Annoying female lead

Pope carries the whole show. He is a joy to watch and he really plays his part well. And the little boy who plays the son of the the gang bossis a delight to watch too. His little side story about his relationship with his dad is funny yet heartwarming. Khun Prathom is also another likeable character but he's still a minor one. Other than that, this show is not worth the time to spend 1hr 50 mins on each episode.

Main weakness of the show has got to be the characterisation of the female lead. Totally hopeless, petty and whiny. She treats the male lead like he is a child when she is the one who behaves like one. And after what he has gone through to help her understand her fate, she goes back on her words and do exactly what she has promised to not do if he is succeessful.

There is no character development of the female lead throughout the 13 episodes. She claims that she wants to be strong so that her underlings will have respect for her, but all I see is this damsel in distress sulking and pouting when things don't go her way. Running away from her problems till the male lead comes to the rescue but to either get blamed or has his heart broken in the end.

And the plot of the show just gets repetitive towards the middle of the series. While it does pick up the pace in the last 3 episodes, the female lead character just makes the show a drag to watch. The lack of chemistry between Pope and Mew is also very obvious to me. There are very little scenes showing them falling in love and during those scenes, you don't get the romamtic connection between the two characters.

I watched it till the end, with lots of fast forward, was for the sake of Pope's performance and also I am a sucker for closure.
