TAKE ALL MY MONEY

This is such a gem!!!! This is hands down the best GL that I’ve watched. The acting is top tier and the natural chemistry between Faye and Yoko is untouched. The acting feels very comfortable and nonscripted. I am really enjoying these little details with the directing as well!
The delivery of the script is so good. I fear that I won’t be able to move on from this drama. Anueng
must be protected at all cost!!!!!
And the side couple as well is chefs kiss. Also not to mention the plot is giving very soap opera and I’m eating it up lol. You should definitely watch!

Breathtakingly Beautiful - BEST GMMTV PRODUCTION

This is easily GMMTVs best production. Whenever P’Aouf is involved you can count on beautiful cinematography, great direction and a heartfelt story. Not only does JimmySea have some of the best chemistry out there when it comes to pairs but they’re so versatile with their acting as well! They’ve come a long way since Vice Versa.

The story naturally is something raw. Day has a vision impairment and we’re seeing how he has to accept his current situation and adapt. His family is worried about him and are in sense walking on eggshells around him. Mhok is trying to choose a different path from what he knows after coping with the loss of his sister.

The show does a really good job by representing how ableism in society affects and invalidates someone with an impairment and their feelings. We see how Mhok is helping Day find joy in his life again without feeling like he’s not allowed to continue to do everything he did before his accident. But more importantly we see how Day is opening Mhok up to being more understanding and educated on what it’s like for someone who has a visual impairment.

The way this show portrays someone adjusting to losing their sight is well done but also, they did a good job at showing the way someone who is able to see should treat someone with a visual impairment.
This show does a really great job of showcasing many other prevalent themes in society such as single parents and family dynamics after a life altering accident.

The way Sea portrays Days character is commendable and definitely one of the best performances that I’ve seen in any drama. And I can’t even explain the hurt and agony my heart felt watching Jimmy portrays Mhok. Just truly such a beautiful and well done show.
Ofcourse Mark is outstanding with his character Night and hands down his best performance in any drama he’s been in.
Honestly though my favorite part about the show has got to be the way it’s shot. Not only cinematography wise but directional as well.

I loved everything about the show except Day getting his sight back. It felt like a cop out and easy route when it could’ve been more impactful with them giving him a more realistic ending. The whole show was around Day learning to accept his new reality but also appreciating everything in a whole new light. I also didn’t like the direction of how Mhok and him broke up but then reunited. There could’ve been a better way that the ending was done in my opinion but overall the show was great.

I love how finally in the BL world we’re slightly shifting from trivial high school and college plots but dipping our toes into more raw and meaningful stories.
This drama and the entire cast deserve endless success!!
Everything about this show is 10/10.

Curse those wontons

I searched everywhere (and I mean Everywhere) for this drama. If you’re part of any government or law enforcement agency please stop reading.

I met this random dude on the interweb (username: C0mpl3t3_8ull5h1t) and he told me he just wanted some feet pics. Granted I had to watch it without English subtitles but it’s okay because I have a doctorates in longing stares and lustful eyes.

From the Cinematography, costumes, soundtrack and acting everything was beautiful! And it was UNCENSORED!!!!!!!!!! Girl when I saw Taxian-jun had Chu wanning chained up I was just as GAGGED as Shizun. The way they had Mo Ran eat them wontons *insert giggling emoji*

There was one scene that could have used better CGI but I understand the money needed to go to Chu Wannings hair. I hadn’t felt this emotional since The Untamed, Eternal Faith and Word of Honor<3

The show was a 10/10!!!!!
Can you believe after I gave that man feet pics he called “me weird.” Me weird? He said I could’ve just used a VPN. Anyways giving it a 9.5 because of the long wait and no English subtitles.

Oooh gwooorrrl

I’m hooked. It’s been a hot minute since I seen a good Japanese bl love scene and baby this one is taking top three. The way this drama is directed is one of the best I’ve seen. Everything is paced well and even the flash backs are well placed within the storyline.
Everything about this drama just screams perfect. From the cinematography and color choices to the actors and the storyline. Genuinely one of my favorites so far and definitely top seven BLs of this year!
I don’t want this to ever end *insert crying emoji*. Episode seven is by far the best episode and gave me butterflies *insert giggling emoji*.
If I had one critique it would be the ending. We’re given this great spice scene but myself personally would have liked a more developed character growth moment even if they had to rush it. The ending to me felt a little incomplete. The character Yoh is just so dense tbh like he clearly doesn’t know how to read the room *insert sigh emoji.”
Anyways it was still one of the best dramas we were given this year and worth the watch.

Don’t let others deter you away!

