Cheesy predictable thriller.....

Killed My Wife (Anaereul Jukyessda)” is a guilty, sinking suspicion, a question and in the end an answer to a mystery, cryptically served-up in a solid genre thriller that keeps you guessing, thanks at least in part to a bit of cheating on the part of the filmmaker

Jung-ho is bitterly convinced that “love needs money,” an idea he uses to justify his depressing gambling habit. Money, he believes, is the reason his wife (the gentle Wang Ji-hye) threw him out of the house. When Jung-ho lost his white collar job, he didn’t have the courage to tell her he had been fired and was scrounging for work as day laborer. Little did he guess what job she was forced to find to survive, and even when he does find out, it doesn’t seem to make much of an impression.

Only a bunch of gangsters running a gambling and massage business are raking it in. Our hero has borrowed money from the evil Mrs. Kim (Seo Ji-young), a sneering boss lady who threatens to cut off his hand Kim Ki-duk style if he doesn’t pay up. Her sadistic gloating seems more at home in a comic strip than a film, but the bitter final reveal about her — again, satisfyingly realistic — comes like an unexpected slap in the face of genre conventions.

Misleading poster -

I basically watch some movies if the poster is interesting. ...and so did I end up watching this ,,,,,,it was quite misleading as the protagonist was not the actress but the actor.....and to my surprise it was my fav star KIM KANG WOO....heart eyess

Kim Sang-kyung and Kim Kang-woo acquit themselves well in their respective roles but it is Kim Hee-ae as Yoon Seol-hee, the deceived wife whose love for her husband will eventually result in her death, who stands out even though her role is limited. Kim brings a pathos to the role, that was missing from her equivalent in the original film, and is therefore an empathetic character – indeed perhaps the only one in the film.

“The Vanished” is a more than proficient directorial debut marking Director Lee out as someone to watch for in the future.

Actress says more with the swish of a wine glass than either of her co-stars do with multiple monologues.....No role for her

repetitive and sluggish

In the remake of the Canadian film, six of varying ages and backgrounds find themselves locked and confined in a mysterious cube shaped room. They do not have any ideas where they are and decide to escape. They need to work with one another and decipher the code needed to exit the cube. The movie could be considered as being one of the pioneers of the now-infamous torture porn genre, pre-dating films like Saw and Hostel that have exploited the idea so much with countless sequels, spin-offs, and rip-offs over the years.

No more talking. No more guessing. Don’t even think about nothing that’s not right in front of you. That’s the real challenge — you’ve gotta save yourselves from yourselves....

Trip down memory lane made into a YouTube compilation video

#I wasn't really surprised that it was more of a summarization of both seasons 1 and 2........

# Shortened but has highlighted and important parts. In the end, Sarawat and Tine’s magic lives on, and it’s one we can always come back to anytime we want to understand again how love is truly universal and encompassing.

#The film presents more of Sarawat’s point of view in retelling his magical love story with Tine.

#It is sad that the studio, director and the actors decided to swindle the fans' loyalty by producing a below par film.

-Nothing Serious indeed -

Romance Without Love is one of those romantic movies which manages to hold its ground despite not clear with its path, and without bringing anything special.

The cuteness factor related to the chemistry between the leading performers seems to drive the movie forward more than anything else.

Throughout the movie, and for most of the time, both of them are also on the screen, and there is that kind of a dependence on the two characters, which actually works in favour of the film. Even though there is the usual in here, we also have the divergence also in store – the movie is a combination of the expected and the unexpected, both coming together to create something which is not that far away from life of this century in the big cities.  It has the collection of qualities that are rarely seen in dumb Bollywood romance and others.

De title may b intense & de starting is intriguing but de story lacks a punch -

12 Suicidal Teens gave equal attention 2 telling all of deir stories & provided audiences wid an avenue 2 hear de problems dat compelled these teens 2 end their life. A lot of these problems are relatable & realistic & could serve as a wake up call 4 audiences 2 listen 2 wat is not being said by their own loved ones, friends or acquaintances.

SYNOPSIS ~12 teenagers sign up 4 an assembly 2 commit suicide @ de basement of an abandoned hospital. Unlike any suicide attempt though, de assembly needs de consent of de entire body b4 dey can proceed wid de plan. B4 dey can even begin however, dey find dat another person has beaten them 2 de punch. Dey begin 2 suspect dat a murderer is among them & dey team up 2 unravel de mystery behind their uninvited guest.

