The first two episodes of this drama (apart from the opening scene) had the exact same feeling and humour as Ancient Detective. You could place Wei Wuxian, his donkey, his flute, and his zombie inside Ancient Detective and they would be right at home there, minus the sorcery, that is.

Both have undercover agents trying to dismantle criminal organizations. Both have children with absent parents. Both have romance.... though it's very subtle in Stealth Walker.

The Korean version of the Gender-bender academic scholar genre. Both have a female posing as a male in honour of their brother.

I actually thought this was a remake of MSG. They have some scenes that are almost exactly the same.

Dear Diary and ZGSSBGXQ both feature ML that resemble one another quite a bit in both looks and personality. The humour is similar at times, even though there is no time travel element in ZGSSBGXQ, the humour is all modern satire.

The first episode had a demon reverse exorcism. There is also an attempted human sacrifice for rain.

Self-explanatory, this is season one of the series. If you are going to watch season 2, you might as well watch season one first. I don't even think season 2 has English subs yet.

Very similar kind of slapstick, broad humour used for both of these dramas. LSI has a lot more serious scenes and concepts to the story, but the zany, irrelevant humour is very similar.
