I don't understand why the rating is so low

First of all, I almost gave up of starting this drama because I thought it would be a mess since all the reviews are a bit negative. I was surprised. The story is a lot cute, there's the romance, the friendship, the visuals. I missed an OST more powerfull but that's all. The drama is refreshing, and it has a good story, the characters development it is really good, and now I ill point why I think this.
Hye Jun - It is a character who puts a lot of effort in everything he does, if it is his dream, his relationship, his friendships. His relationship with his grandpa is something that worth watch and we can understand through the episodes how he was capable of maintaining his image even after all the scandals people tried to envolve him, it was all because he's really a good person, considerate, someone who values the people around him more than status. His relationship with his dad is a bit problematic but I thought it was enjoyable in the drama too because that's life, who of us never had any misunderstandings on our own families?
Let's talk about Jung Ah, she's someone who suffered a lot because of her mom, she felt abandoned most of her life so she thinks it's better to admire and support someone who is far, someone who will not dissapoint her, I completely understand. Many times in our lives we admire singers, athletes, models, people that as far as they are we think they are amazing, because you know, life gets a little complicated when we know people personally. She choosed the right person, and you know (maybe there will be some spoilers here), I think she did right when she decided to end/postpone a relationship to focus on herself and build her own career, sometimes you have to do this, you have to considerate your feelings more before things just end up ruined. So I think it's delighting the way they meet again years later after both stay more mature, more openly to live their love fully, I think the end of the drama shows it to us too, it's not a sad ending, it's like if they are starting again, but this time being complete on their own, as individuals.
Talking about the other characters I think this is just what happens with Jin u and Hae Na (but I have to say that I missed a better ending for them), and Hae Hyo discovering himself besides his mom influence worth to watch too because it's him getting out of his bubble to draw his own path.
Anyway, I think I was rambling a bit but I have to say, it's a good drama and the bad reviews doesn't define it really well, I enjoyed to watch and recommend it to everyone who wants to watch a simple drama that you can watch with family and have a good feeling about the story in the end.

It doesn't worth the time

It was the worst season of them all. I just caught myself passing through the episodes to reach the end and it doesn't became better. I don't think I'll watch Single's Inferno again if a new season comes in.
Some episodes were like 1h and a half of Gwan Hee talking to girls and just random conversations that were not even interesting, it all revolved around him and it was really tiring to watch because the things were in a surface level that don't make us excited to watch. I should have dropped

A beautiful story about growing up, healing and allow yourself to change

First of all, I saw so many bad reviews about this drama that for a minute I really thought about don't see the second season, now that I finished I have to say, It's childish of you all to think that a kdrama is bad just because your shipp didn't worked, that was just what I thought beautiful about this season, how Jojo allowed herself to change, to like someone else, to grow up despite all the adversities life continue to put on her shoulders.
Yeah, you all are not ready to read this, but that's what happens most part of the time in real life, you don't have a happilly ever after with your school love and that's perfectly ok.
You have to allow yourself to change what you feel sometimes in order to choose what's better to you. And we do this, we love again again and its not easy, as the drama shows beautifully.
I have to say that Jojo's feelings are beautifully portraited too, as she is discovering what to feel, how to feel, how to get out of the bad environment she grew up and how to get rid of the past that disturbed her most part of their life.
Sincerely this would be just a drama in a thousand that I don't botter to write a review about, but the bad ratings annoyed me because it doesn't shows how beautifully the story and the characters evolved and the story were write.
I think second season is even better than the first one, you should try and take your own thoughts about, I am glad I didn't stopped because of the fuss people did just about not having their ship satisfacted, it's really annoying to be honest.
Just try to see the story as the characters are growinp up individuals, not school students, maybe you will like it more. But if even like this you don't like it at all it's okay too, sometimes we just want to forget reality so this drama is not really made to you...

Very emotional, sometimes hard to understand but really really relatable.

I am not an user who usually write reviews but this drama has a weight some of us will feel deep...
Eun Hee's family is something most people with a bigger family will understand. We care about others, we feel their pain, we hide a lot and show a lot, and even if we spend years appart we still are family. We always have things we will want to hide, and we don't really know the person who are living with us, but at the same time we know, by our own perspectives.
Maybe I'm rambling but the story of the drama made me feel really like if it was my family. There's a lot of stories happening all the time, sometimes we discover something but there's so much hidden behind.
I feel myself with my sister at Eun Hee and Eun Woo relationship, they both care about each other but have different ways (very different) to show it, they both love each other but they never say it because it isn't necessary (I think most of us can relate to it to...)
I think I'm not helping too much. But if you wanto to watch the drama, it shows beautifully what a family is about, and what happens if you don't talk or try to hide what you are feeling for a long amount of time. The relationship between their parents feels real, real like my parents and my grandparents, there are things about them just them really know.
I highly reccomend it, it's not about romance but about love.
I hope you can watch it, have fun, worry and most important feel the story like I did, it will worth you time!

