WARNING: SPOILER!!! Disclaimer: If you like very melodramatic and fast-paced dramas, this might not be your cup of tea. Still, give this a try! This is a feel-good drama that develops each character into a relatable friend. The beauty of slower paced dramas is that you feel as if you're growing with the characters. You grow with the small little details that occur in their day, and most of all, the situations each character encounter are generally realistic. Unlike melodramas which have an unrealistic and overdramatic storyline (don't get me wrong, I like them), Age of Youth will find a special place in you. I really like that all five main characters were equally stressed in the storyline; regular dramas seem to only focus on two or three characters max, so this was a nice relief. If I could change just one thing in this drama, it would be to extend the last episode or add a few more episodes showing how their characters developed a decade into the future. There was this one scene where the five girls were sitting at the kitchen table talking about how they envisioned their lives to be in ten years. How beautiful would it have been seeing a sisterhood reunited years after separation and growth?
