First of all I would to mention that I'm not a fan of SWDBS.I only like two types of men. One is MinHyuk and other one is ShiOh. So if you’re some moral police you can skip this review.This drama is about "save the world" trope which isn’t my type. The whole drug plot is weak and dragged out.The mom has more plot than the FL. There are so many frontal shoots of her walking in slow motion in fancy dresses. I cringe everytime she's in her "badass" look. Also it's hard to focus on her face because of the botox. It's really hard to root for her when she has more empathy for a random girl who tried to kill her daughter than her son.
The ML and FL interaction are just boring. They feel more like a honest police uncle and a lost child than a couple I want to ship.
FL was too childlike and goofy. I'm going to ignore the ML because even writers did it to him. He adds nothing to the plot.
I know It's bad when I'm more interested in the villain and hoping he would somehow end up with the FL.It's not because of the fact he's handsome.
It's because his two minutes interaction with FL is the most gripping part of the drama. Yes, this actor's beauty is out of the world but but he also stands his ground in terms of performing. I love that he can be a cruel monster to everyone but a literal gentleman with girl he like.
A red flag is used in a context of human relationships and he always treated namsoon well since the beginning. There were no "red flag moment" in the relationship he had with namsoon.
It was such a poorly written drama but it gave us a memorable character.

Don't like it just because you pity her
First of all the actors are great. This drama was very good in the beginning but it lost it's charmI binged watch it though it's not my genre.The cases were very intriguing and Her way of solving the cases were amazing, it was actually extraordinary. But after episode 9, something was lacking and after episode 11, everything became dull. The cases aren't interesting anymore. Now the MOST celebrated character from the show ,The male lead,His screen time is as less as my patience. I didn't even understand from when he started to like the female lead. People rave about the "green flag" thing only because he likes a girl with autism. I mean he's not bad. He's like any other kdrama male lead. And their love story and the "cat talk" was pretty unrealistic.

Time to bid adieu
If the whole word is against Gil Chae,I'm siding with the whole word. Most of the viewers didn’t like her. When I was watching ep 4, I thought she was strong even if she has the characteristics of a negative character. I still think she's strong but unlikable.I liked the character development in Jang Hyun's character.
Eun Ae is more likeable than Gil Chae.
I hope Yeon joon dies dog's death. I don’t have any problem with negative characters. But characters like Yeon Joon who pretend to be upright and equitable but in reality they're vicious. I detest him and this type of people.
The story was overall good but it isn’t thr genre I expected it to be.As I'm not even starting part 2, I can't recommend it.

Loose Cannon!?
First of all,The only good aspect of this drama are the main leads and their excessive lavish set. But even they couldn’t save this drama. This drama is compared with two famous kdramas Apparently they have the same storyline This is what people says but I don’t agree. I usually like kdrama clichés. But this drama is just not IT. Supporting characters are not that much entertaining. FL's friend with her junior looked so mismatched. The other friend stayed with her jerk husband. And the way they made fun of Sangsik's look even in the last episode to create a funny sequence which was not funny at all. And the family cliché which was not bizarre. Down in the Dumps
As a romcom and fantasy lover I was disappointedLike It's not bad but It's definitely overhyped maybe because the lead characters were played by two popular actors.
I always prefer rich female character but this female lead just ain't it. I can like bratty character.
But She's loud and dramatic for no reason. And her famous rap scene is just a headache. I don’t usually dislike female characters but She's just not my type at all.
People wants to declare just anything as Classic so bad.

This is what a drama should be
At first I would like to thank the yt creator who made a mv of this drama . I watched this drama after watching that mv,It was my first kdrama and Now I'm a regular watcher of Kdramas .Then I want to thank the writer for this drama . I can't even explain how much I'm in love with this drama especially with the character KO MOON YOUNG . I like everything about her. Her talking style, dresses,way of eating, writing,her sarcasm and her cursing too . She's an icon. Other casts were also good but she outshined everybody. I also like KSH performance.After watching his acting in this drama I can get it now why he's the highest paid actor . In other countries drama I thought only the lead characters were important but kdrama change my this perspective. NOT A ROMCOM
Is it a romcom or melodrama?Both the ML and FL were confused about their exes until the last moment. FL seemed desperate. I can understand it was her long term relationship.But she saw her ex cheating and on the top of that she was blamed by him for not believing him.She still wanted to get back with him,wanted his attention,didn’t eat for him,got rejected again and again.After all this she still wanted to be friends with him. Now about the ML, he was not the best but still pretty decent.His ex had self victimization syndrome.She was the one who was twotiming still had the audacity to blame others. This is the first romcom kdrama where the supporting characters were also irritating. The married couple should seriously divorce. The story of the office couple is decent but lacks execution. FL lead's sister and that guy was the only interesting part of this drama. But their story also got ruined.Overall this isn’t something new.This is the worst version of every romcom out there. Slow as hell
I don't like cdramas much because of its dragging nature but this drama broke all records. At first it was pretty good.But I didn't know this drama will not have any progression. Literally zero progression. There is no difference between first and 11th ep. The story is just moving round and round.And I hate female lead's mother who's shown as a noble character. She's two faced.She couldn’t care less about her own daughter but is showing affection to other people's daughter. I can't stand her holier than thou ass. She's one of the major reason I'm dropping this.
But I must say the female is pretty. Her hairstyle really suits her and the acting is like any other cdrama's acting level. I can't say anything about the male lead because they didn’t even show him that much. So if you are patient enough, watch this slow poison.

Really Underrated??
This drama proves not every drama which are not famous are underrated. I know this will still be underrated masterpiece for some people.The initial episodes were really good. I liked this drama more than other ongoing drama. But it went downhill from episode five. The limited supporting characters were not impactful at all.
It's important to advocate that the problems of the story or the characters didn't lie with the actors.
Now if we talk about the story, The 2nd female lead isn't fully in wrong. Male lead was giving her all the signals. But yes,even if we justify her actions we can't deny that she was a irritating character. Lastly the sad ending didn't feel sad at all. The ending felt abrupt and insignificant.

The only thing I liked:ML didn’t go to other girls to make FL jealous.
If this drama was from any other industry, they would make good use of the kids. But in this drama they didn’t have any screentime
Now about the story:
ML fall in love with her at first sight but the only thing he could think of was sleeping with her.Why? because he thought she was a prostitute.Now he can't date her but he can r@pe her.The FL is also not very smart.She slept with him for the 2nd time and got pregnant again.
The ML approached her family.Her stupid father let the man stay in their house who haunted his daughter. Meanwhile the female lead rejected a fine man who was interested in her to get with the manchild ML.
And about the supporting cast,
they show the legal wife of male lead's father as the main vamp.His mother was the mistress and his father cheated .How can she be the vamp?Morever his father that goldigger inherited the legal wife's property and business.
Overall it wasn’t my type.Infact lakorns aren’t my type but this was better than many lakorns out there.
