Most Realistic | Relatable drama EVER

Jung Hae In's portrayal of his character was absolutely mesmerizing. We were shocked to hear that he "struggled" to get into character (or so he thinks). We struggle to think of any way in which he could have been any better. He did it brilliantly.
We've lost count of how many times we've watched this drama and we aren't going to stop anytime soon.
The story is so well written.
We are seeing a lot of people watching these type of dramas and not understanding it or interpreting it incorrectly.
Han Ji Min's portrayal of Lee Jung In was also done brilliantly. And NO she did not cheat. She "cheated" after calling off their relationship two to three times already.
This is what happens when your family decides who you marry and who not. You partner thinks whatever you say can be ignored.
She told him they should end it and he even agreed after a few times only to go back to his ways because of Yoo Ji Ho.
The whole journey was just emotional, but so real and it just could not have been done better.
The OST is also truly beautiful.

THIS IS A STUDENT/TEACHER DRAMA | DON'T WATCH IF YOU'RE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT

Unfortunately, viewers are giving the drama bad ratings because of the type of story it contains.
But this doesn't make sense, because from the description you can think that it'll contain something in that regard.

This is a beautiful story come to life by great acting. This is a Student/Teacher story, BUT NOT inappropriate at all in our eyes. We interpreted it as them having mutual respect for each other and love for math whilst in school. Please do give it a try, BUT only if you're comfortable with this type of relationship. We're not going to give spoilers. We will however say that this was a hidden gem we're glad we discovered.

Our favorite BL of all time.

We thank the production team every single time for the sixteen episodes that it contain when we rewatch it.
Such a beautifully written coming of age story (especially one part in the story that is shown so beautifully).
It's fluffy and genuine. Noh Shin Woo is probably one of our most favorite lead characters ever.
Same with Namgoong Shiwoon. Way at the top of the list of awesome side characters.
Everyone needs someone like him in their lives to brighten their day.
The OST is beautiful and the acting is sweet. The High School trope will always be one that we adore and Light On Me reminded us once again why.

Drama blue prints are made of this

Mr Queen has everything that makes a drama; you will laugh until your belly ache, you will cry, you will get angry, you will have anxiety, and there is moments of disbelieve. This all is then rounded off with a bitter sweet ending. Nothing could have been done better! We are a firm believer that the cast made this drama what it is. No one else could have done a better portrayal of the characters. The OST is perfect. It's a drama we can binge watch everyday. If you love Joseon era and comedies, you'll enjoy this drama. What stood out for us was the storyline. There is none other like it. We hope you do give this drama a chance. It's the best binge watching you'll ever do.

This is what perfection looks like!!!!

DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DON'T LIKE SAD ENDINGS!!!!
This drama broke us and made us whole again... We didn't know that this would become one of our favorite dramas of all time and it's BECAUSE of the ending. It was raw and it was real. This is one of the only dramas that could get this right in our opinion. Others have tried the same sort of route, but it fell flat because it felt unnecessary, etc. Here it added value to the story. In our unpopular opinion - this story would not have been the same if it ended the way everyone wanted. We cried ourselves to sleep and probably for a week thereafter. We've rewatched it a couple of times as well. It was so beautifully written. The character development was done brilliantly as well. The OST didn't help either. It added to the emotional turmoil that was this story. BUT once again it was done PERFECTLY. We have yet to find a story that can play our emotions and deserve it like this one.

One of the best and most underrated bromances

It was everything! The story kept you on edge, and the acting from both ML's were so good. We were introduced to Yeo Jin-goo through this drama and have since almost watched all of his works. Such an awesome actor. The story keeps you guessing until the very end and it's worth it. The last two to three episodes will spike your anxiety, and then give you a bittersweet ending.
We will say that not everything may seem as it is with Han Joo Won (in a good way).
He honestly does everything because he works by the books.
In the start, we thought he was either working with his father or had it in for Lee Dong Shik.
The OST was also brilliantly done. It only adds to the emotions.

This series will let you rethink your life | You will get nostalgic

Basically, a retelling of the American movie 17 again.
However, because it's a series and not a movie, they could go more in death with the story. We loved that.
The moments that the ML spends with his kids are some of the most heart breaking.
This is the first drama we saw starting the FL. She did a great job.
As expected, Lee Do-hyun did a great job with this portrayal of Baek Seung Yoo.
There are some funny, some uncomfortable, and some romantic moments to look forward to. But all in all, very entertaining.
This story shows that communication is such an important part in any relationship.
