You don't need to watch the other season to understand

So overall, the show was pretty good, glad to see the female lead isn't here even if some people didn't really like that bit (but as someone who doesn't really watch heterosexual shows as much anymore, I can't say anything, the Shinju and Yoori was great though). Anyway, the humor was so SOOOOO !!!!!! The way you don't have to watch the first season to understand. But it's definitely a bit good to watch the first one for a little more understanding with the two brothers.

Anyway, amazing cast (obviously, let's be real, I'm not getting over Jaeyoo). I don't think I'll ever forget about Kim Beom and Dongwook. Like.. Ever.

But that thing with the mermaid and Rang. Maybe it's because they needed him to understand love, but let's be real, he could've been better off by himself. I guess it's just my opinion. Rang's oblivion was really cute to watch, though. I enjoyed that bit because of course he'd be the type to be completely clueless. I just didn't really feel it too much, but I guess it's not the worst compared to many other things I've seen (You could tell if you've watched HIStory)

Also, Kiss The Rain by THAMA was so good like I actually wow. I really liked that song and I don't know why, it really fits and I just like the song in general. That's literally all I have to say for it.

I'd definitely watch again (already did like four times).

Give Jiwoo a hug! Let's understand him.

So, I've seen how people are kind of like trashing on Jiwoo because of what he did to Seojoon. It's understandable, and it's not very nice because, you know - he kind of just went AWOL without telling Seojoon why or what he did (it wasn't Seojoon's fault, anyway).

So, why did Jiwoo leave? In my perspective, I personally felt like he was insecure. He had trauma from his past lover, and obviously, they didn't end well together. Jiwoo had kept it to himself because he didn't want to be Seojoon's burden (with the guy already having busy schedules). Jiwoo's pretty much a pessimist, I think it was shown during the show (but I haven't watched it in a hot second and writing this months after I watched).

Jiwoo's afraid that Seojoon would leave him eventually, like how his ex did. Like he was afraid that Seojoon would finally realize how boring he was (he's not) and leave him, so with this plaguing his mind for a good year was probably tiring. And so he breaks up with Seojoon and ran away because he wanted to protect himself from the larger pain of when Seojoon does end up breaking his heart.

He's just trying to protect himself before it happens even if it won't because he doesn't know the future, he's insecure, he's negative about it, and he just wants to push himself away before it's too late.

So obviously, Seojoon finds him and brings him back and reassures him about it. Like it's fine. Anyway, thanks for reading through my little rant, I just wanna go give him a hug.

Such a cute show (worth everything)

Well, what can I say? (Except you're welcome, I'm so sorry) It was so fun and incredibly adorable, I read the Manhwa before watching the show and I can't say that I'm disappointed in any way. They were pretty good at showing the characters and used the scenes from the Manhwa (which, I always love that).

How Yoon Do Jin played Yechan in such a perfect way, he was so adorable for the entire show (like can someone please, I can't stop squealing). And how Do Won played such a difficult character, he showed a lot with just how he looks. The way he smiles and then just suddenly drops it when seeing something.

And the OST!!! Coldin will forever be in my heart since Semantic Error and after this show, seriously, nothing of his OSTs can go wrong. Romantic Devil was such a hit (Imo) and this song is so upbeat and happy I burst

So..

When's season 2? (Lmao)

It was good, but... what happened to the end?

It was pretty good, over all. But like most KBLs, they usually start with a bang and end with.. nothing that good. I mean, I haven't seen Friends to Lovers for a really long time because the majority really like the Enemies to Lovers but I won't compare them.

I like the cast, they're cute, and their acting was pretty good. It's pretty low budget but it's pretty well-made.

And then there's the ending to which.. what happened to Hanjoon's mom and Yoojae's parents? They just aren't going to elaborate on it? I mean I guess they solved it because they're together and they'll push through. But neither of them told each other of their situation, like.. at all. Yoojae just gave him the ring and then happily ever after.

Love doesn't actually solve everything like what almost every show says, but they should've at least elaborated on the very last conflict or didn't involve it at all. They could've done 7 episodes and fit in the ring part and left out the drama at the end and saved some money..

But anyway, it was a good show and if there's a season 2, maybe they'll make up for it because the ending seemed pretty sudden.

Rant? Yeah, I think so too.

OKAY honest opinion? BohnDuen? Not the best, I didn't really like them like I did in the beginning, I've rewatched this show MANY times and still can't get past episode one (which is actually just an episode filling in the main characters). The first time watching the show it was great and amazing, but after episode 5? Turn off.

My reason for this is that.. well, BohnDuen literally basically got together on episode 5! Okay? Sure, I guess... but then, there are 14 episodes in the show. So like, where's the rest of the 9 episodes going? Mmm, I dunno~ maybe probably filler episodes because THEY REPEATED THE SAME PATTERN OVER AND OVER?

