QUEEN

Ok so for the first time EVER I am reviewing a show I haven't completed and that's because I can't even deal anymore!
Apparently 6-8 haven't been subbed yet(Taking FAR TOO LONG if you ask me) lol ANYWAY so I'm only going to review 1-5 and will come back and edit for my completed thoughts...
Most important thing to know....If you're not a die hard Queen fan GTFO cause you're in the wrong place!! I haven't even finished the show and from ep1 I knew I was head over heals just cause the music.lol But enough about the obvious...The actors are pretty convincing, I'm impressed by the level of comedy, mellowness and rage everyone can pull off without even really needing to say anything all while throwing good points. The show so far will make you a taste the bitterness of being gay in the Asian community while testing true friendship and love.
That's all for now I'll continue when I can say I've completed the show in sub...
*EDIT*
FINALLY, was able to find/watch the last episode and I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Definitely wasn't basic at all (refreshing change) and the story is a bit of a heart ache but in all the right ways.
Enjoy...

Couldn't help but watch

Through the "tear jerker" warnings, I forced myself to watch this and I'm so glad I did. I honestly feel like this could've been a comedy in some parts. There were some cute and quirky moments I just felt made the series more lovable than sad with all the happy energy from our MC. Overall, it's an amazing series with a cute cast and heartfelt story that is greatly enjoyable. Death is inevitable but if it comes after we've been able to experience life's little sweet gifts, I feel it makes it so much more bearable.
Enjoy!

K-Drama City

Looking for something cute and fluffy? You've come to the right place! Looking for something different from the typical K-Drama scene? TURN BACK!
Idk how I found this series and it's not even that it's bad, it's just so.... predictable? The MCs seemed to have good chemistry so that made the story flow well but the plot was kinda eh. A God falling in love with a human is pretty standard at this point BUT the series over all was good. There were loads of quirky silly moments and I think everyone got appropriate screen time. I think the ending was kinda thrown together and even though it was cute, I feel something was missing. I liked the side characters a bit more but only cause they brought much needed amusing chaos lol
Enjoy.

Thorough Enjoyment

This series may be short, but don't let that stop you from getting a cute and fluffy BL fix . You can't go wrong with a Japanese BL and here was no acception. The name may sound a bit strange but it'll make sense down the road lol
I highly recommend even though a few times it gave me anxiety and had room for more detail/content that I didn't get. It has a good story with a cute cast and without any unnecessary drama to make it stretched out. Short, sweet and to the point but relatable.

MMMMM GOOD!

I'm obviously here for Jaehyun, but I quickly became infatuated with the entire cast! I had this on my PTWL for awhile but once I started I binge watched tf outta it. Lol
The entire cast was spot on ranging from visuals to nailing their characters flaws and strengths. There's relatable content and characters you're gonna love to hate. It was nice change of pace to get a solid college campus drama. The romance was so sweet I almost became diabetic myself (drama reference). My only negative comment is some of it was visible a mile away but yet still enjoyable.
I'm glad this show didn't get cancelled and I recommend to anyone especially those who's into romance.
Enjoy ...

P.S. if you enjoy the series I recommend checking out the K-Pop group NCT

Lee Jong Suk

This series has been on my PTWL for awhile and legit I forgot about it. Suddenly I decided to watch something different and I definitely got what I was searching for and more! Of course, I thought this series would be a cute fluffy typical K-drama romance but it quickly became something I couldn't put down. The cast were filled with all the drama, visuals and personality you could hope for. I was internally kicking and screaming so much because it was so emotionally intense.
I don't watch the news or get involved in politics strictly because of what this series revolves around...liars! I cant stomach seeing/hearing any of it because I don't know what to believe. I never considered how much work truly goes into being a reporter, so I have a new found respect for that.
I highly recommend this series for it's all around outlook and of course the romance (our MCs won't disappoint you)
Enjoy....

Cute But Messy

To start this fiasco, I'm gonna say I'm ZeeSaint all the way BUT ZeeNew was satisfying...in the romance department.
Anyway, other than the romance this was crazy toxic! Everything would be going smooth and something so simple would blow everything out of proportion and they'd start over (in the same episode) lmao. When it was cute it was super cheesy and sweet but when it was bad, it didn't take much to bring it down. I wanted more from the side couples but I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. I saw quite a few familiar faces and the new ones were just as cute :)
The rating I'm giving is strictly cause of the romance and visuals. I'd recommend if you want some dramatic romance, but if you're looking for something wholesome TURN BACK! I had a really hard time getting over the back and forth love hate bratty whiny attitude from specifically our MC.
The ending had me blushing and internally screaming!!!
Enjoy...

WTFITS

Ok ok so I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea what I was expecting and I'm not sure if I found it. I'm giving this a solid 7 because it had me f***ed up on several occasions with good, bad and ugly emotions. lol
The MC aggravated me quite frequently with his overreacting and unnecessary outbursts of anger about EVERYTHING. I don't think this series needed 16eps/ 1hr 1/2 long eps to get it's point across. It got a little boring in the middle and seemed to continue yet not progress.
Overall this isn't the series for you if you want lots of intimacy. This isn't just about romance or even the struggles for LGBTQ+ people in the world. It's about cherishing all loved ones, forgiving others and most importantly, learning to love yourself. You're not alone and there's more to life than what you're forced to believe or see.
Side note: Legit I spent most of this series asking myself : "What The F*** Is This $***?!"
Enjoy...

