue to believe what comes out the villains mouth and would leave critical notebook lying around before her first ever broadcast.

The drama also lacks the satisfaction of seeing swoon worthy romance a towards the end. The couple had more romantic moments when they weren’t dating than when they actually got together, then they break up for really no reason but lack of communication only to reunite in the last 3 minutes with a hug.

Acting is horrible / writing even worse
The acting by this cast is unbearably bad. Especially the male lead. And the acting is made worse by the writers storyline.After watching and loving the Chinese meteor garden and the Korean boys over flowers I had high hopes for another drama of this manga. However this is just awful except for how good looking the cast is.
The best acting is by Gorya & Kavin. The worst acting is by Thyme.
I’m dropping at Episode 5 because Hana’s storyline was so badly written it doesn’t make any sense and Thymes acting was the worst I’ve seen that I just can’t continue.