I mean sure, they're great and stuff, no hate to the actors here because it's not in their choice with the script, but BohnDuen did the SAME THING every episode from then on (more or less). Bohn would be jealous, Duen would just apologize and all good? Like, where is this communication coming from? Like dang, do you not have any trust to your bf?

- Ram King (aka the loves of my life) -

RamKing? AMAZING. Okay? Don't argue with me here. I wished they had more screen time because I end up skipping 90% of the show because of BohnDuen. But their plot is something else, unlike the main couple, they actually do stuff, they actually do different things and have different plots.

King, a loud person interested in plants and weird things, stumble upon a quiet guy who likes dogs. King = loud like a dog and Ram = quiet like a plant, unique and weird like plants. King is so interested in plants that it covers his walls in his condo, he loves plants so by habit, he looks into Ram more than anyone else because he's similar to a plant in some metaphorical way.

Already, they look like a great match because of their interests and likes. This plot is LITERALLY telling us they're a perfect fit.

So, well, Ram finds out about his dad being with his best friend, ran away with his 3 dogs, meets King on the way who takes him in. (Which is great, they can spend time helping each other with studies ;)~).

- Mek Boss -

Sorry, that voice over, though? Yeah, not working out, that voice don't fit Ryan at ALL, but aside from that horrible voice over (that I didn't realize until my second rewatch), they are such an amazing duo.

Mek is in love with his best friend who is oblivious, he has this not so creepy closet stashed with all of his best friend's pictures because that's what bros do and have. Poor Mek is being dragged around by Boss (because Boss is so in love with women and is chasing after anyone he talks to), being pulled to teach him how to play the fricken GUITAR to impress this girl or whatever and Mek is just suffering through it all.

Boss pulls Mek like EVERYWHERE with him and these adventures because well his mute husband isn't gonna go anywhere without him dragging him anyway. But they got together in the end and all turns out good when Boss actually likes Mek back.

- Thara Frong -

Needed more scenes and that SLOW BURN. Though they didn't have the best chemistry, they also had pretty good development, from Frong hating Thara into finally giving into him to - oh gosh - get FRIEND ZONED! But to be honest, they're pretty good still. Even if they didn't have the best chemistry in the beginning, they managed to become friends.

So, well, Frong didn't really like Thara, Frong works at a flower shop, good for his business major or whatever it was and Thara is a doctor. Their first meet wasn't that good, but brush it aside because we literally find out Frong's mom is suffering from illness and Thara is actually helping his mom out (yeah.. kinda awkward)

He apologizes for his behavior towards the beginning of their meet, (luckily, he doesn't over apologize like BohnDuen over there) and they make up for it.

We still have season 2, so I'm not too worried about their chemistry, it'll become better (hopefully) and hopefully Thara will finally stop friend zoning this poor dude and get together.

- - -

So, what did we learn? We learned here that the side couples came out better than the main couple and that BohnDuen needs to step up their game next season or I'm actually going to cry a river, they need to divide the scenes correctly next time so that if BohnDuen DOES mess up again we'll at least get 25% of the other couples.

Though, since they're the main characters just give them a little bit more percentages for screen time because well after all they're still the main couple and that RamKing, MekBoss, and TharaFrong should still kind of have even screen time (especially TharaFrong.. their slow burn)

(Anyway, MekBoss might not even return because Triage Ent. decides to be that way. BRING BACK RYAN, UGH!)

Coulda done better as a BL

I've watched this show and honestly thought it could've done a bit better as a BL, I like the storyline but just not how they literally jumped time, universe travel, and all that stuff.

But the plot between that bodyguard and the King MMMMMM, okay. MMMMMMM. That is all I have to say, their bromance was what brought me to the show in the first place, and the first episode just shows all of it...

I've watched the bromance on some edits and it brought me to the show, I absolutely love Bromance.

But IMO (In my opinion) it would've done better as a BL and without the weird time and universe travel. (This ain't Multiverse of Madness)

Came here for PerthTalay

So as the title said, I came here for PerthTalay content, because I'm still stuck on My Engineer and can't seem to leave (Don't talk to me about BohnDuen because they do the same thing every episode).

So I basically came here to watch stuff and uk.. expected some PerthTalay stuff. I watched it. I didn't really care about the other couples that much if I'm being completely honest.

But uhm. Tir kind of.. died. So Idk what to say about that really, I came here for them and that's just their plot. I'm not too mad, but I'm just sad that that was how it ended for Perth.

A little bit disappointing

Though I know that it's for the plot and stuff, I still kind of don't like having Hyun-jun missing, though the name "Go Yoo-han" was mentioned multiple times during S2, I can't help but want him back. Though he might be back in Season 3 unless he becomes a different person then I'm not sure about that.

It's just that I liked Hyun-jun and feel like he should've been in Season 2, I didn't mind it either, it was just that I kinda wished he was there though it might probably ruin the plot so Idk.