All in all, 12 Suicidal Teens could be described as a boring film for some because of the lengthy dialogue and the general quiet atmosphere, but for me, it was ok. The twists weren’t very surprising neither it felt exceptionally mysterious but they were just enough to keep me on my sit untl the end. PREDICTABLE !! UT WORTH A WATCHH

Occasionally kooky `~but thoroughly entertaining thriller

A good female-fronted actioner....

Its cramming so much into the narrative dat it stumbles over itself on more than one occasion; it very often forgets its own internal logic and drags the final showdown out to the breaking point. The sequence’s style, energy and Kim’s coiled glee save it from tipping into overkill. Falls into a “tell” instead of “show” trap for character and narrative momentum; If a second part is in the pipeline, as the title suggests, there was no need to rush key revelations.Pounding, atmospheric score stands out among impeccable tech specs across the board.

The deadly charisma of the key performers, notably Kim Da-mi as the teenage Ja-yoon, and Choi Woo Shik should be well appreciated !!!

Strong woman do bong soon coming soon --

This aired on 17 Feb as the show starts on 24. As we can watch a glimpse of it even before its premiere - i.e the Special Broadcast. The special episode reveals behind-the-scenes stories from the actors during filming and a special commentary interview with the actors of the show. Clips follow them from their very first meeting before shooting the drama.

Park Bo Young, who played de role of- Do Bong Soon, chose a scene from de 5th episode in which Do Bong Soon confronts a pervert on de subway. De scene takes place after she decides 2 no longer hide her powers from de world. The scene was especially satisfying for viewers as she swiftly punishes the pervert for his actions and Park Bo Young said, “I liked the scene also because it felt good to act out the change in Do Bong Soon’s perspective [on her powers].”As for her favorite lines, Park Bo Young picked out a scene from episode seven in which Do Bong Soon clashes with her mother about being an afterthought in the family. In the scene, Do Bong Soon tearfully says, “u raised me while always putting me last. Do u think I wanted 2 b born like dis? Why do you hate only me?…We’re both your children but why are you always unfair to only me? You’re a woman too so why are you always mean to only me?”

Park Hyung Sik, who took on the role of video game company CEO Ahn Min Hyuk, chose a scene from episode 14, in which Ahn Min Hyuk stares longingly at Do Bong Soon and says, “Please look at me. Please love me,” as the most memorable scene from the drama. Before this scene, Do Bong Soon goes to confront the villain on her own and, in the process, loses her strength, which causes her to lose consciousness. The scene further confirms their love for one another and Park Hyung Sik said, “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more thoughtful and emotional scene before. Even thinking about it now, I can still feel lingering emotions in my heart from that scene that I just can’t explain in words.”

Ji Soo, who played the role of the aloof but caring character of In Guk Doo, chose a scene from the upcoming episode as his favorite scene so far. He explained, “When I first read the synopsis for the drama, I really liked the aspect in which these three characters come together to achieve justice. The scene I am thinking of from episode 15 best illustrates this aspect of the drama, which is why it is my favorite scene.”The actor also picked a favorite line from a scene in which In Guk Doo expresses his concerns about Do Bong Soon spending the night in Ahn Min Hyuk’s home. In Guk Doo says, “Why are we just friends?” which clearly causes Do Bong Soon’s heart to flutter, and continues, “Make sure to lock the doors when you stay at that CEO’s house. Ahn Min Hyeok is definitely not gay.” Ji Soo explained, “At this point, In Guk Doo doesn’t realize that he likes Do Bong Soon but his true feelings show during this scene. I like this line because it portrays the unfortunate timing of their relationship very concisely.”

It’s never too late to start watching “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tweaking de high-school cliches -

De film opens in high spirits in Wuhan, central China, in autumn 2008 – a pivotal year 4 de country, wid de Beijing Olympics, Shenzhou VII space launch & (more important for the teeny heroine) de seventh album by Taiwan boyband Mayday 五月天. De bubbly, totally generic tone is continued as she teams up with 2 other duncy girl-pals & ends up sharing a desk with a brilliant but arrogant male student for whom, after the usual spatting, she develops a serious but clumsy shine.

