I don't even know

I had such high hopes for this kdrama. The clips I had seen made it look so interesting but what even was that. I found myself dreading every episode yet hoping it'd get better. But it didn't and I didn't want to stick around for the rest.

The storyline was trying to make fetch happen (if you know what I mean). The beginning was good and I liked both ML and FL but why did they even get together? It made no sense. The only thing they had in common was that they both got cheated on. I don't think that's good for a lasting relationship. And the SML and SFL were straight up ANNOYING!!

A Delightful Drama with a Dash of Frustration: "Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling"

If you're looking for a good drama to sink your teeth into, "Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling" is definitely worth checking out. Personally, I found it to be an enjoyable watch with a few quirks that added both charm and frustration to the storyline.

One of the highlights of the drama is the lead characters. Their performances truly shine, and I found myself rooting for them throughout. However, I must admit that the female lead (FL) had her moments of stubbornness, occasionally opting for the frustrating "radio silence" approach. It was enough to give the poor young man in the story a few unnecessary heart attacks. Nonetheless, their chemistry is undeniable, and their interactions kept me engaged.

The story progression is another strong point. It strikes a good balance between being neither too fast nor too slow. This allows the plot to unfold naturally, keeping the viewer hooked without overwhelming them. I appreciated this well-paced narrative approach, as it provided ample time for character development and emotional depth.

Now, let's talk about the Gu family (excluding the FL). Prepare yourself, as you'll likely find yourself harboring an intense dislike for them. Never before have I hated an entire fictional family the way I hated the Gu's. Each member seemed to lack redeeming qualities, and their mere presence on screen became an annoyance. Gu Xin'er, in particular, really pushed my buttons. Kudos to the show's creators for crafting such compelling antagonists that evoke such strong emotions from the audience.

There was one aspect that didn't quite sit right with me, though. Xin'er's decision to wait for a that guy who had LITERALLY ATTEMPTED MURDER struck me as questionable. The drama seemed to downplay his actions, chalking them up to mere spoiling. This choice left me feeling a bit uneasy, as I hoped for more consequences of one's action storyline.

This remains an overall enjoyable drama. The chemistry between the main leads is undeniably electric, and their performances left me eagerly anticipating their future projects. If you're looking for a series that strikes a good balance between romance, drama, and a touch of frustration, I definitely recommend giving this one a watch.
