What is time?

Ok, I don't know how long this review is going to be. It's been 30 minutes since I finished watching this drama and I'm still crying. Bawling my eyes out.
A lot of people may not have liked it, but to me? It was such a heart warming story.
Time....what is time? How do we spend it? With who? We are so busy running around like ants that we forget that time runs out.
Have you spoken to a loved one today? Have you smiled at those close to you? If you knew time was running out what would you be doing?
Maybe it's time we start using all the time we have.
I am seriously hugging my cat to death from now on. Might adopt 20 more.
Ok let's talk about the small stuff:
I personally don't think they could have chosen any one better for this role. I loved all the actors. Kim Soo was the best cat ever. He played his role so well that you start to wonder if this boy isn't really a cat.
The soundtrack was good as well. It suited the mood brilliantly.
I would watch it again when I get my emotions under control.
By the way, my cat isn't allowed while I shower or dress........

Emotional roller coaster.

This story started really cute. I've never seen a Kdrama shot in any other country besides Korea.
The rest of the story was so full of twists and turns. So much back stabbing and conflict. It seemed that every character had some sort of dark past that they were frantically hiding from someone. So many emotions it made my head spin. Lies, deceit, hate, jealousy and then of course, unrequited love made for one hell of a roller coaster ride.
Secrets turned into weaknesses, turning people into monsters. It seems that most of Kdrama set in schools deal a lot with being bullied. Status seems to be a huge factor.
I felt really bad for most of the actors, especially Tan and at times just wanted to hug him.
This drama deals with a lot of different relationships. Between parents, lovers and friends.
It was a good story in my opinion.
It made me realize that we as humans should be kinder to one another. You never know what someone else is going through.

Aww It's over?

All I can say is I wish this was a series....It was so cute that I would have loved to have seen more. It had a few good scares but it also had me laughing out loud. And of course some sweet romance. And the ending was hilarious. But not really conclusive in my opinion. Maybe I'm too used to the same old horror almost predictable endings.
I loved all the characters. They were all funny adding to the comedy. But not stupid funny if you know what I mean.
And the story was unique. Some may not be as impressed as I am but I liked it a lot. I am really holding back to not give any spoilers lol.

The most unpredictable drama I have seen in a long time

From the first episode I was on the edge of my seat until the very last 20 minutes. This drama was so unpredictable that it had me wondering what was going to happen next all the time. Every time I thought I had the ending figured out they threw in a little titbit that made me more confused than ever. Don't get me wrong it is not a jumble of random thoughts that was just stuck together with sticky tape to fill up the episodes. It's not that the story didn't make sense, it's just kept you guessing all the time.
And don't let the name Mistress fool you. There are two explicit scenes in the first two episodes, but nothing serious. But it is about what happens after an affair. The whole story was based around it. If I have to explain it I might give away a few spoilers.
The story revolves around four women and each one's story is interesting, adding to the mystery of the whole drama. You would think having 4 side stories would make the drama long and boring but each woman had a man in her life and it could be any of those men who was murdered in the end. And just as I thought it was this one or that one, they threw in a clue that completely threw me off again.
One thing I can say: don't mess with a bunch of women who are best friends! They stuck together until the very end.
It is one of those where you would like just one more episode. A season 2 would've been great.

Awesome!

I'm still hungover from this series, so if I rave too much, just bare with me for a second. Once I started this series, I couldn't stop! The story was sad, made me mad, had me giggling. So many emotions, from the one scene to the next.
And the action started in the first 10 min.
I started watching it because of my favorite actor, (I've been watching all of his dramas) and man oh man! I was not disappointed. Phew! If you are into one sexy bad ass male lead and romance, this is it!!!
For me the acting was excellent. Maybe cause I was too busy swooning over the male lead but oh well, I regret nothing.
The male lead was cool and calm, cunning and sophisticated. I absolutely loved his fashion sense.
The female lead was feisty and sometimes also sweet and innocent, even though she put up a front of being tough and stronger than most. Then again, she obviously is with all she had been through. She had a tough life, but she made it out a better person. And she's pretty. In some roles the supporting actress is prettier than the main, but not in this one.
The rest of the cast was also really good with their acting. In some dramas you will find that one or two of the actors shouldn't have been playing that role. Not this one. They all fit their parts perfectly. Very well done.
The plot: Revenge and a splash of romance is the main theme. People who abandon their morals for wealth and abuse of power. I also loved the music.
The ending? Phew what to say? Maybe something like: my heart stopped for a second? I am giving this a perfect 10, cause I personally couldn't find anything wrong. Wishing for another one like this.

This series kept me on the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME!. The moment you think things are coming to an end you realize there is more....The evil girl annoyed the crap out of me, . They couldn't have chosen a better candidate. She made me want to scream, I actually wanted to skip all the scenes that she was in. BECAUSE OF THE CHARACTER. She was always one step ahead. So if you are tired of the good guys always being smarter and winning from the beginning, you have to watch this. It was unique. Honestly not like something I have watched before. Some people might think that the series went on too long and at times it felt that way. It felt as if the good guys will never beat this evil b***. She is cunning and cruel and she actually made the series. The way all the characters started working together was like a breath of fresh air. In most horrors it is always only two or three characters that has to save the world. This series was really like a breath of fresh air, in a frustrating "just kill the crazy woman" kind of thing. I had more than one "no, no, no!" moment.

A must watch if you are looking for something totally out of the box.

Loved Loved this!!!

