The War for Power!

At first, I was expecting low quality with cheap costumes and sets. Thats completely the opposite of what we got.

First of all, Lusis acting has expanded so much! I was so suprised to see her in the later episodes playing a serious, deadly character. Yang yang also has improved a lot. You can tell from his eyes in some of the scenes how much he loves the FL.

The story was a bit weird paced. I liked the government politics at the start, but it started dragging a bit. The last coupe of episodes really picked up though. I was happy to see action and fighting scenes.

I just hate the dubbing though. I have always hated dubbing, from the very start. As soon as I started watching the show, I could hear a bunch of other characters speaking.

Very high production drama, with elaborate sets and gorgeous, detailed costumes. Very well done in that perspective.

I also love the character development here. All the characters changed, some turned better and some turned worse. I love how they kept the actual antagonists in disguise until the end.

Over all I am very pleased with this film, and I am looking forward to see more of Yang yang and Zhaolusis dramas.

Good drama to watch occasionally

This drama was truly an emotional rollercoaster for me. From waiting 2 years to finally finishing it, I have not been let down from the plot or acting. It's my first time watching a XiaoZhan drama, and I am quite suprised by his acting. He showed emotion very well, and his eyes were extremely expressive.

The music though, it was amazing. All the songs sung by the leads, it felt so romantic. Yang zi has such a sweet voice and Xiao Zhan had had deeper side creating the perfect combination.

This is a nice drama to just sit down and watch when you are free. It was not anything extremely special that I was thinking about 24/7, like You Are My Glory for instance. When I was watching You Are My Glory, I would think about it like my life depended on it. The Oath of Love was not the same experiance. I watched with passion during the minutes watching it, and I was able to continue my life afterwards with the thought of it spinning in my head.

Beautiful and gentle, with lots of love and girl power

At first, I only watched for Liu yifei since she has not acted in a drama for a while. Turns out I ended loving everyone in it. Acting is superb and I really could feel each character evolve in their own ways. For example, Yingzhang, jelly lins character went from a naughty, naive little girl to a strong women that was not afraid to face her fears.

I enjoy that the story not only focuses on romance, but also sisterhood and friendship, how valuable that is.

I love the backstory of each character, how they really carve in every little detail. Like sanniangs characters family life and how her son was a bit naughty. The sets are also very very well done. Breathtaking and detailed. Love that the story also included much about girls, and how mistreated they were. Underlooked and neglected.

The music is splendid, caning and the lyrics are heart touching.

Overall, this is really a dream of splendor.

Every drama watcher needs to watch this, period.

This drama was great and had exceeded my expectations. I was expecting only loads of sugar, with no touch of life and struggles added in, but we did get that too.

The layout of the story was the only thing I wasn't too happy about. Sometimes it dragged a bit and the episodes were around 35 minutes long- 10 minutes shorter then the average drama episode

The acting was great, both dilraba and Yang yang did very well this time. I have to praise the actresses playing her manager and assistant the most though. The acting was very convincing for their roles.

Ost was nice too, songs that would help you wind down at the end of the day with a catchy rhythm. Liuyuning also sang it, so no explaining needed.

The overall aesthetic was pleasing too look at and gave a cozy atmosphere to the screen. This is a great drama that I will be rewatching multiple times.

My favourite KDRAMA couple pairing in a LONG LONG time :)

This drama was so good until episode 11. I thought it would just get better and better... BOY WAS I WRONG haha. The plot at the end was like throwing every ingredient into a sandwich, too messy and I couldn't even taste any ingredient. Toooooo messy for me. The bad guys are made to almost be like these invincible unstoppable characters and I hate how dumb it makes the lead characters look. Other than the plot, everything else was SO DARN GOOD.

I am so impressed by the acting. I find it so impressive how KSH and KJW can manage to keep the viewers hooked even with this gosh terrible script LOL. Their chemistry is great, very realistic and I think the emotional scenes were done very well. The side characters were great too!

OST was my favourite KDRAMA OST. I love it so much, the instrumental accompanied by the voices of the singers gave me chills, and it was just SO beautiful. My favourite song is Can't get over you by Paul Kim, such a lovely song!!!

In summary, OST was great, acting was phenomenal, and the plot was absolutely spectacular at first but then watered a bit. However, I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this drama, the rewatch rate is just low cuz too many tears TT.

Check this drama out if you want to watch an acting masterpiece, gorgeous cinematography, and if you want to shed some tears.