Okay so I’m gonna go against most people with this review. The problem with many BL watchers these days is that they’re impatient and expect too much (myself included).
Did I expect season two to be drawn out and repetitive as the first season? No. However, let’s put this Into perspective. As we seen in season one Minato is childish and overdramatized but hey that’s okay bc same. People seem to not realize that season two is literally not that long after season one in their timeline. Shin is still very much young and although he’s still very persistent I can understand why Minato still feels uneasy with their relationship. Clearly he wants and loves shin but let’s not act like these external factors like the clearly huge ass age difference isn’t an issue that can be solved over night.
Like they literally barley hold hands and y’all expect more?
In season 2 we get more of the side couple!!!!! I’m living for them. They give me life!
I’m not even gonna address episode nine though because right whenever we get a much deserved scene and moment between Shin and Minato something else changes that and laughs in our face. They said y’all kept begging, nagging, and yapping about Minato being immature and not having any moments with Shin so we’ll give it to you. But at what cost *insert that ugh emoji*.
Actually now it seems like I’m trying to deter you away from the show lol. Anyways just watch it. It won’t kill you (hopefully) to watch it and it has a good looking cast. But like in all seriousness Minato needs to give shin what he needs *insert smirk emojo* or let him go *insert crying emoji*.
I cannot lie I was part of that pitch forks and knives group telling Minato to grow a pair and let everyone die in peace. And btw Minato is still every bit of annoying until the last episode*insert crying emoji*.

Gworl these two Alphas had me GAGGED( ◠‿◠ )

Pavel has been one of my favorite actors since 2 Moons 2. I even watched Coffee Melody (a tough watch) for this man bc he’s such a good actor lol. And Baby finally we have entered a beautiful era where he’s able to display his full potential. The Character Babe just suits him so well. His versatility and the way he’s able to convey emotions is just chefs kiss.
I’m not familiar with the actor Pooh but so far I’m loving him! He’s got some natural acting and he’s got this cute but sexy vibe to him that’s hard to pull off. Now Pavel and Pooh together oh gworl the fireworks TT.
The show itself seemingly had a good budget. High quality and good directing.
I would be lying if I said the show was perfect without faults just because I love the cast.
Honestly I’m left with several unanswered questions. There were definitely some routes in the show that I think were weird and should’ve been left out but over all it was pretty good.
I am going to miss Sailub and Pon bc they stole my heart with Alan and Jeff but was left pleased with what we got from them. Hehehehehe. The show is great and I got that from the most (debatable ) trust worthy source (which is me ofc) out there man. You will also be GAGGED I fear from the very first episode lol.

gimme gimme more gimme gimme more

You should probably most definitely watch it. There’s something about this drama that just has me dangling on a hook. The chemistry between both couples give me life. Granted I’m a little skeptical about the age difference with one of the main couples with one of the main leads still in highschool presumptuously but the other male leads character doesn’t seem that old so but ANYWAYS I GOT OFF TRACK. As an avid BL watcher of all countries Taiwan has some of my favorites as in this one we get so many cameos of iconic bl duos so that also has me thrilled!
So I actually take back my starting sentence with probably most definitely watch and instead replace it with you absolutely most definitely should watch.

Not enough credit given

RANT: I see a lot of people hating on this show and it doesn’t do it any Justice. There’s a lot of talk about not enough BL material? Plot holes? No chemistry? Like did we watch the same show? People were upset with Sean Changs character saying over acting? I found his character hilarious. He did really well. I think he portrayed his character perfectly showing how naturally funny and unserious he is but also how people like that also have their own problems and sometimes aren’t happy. I genuinely don’t know what plot holes there are? Everything was covered? Yes we could’ve had less episodes but I didn’t find there to be too many “filler” episodes. I’ve seen plenty of BLs and dramas in general and my first reaction when finishing this was not me being unsatisfied. People were liking HIStory 4 better which makes me not even want to hear their opinion on this show anymore. Aside from Ansen and Charles character I was bored with the HIStory 4. The step brother storyline was an ick especially because of the whole SA storyline and unfortunately I had to relive that trauma with this couple again but it’s tradition to bring back a previous couple ??. I skipped a lot of HIStory 4 and none of HIStory 5 so idk man. Anyways RANT OVER don’t let all these bad review keep you from watching it and enjoying it! There’s plenty of worst BL shows out there than this one that’s for sure!