I have seen many clips of it on social media, but left it on my to watch list until a friend "forced" me to watch it. What a ride!!!!
I am not fond of comedy, but this was hilarious. The acting was natural and not over the top, there were no cringe moments. And the sound effects that came with it was brilliantly done.
At first I thought it would be your typical rich boy poor girl romance, I didn't expect to like it so much. This type of story has been done a million times, but it wasn't your typical melodramatic drama. There were no boring insignificant side stories that made the drama too long. Kdrama characters all have the same type of acting, but this was refreshing. They were actually relatable and natural. Even the quirky FML didn't put me off, because she wasn't over the top. I knew the grandfather would be the "bad guy" at some point, but even so I liked him so much. All the actors played their roles brilliantly. Even the character development wasn't slow and boring. This drama cut to the chase and didn't get dragged out. It was short and sweet. It's a must watch. A breath of fresh air

I really loved this story. The ML was totally bad ass in a calm kind of way. The FL was kind and strong in her own way dealing with what life gave her and making the best of it.
I loved the way he protected her and that he was happy at last.
BUT they could really have done more with the ending. It almost ended like a series with a season 2. I would have loved it to be at least 10 min longer. There are so many questions I have.
But it was a VERY good movie. I understand what happened in the end but it felt rushed. I still gave it a 9/10 because it was really good and I guess I didn't want it to be over.

Whoa, I don't know what to put in the headline

This is one of those movies that makes you question reality. I had to go read the spoilers in the comments to actually fully understand what had happened. Not predictable at all.
How do we deal with pain and guilt? We all deal with it in a different way, don't we.
The cast was very well chosen and they each fulfill their roles perfectly in my opinion.
I thought it was going to be just another ghost story but in the end it had a lot more to it. There were so many questions and twists and turns, that I couldn't exactly keep up. But the story kept throwing you off. Just as you think you had it figured out it to another turn.
I really really liked it although I had to go read up on it a bit and when I had it figured out I realized how brilliant it was.

If you are looking for something unpredictable this one is for you. My brain was on fire trying to come up with the next solution.

A very good vampire drama

Sorry to all the Twilight fans out there. But in my opinion: Vampires don't sparkle, they are not as pathetic as Edward and the girl is not as stupid as Bella. And this was NOT Twilight. It was a short sweet story. Too short in my opinion and I hope there is a second season out there. Still looking.
The story was interesting. Most of the times I get bored with a drama very quickly because it has too many episodes, but I would have liked more of this. But on the other hand maybe it is good that it was short with no stupid side stories that you usually find in more episode dramas. It got straight to the point.
The special effects where really well done. That is one of the things that puts me off of supernatural dramas or movies. Especially vampire dramas. The movements of the vampires where very well done, showing their speed and strength with just the right amount of special effects.
The acting was also nicely done with the girl not being a pushover, a fact that I loved.
I liked the friendship "loyalty" between the characters even though it was too fast paced to show very much.
I do however feel that this must have been a manga with more to it, but haven't done my homework yet.
A really fast cute vampire romance when you are in the mood for something that doesn't drag on and on.
I gave it a very good rating but AGAIN would love for it to have been a liiitttlle bit longer.

For John Wick fans

Well many might not agree with me but this movie was awesome. I would put it up there with John Wick. Seriously. The male character was unfeeling at first and at times it made me wonder why he was so hell bent on his mission. BUT it changes and I had a moment where I had to grab the tissues.
It's so action packed. The fighting ranges from hand to hand combat to knives to guns. Kept me on the edge of my seat at all times.
BUT it's not for the faint hearted.
Kidnapping of children, drugs, human trafficking and more. There was also a lot of blood and gore.
The plot was dark really dark. This guy had no problem killing the bad guys in the most painful way possible. I had a few moments where I cringed at the bloodiness and violence. But it was a great movie.

A story about everyday challenges.

Yes I know some feel the story was predictable, but I liked it. It was still a good drama. It's a nice one to watch when you need something light. To be honest, I loved it. Why?
1. The actors. They were awesome. Many Japanese actors (and I don't think all of them, don't get me wrong) act unnaturally. Not this one though. I actually felt a kind of kinship with them. Especially the main female lead. She was quirky but in a natural way. It didn't feel like she was acting and made you feel that she is like that in real life. Not an actor but an actual person.
2. If I found a guy like the male lead? I would marry him in an instant! At times I felt the same way as the female lead and thought he was a total idiot. BUT that only showed his loyalty and tenacity. He stubbornly didn't give up. On the other hand that also made him blind to things going on around him. He lost sight of the people who mattered the most and at times I wanted to smack some sense into him.
3. It was a story about change. How good things come to an end but we have to hold on to the good memories. About friendship. About love. About good times and bad times. Do we move backwards because we fear the unknown or do we move forward, take the leap and grab what life gives with both hands.
I know I gave this drama a really high score and some might not agree with me but that is mostly because of the uniqueness of it. The story might have been like a lot of romance dramas but the setting was different and the acting was completely refreshing.

A good one for cloudy days.

You know those days when you just feel blegh? You spilled coffee on your favorite shirt, was late for work cause you were stuck in traffic, you just met your crushes girlfriend....yeah. One of those days. But luckily it's Friday so time for some kdrama and chocolate.
I loved these two characters. I laughed, there were some cringe worthy scenes, I did some facepalms. It was a fun watch. Everything about the female character was funny even her family made me laugh. The weird best friend included.
BUT, sadly the title is a little misleading. "Wild" love?, not so much. I would have liked a little more romance between the two leads.
But then again this wasn't THAT kind of drama.I think if it got a little steamy it would have changed the whole feel of the story.
I really am not fond of comedy, but I enjoyed this one a lot.