Good drama, good history, excelent if it is your first time watching this genre

It will have spoilers (maybe a lot)!
First of all, I've had watched two episodes that I couldn't sleep after, that's the way the drama made me feel, anxious for a conclusion, anxious to discover more and more everytime I finished the episode, and this two episodes were when Park Gun Ho and Lee Dae Chaeol died. I think the first half of the drama is incredible, you are always afraid of what will happen and at some point we really wish the truth will be revelead, we have that human faith that everything will be fine, but just as life is, it will not. But I have to say that after episode 12 things it gets a little messy and when we discover the real culprit of the university student murder, it just gets tiring. From a personal perspective, a lot of things stayed without a proper answer to me, the story behind the family and the murder of detective Oh's dad, how it were the relationship between him and his cousin's family, also in the ending I thought it was unclear if detective Oh had killed detective Nam or just hurted him badly. Plus the wife of the detective that were killed in the church incident, she maybe ended knowing nothing about what really happened to her late husband, and how detective Nam was the culprit of killing his own coworker. I also think she should have knew about how her actions helped kill Lee Dae Chael that were innocent in the end and left his daughter alone...
The chief of Jeonghan's journal death still bothers me a bit because it seemed that he suddently, really suddently felt the guilty for the dead of a man he was responsible to help kill. Even 5 years after Lee Dae Cheol's prision sentence and with a second judgement going on he did nothing and hided proves that could have saved him, he just choosed to uncover it all. I still think about how he (knowing everything from an investigator and reporter view) thought that he killed the detective as he also knew that the result of the autopsy was a knife injury, if not would be certainly asfixia. Also I ask myself why the knife of the student incident dissapeared and appeared in the hands of the chief investigator and they knew nothing about the real culprit?
Despite it all that I have said... I loved the drama and I think the jewel of it is Kang Do Chang , he is a magnificent person, friend, also a leader to all those who work with him and he make even his superiors respect him, he is a human who cares about others and bring problems to his personal life in order to make things better, he is always doing his best.
Oh Ji Hyeok is also amazing, I think (as I said before) it lacked information about him because we can see him suffering mental health problems all the drama but this is not fully explained, like, why his dad died?...
Oh Jong Tae is a degenerated person until the end and I think things were solved for him really fast with a full life sentence but I still thought that, for someone who manipulated so much important people for all those years it lacked something, it all happened really fast in the end...
It is getting really long so I'll just say you have to watch this, it is a really awesome drama and I highly recommend it, I watched really fast and I could sure watch it again to spread the word of korean dramas to my friends!
For all the work team that made this drama happen, thank you!!!

Good story but the end was kind of dissapointing

I will not say much just the necessary. The story captivated me since the beginning and the chemistry between the two protagonists (child and adults) was always on point, that said I think the drama really have a story to be a 16 episodes show. What dissapointed me was that in the end things were solved so fast that it seemed they were rushed to finish.
First, the uncle of Mun-Ha that just admitted his crimes without even think about it, went to jail and that was the end of all the accident story, we didn't saw of something happened with Ji eun's father, if he was caught or not, what happened to her brother, I kind of wanted that he could see that his daughter was the person he killed, and other thing is that the drama shows that his truck was sabotaged and he says that the accidents happened in that magnitude because of the frente system but is just this, it doesn't evolve in anything more.
Second after all this things become faded to end, around episode 10 I was kinda bored because the plot was all solved. The situation in the end was confusing because how can everyone know who she is but not herself, and she just continue doing everything she did before but the principal person of her life that is her mom (the circus uncle) just dissappears of her mind, did she just forget all her infancy? but then how is she in the same place she is today? She cannot say she was with her biological family because their memories were not changed just hers. Also for Cho-won and Mr.Ha, they were all the story saying they could not be together and then one episode they simple forget everything and start being a couple, I was passed with this because there were no development of their characters to arrive in this point of their relationship.
And for the last part I think that it lacked a lot of informatiom about Min-gi and Han-na characters, in the end we continue not knowing who Min-gi is, just that he was someone that was in his 23rd life. Is he still a shaman? Maybe a guide that take other souls that are suffering to complete their journey? We will never know.
.
But despite me over analyzing things it is a good drama. To be honest the soundtrack was what catched my eyes (or ears) first. I heard Colde's music Star on YouTube and that was how I came to see the drama. It is a good story to pass the time, it's new, fresh and kinda cute. I recommend you to watch and take your own conclusions.