Eh

Honestly where to begin? As an avid drama watcher I have seen my fair share of hot garbage shows. From the very first episode you can tell right from the start of what you’re about to get into. First the acting (-_-). In the nicest way possible it’s a no for me. Honestly lee (Days character) is a pretty decent actor. I like him in Tim Jai although that series was also a hard watch. This dude could really shoot off if he was given a decent show. His versatility while playing the character Day was noticeable and not bad. Frank however (itt), we’ll ummmmmmm. Honestly the sad part about it was frank did get better at acting in the show but that was in the second half of the last episode. What could be worse than Franks acting when he holds a main role? How about the that one P’s acting T T. Tbh I forgot his name (but if you watch it honey you’ll know right off about who I’m referring to) because the only thing memorable about him was his horrible acting and a terribly written revenge arc storyline for something he started? Please when he first appeared on the screen I wanted to gouge my eyes out from his acting. And someone should be ashamed they approved those scenes as well.
The storyline? I don’t read synopsis because I’m crazy and just like the jump into shit and trust and believe when I found out what this story was about and the other stories this one is connected too I felt icky. For some disturbing reason in a lot of BLs rape is romanticized and that makes me uncomfortable. People who defend these types of shows and movies make me even more uncomfortable. Yes it’s fictional but considering the target audience which tends to be teenage/early female adults that feels very weird. Beside that one P’s revenge storyline that was so bad and the dude at the campsites storyline with itt I honestly don’t want to talk about this show anymore. The more I write the more irritated I’m starting to get.
Look this show was complete trash and I heard they’re trying to have another series but going backwards through the books and I genuinely hope they don’t because that’s even more disturbing than this plot line. If you like hot garbage this is definitely for you. I finished it and I did pause it several times during the last episode to question my life decisions. It’s okay for a one time watch definitely would never recommend or rewatch this again. If I’m being completely honest though it wasn’t like I was expecting anything good so ig I wasn’t disappointed . The final fight scene for this show wasn’t completely bad except for that slow mo punch scene between day and that one P. I wish I could erase that from my memory TT. And don’t get me started on the wardrobe decision for it itt TT. Every since I finished the show I’ve been getting tik toks of Lee and frank and their photo shoot. DO NOT BE FOOLED. They look great together and the photo shoot looks good but it doesn’t reflect the show or acting. Actually the only good thing from this show was the intro.

Slow and steady wins the race

Although the pacing to this drama feels slow, it is one of the better dramas out there. The plot is nothing new or unheard of but yet this drama still feels quite nice and fun. Naturally this story revolves around a past memory that sets their friendship apart so to speak so there are going to be flashbacks. The flashbacks are placed pretty well within the story.
The side couple is cute and kinda just there lol but they cute. Actually this drama was just sweetness overload especially towards the end. You should watch.

Life Changing!

This was my first BL that I had watched other than call me by your name. I saw a tik tok edit and was like “oh man this looks hella good.” Went in blind because I don’t read synopsis^_^ and boy I was in for a wild ride.( ◠‿◠ ) Every since discovering this masterpiece I’ve been opened to the amazing world of Bl and really only watch BLs . I’ve been introduced to Jeff’s beautiful music and talents and the whole cast really! Worth every second. I wish I could rewatch it again for the first time. <3

Watch ASAP

I can not express how well made this show is. The acting is top tier and the cinematography is beautiful. Please watch this show. You will not regret it. EarthMix are always in these realistic setting dramas and oh boy FourthGemini leave me speechless. Firstkhao is also in the show and although they don’t have a connection linked between their characters, they was they portray their characters is also top tier. If you have any doubts about watching the show just watch it. You will not regret it.

WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!!!!

I literally just binged this entire series and I’m so glad I didn’t wait too long to watch it. This is not only one of the best productions that GMMTV has done but one of the best productions period. This is one of the only few dramas I’ve watched with fully fleshed characters. There is literally no wasted screen time. Every scene and character has a purpose and there’s no unnecessary drama.
The OST is great, the cinematography is gorgeous and more importantly the CAST CAN ACT!!!! I can literally rant about how good this show is for hours but instead of telling y’all about this beauty I just need you to experience it for yourself first hand!!!!!

Eh

*The main leads do not end up together but it is not sad either.*
Ah yes I love the smell of unrequited love in the morning! I absolutely love JBLs and their use of blue hues. I was sucked in the beginning so fast because of the directors and screenwriters were apart of some of my favorite dramas being eternal yesterday and my personal weatherman, Jack o’frost but apparently I jumped the gun*insert crying emoji*.

Within the show we have multiple one sided crushes and unrequited loves *insert crying emoji.”
The cinematography is beautiful and OST is super catchy and pleasing to the ear HOWEVER, many times I fear I kept calling to BL because it felt like she wasn’t in the room with us*insert crying emoji*. Felt a little too hetero for my liking at some point and not even a feeling of bromance was to be found.
The storyline is so nonsensical until the last episode and by then I didn’t even want or feel the need to finish it tbh. I was disappointed with this drama unfortunately but we can’t win them all lol.

More like seeking shelter

Definitely have mixed feelings about this one.
Don’t watch this if you’ll be fustrated with unanswered questions and open endings! Overall the story is a bit of a refresher in terms of the storyline dramas that are being aired right now. This one is as expected from a Korean bl to be more on the mature side.
At first I was thrown off with the flashbacks without much to differentiate between the past and present.
The drama feels a bit rushed and lacks being flushed out due to the short time in both amount of episodes and them the length of each episode.
Besides that the plot: the plot is something that draws me in. Two people brought together and bonding over their shitty families but ultimately are separated.
I wasn’t a big fan on the so many unanswered questions. The drama is too complex for such a short drama. This should’ve been a minimum of 8 episodes tbh.
Other than that, I’d watch it. There’s no big commitment to watching it and Jang Woo Young Is playing his role as a pushover too well *insert crying emoji.*