MEMORABLE LINES _ Do u remember de younger u back then? dat person back then was de best version of u; de person i am now is de best version of me; btw de best version of ourselves are all de years of our youth that we'll never able to catch again."
When I recalled my high school life after many years, I barely remembered much of it. It was like a running list with all trivial things, which was hard to salvage. I can't remember what we said and what we did but I remembered you -Geng-Geng.

Sluggish Justice 4 de Korean Corruption

A police woman & de kidnapper play a game of cat and mouse; dat's nothing new. De movie is abt corruption within de highest ranks & even if de heroine thinks dat dis can't be glossed over & go unpunished nowadays, de audience will probably doubt that. What's good is how de revelations constantly change de characters' interactions, though.

VERDICT _ Even though de tension is mainly created through de conversations & de danger in which de hostages are in, there are also some action scenes. Laudably, these don't drag on & fit well in2 de rest of de movie, even though we are clearly not dealing wid an action movie.

Kakeru, u deserve all de love & happiness in de world

doppelgangers in a parallel world...Friendship...fantasy.... love.....cinematography - I loved dis movie in all aspects!

VERDICT _ It was an amazing watch. Still can't believe its a 2015 movie!! De chosen casts completed de realness of de movie! Dey are really good actors who perfectly portrayed their respective roles.

Lessons from de story- B true 2 urself - Regrets from de past may haunt u in de present, that’s a way 2 live ur life purposely 2day.- Don’t keep everything 2urself, instead learn 2 release de pain - Value de people who sees u as a family -People come & go, those who stayed are worth 2 keep- It’s okay 2 cry & express yourself.
Lucky Naho!!! Both Sawa and Kakeru are eye-candies!

Cloning, de meaning of being human, ethical ramifications of eternal life & slick genre action

Wen has making artificial life ever been a good idea? u'd think scientists would have learnt dis lesson by now.BUT IT WOULD NOT B IF their creation has de angelic doe-eyed face of actor Park Bo-gum. Let's b honest, if u could make an artificial human wid those good looks, u’d be crazy not 2!

Gong & Park make a good match in dis road trip movie & get 2 shine in emotional scenes as well as action sequences.Seobok is an odd hybrid of a movie. Half of it is character drama and philosophical musings about mortality. The other half is high-octane action with gunfights and psychic powers.

VERDICT _ An enjoyable journey & as long as u don’t have too high of an expectation, I think u’ll have a decent time.
De movie had great visuals & effects, & I really enjoyed some of de cinematic shots it had. Certain scenes were beautifully shot & mesmerizing, & some were even frightening @ times as well, in a good way.

Madness + Speed & Race

Dis movie’s got de high speed car chases dat often lead 2 intense & messy crashes, well-choreographed street fights, & bloody punches 2 de teeth. If u came here 4 action, u won’t be disappointed… u just might find de 1st hour of de movie a little dull. An avid viewer would find dat the second half wasn't a waste of time or de repetition of de story dat was already told as some critics claimed.

Viewers are thrust into heart-racing action, den brought back down 2 reality & dare I say boredom in de very next scene. It felt as though de action scenes never really came 2 their climax, & dis could b said of de ending too. It would b wrong 2 say dat de conclusion of de narrative is anti-climactic, bcz it came 2 a quick finish wid no loose ends, but we didn’t get 2 see Jung Jae Chul really experience his defeat, & de police commissioner was all but forgotten long b4 de ending.

VERDICT _ procedural plot, slow pace and misguided ending. P.S loved the acting of Ryu Jun‑yeol....

Wanna watch a movie which is both Chinese & Korean?

three-country collaboration - Cliche Plot -set in Shanghai and Sicily- not worth it

In de first half of de film, de viewer is left really confused about de entire plot & really not being able 2 empathize wid de heartbreak dat the female lead is supposedly going through.De movie is pretty painless, wid de formula livened up by shifting the perspective from one character to another at the halfway point, triggering some revelations.

VERDICT _ Centred on the difficulty of saying goodbye to loved ones, the film is at its best (and occasionally moving) when being simple and unaffected, avoiding generic gushiness.
