I Need Romance Three Saved the Series

So, as the headline says, this is really the only installment to watch in this series, which is probably why the writer ended the series with this one. The first two installments are infuriating to watch. Seriously, genuinely hard to get through. I cannot speak for all viewers, but I am not sure what you call the sub-genre of romance dramas where they deep dive into the romance and then the awful and painful breakups of a couple. I would put this series on the same shelf as the Reply series, as the female lead (FL) will eventually have to make a decision. Try something new or go back to what you know.

I get that noona romances are not for everyone, but Kim So Yeon is exceptional in this drama. She portrays the FL in a way where you can root for her, notice the flaws and mistakes without completely hating her. I also like how the second female lead is multi-dimensional. It is so easy to watch a drama and choose, this is the one I like and this is the one I don't. She does a good job of being the antagonist but she humanizes the character where you feel empathy for her as well. Sung Hoon is also a standout. Prior to watching this drama, I had only seen him in Flower Boy Band and Can We Get Married before this, and his acting was quite good. He had great chemistry with KSY. They turn this complicated love triangle into a cute, romantic drama that is enjoyable enough to leave quite an impression on you and leave you wanting to re-watch in the future.