More!

I came here for Lee Soo Hyuk and ended with so much more! I waited for the series to end before I watched cause I knew I'd get hooked, and I didn't lie to myself. This series was awesome. The whole cast brought life to this death parade and I'd highly recommend to any and all. I always appreciate a strong female lead and here was no exception. Ms. Koo lights fire to every scene and I was obsessed with her character cause I see a lot of myself in her. There's a good balance of comedy mixed in with all the tears you'll probably shed. I think the series ended well, but I wouldn't turn away a S2!
Suicide is a serious matter all over the world and I love that someone was creative enough to shine a special kind of light on the subject to make each episode a learning and heart felt experience.

Blood Boiling

The name alone caught me off guard so I dove into this series thinking I knew what I was getting into... I was wrong! This series is INCREDIBLY detailed about everything from the bullying to the blood. It's so sad that this is real situations (not based on TS I hope) but everyday people are bullied for every tiny thing you can imagine and even though I felt negative feelings through most of this series I couldn't stop watching, The acting was on point with all the right emotions for this disaster stricken festival. Not for the faint heart and obviously not family friendly.
I was never a victim but as a parent this just makes me even more fearful to continue to have my child in school. I highly recommend just for the thrill of what you think will happen. The ending had me in my feels legit

Recommend

When the series starts it gives the obvious friends to lovers vibe but it becomes so much more than that! It's not an original story but it's not something overplayed either. Visuals all around and all the characters are enjoyable and bring their own flare to the series. Whether it's unbreakable friendships, being a sports fanatic or even understanding when you're in the wrong, there's something everyone can relate to here. The side couples tend to be my fav but usually don't get the screen time they deserve but YMS gave everyone the attention their story needed without any unnecessary drama that affected the storyline and without an abrupt ending. It's not my fav BL but it deserves all the love it's getting.

Alright Alright Alright

We all know S2 in BL World is risky business because it only goes 2 ways: Terrible or Tremendous. Awkwardly, I found this S2 stuck right in the middle and not too bad. Definitely not something I'd re-watch or recommend but worth the watch (following S1 of course). I think I liked this season more lol There were some sloth slow moments and some emotional roller coaster moments to give it a pretty balanced averageness. Visuals were pretty good and I think the last episode was the best (NO not because it was finally over) but because honestly, I feel everything ended in a pretty realistic and logical way that you can't really argue with.
Enjoy...
P.S. Close call, the ending gave me a twitch and I almost threw my computer LMAO

Steady

I saw a few comments that this movie was slow but I don't think so. It didn't jump in but it didn't drag it out either. I thought it was an even pace. I enjoyed it more than I thought cause it wasn't some random story that was too cliché or cheesy, it was realistic. No matter where you go people will talk and the only thing you can do is remove yourself from that toxicity. I had a few different emotions which tapped into the realism of the story. It's not something I'd recommend cause this theme isn't for everybody but it's not something I'd turn away either. If you're looking for lust you won't find it here! The little girl was an amazing actor and so cute. Just like in any household, I'm sure it's tricky for all parties growing up with homosexual parent(s). I hope more people can learn that even if YOU don't understand what it's like, hurting others won't make it anymore understandable.

Don't Blink

I started this series only a few months after its completion and honestly, it took me longer than I care to admit to finish it. I love psycho thrillers but holy poop this was stressful. This is definitely a series you can't blink through or you'll miss something! Everything somehow, kinda, not really, sometimes ties into itself leaving you hot glued to the question "WTF IS HAPPENING?!" Imagine a roller coaster and every loop, turn and hill is a different plot... that roller coaster is "Mouse". It's a great series that I'd recommend to any serial killer buff but its flaw for me was it was either super intense or super boring which made it take so long to finish. I kept having to take breaks. Anyway, I loved the acting and the music fit perfectly. Kinda sad it's over and I didn't get the ending I wanted (idk what I wanted honestly) but it was probably the most realistic ending for such a theme.
As a mother, a couple of parts hit me in the feels but I enjoyed the emotions.

Gameplay!

Honestly, I'm only here for my little cupcake Gameplay. lol I wish this series would've been longer to bring out the obvious loss of story that would leave a few questions. I'd like a S2 but I'm fine with the ending I got. This series is more a 'behind the scenes' of the BL industry actors so I enjoyed it wasn't too basic/cliché. It kinda went down the typical 'it has to be this way' road but it didn't negatively impact much. Gameplay and fellow main characters did pretty well but I think a bit of the side characters and their stories were unnecessary and the constant aimless babel caused me to skip those random bits and pieces. As an experienced BL fan, I'd recommend to a BL newbie or someone who wants a bit of a different story. Not my favourite series by any stretch but it wasn't too bad.
I think I'm just used to seeing Gameplay with Jeff so I think he belongs with him before any other coupling.
Enjoy...
