Antagonists in love?

So, listen here, the story goes like this:
Qiqi is a character in the comic-world, who has always played the female supporting role (antagonist) and thus is very experienced in that. But due to a system error, in the next comic she is sent to, she mistakenly has to play the part of the female lead instead, which she is not familiar with at all. Because of this sudden realization, she accidentally injures the male lead of the comic, making him unconscious for some time. During those days, as the comic-ML is down, the main story of the comic can't start, and is instead changed and dragged out by the comic's supporting female lead chasing the female lead. Qiqi, trying to escape the situation, runs right into the arms of Leng Yehan - the male supporting role (antagonist). She feels safe with him, because she is aware he doesn't have a love-story in the comic, plus she knows his secrets, with which she threatens him to help her during this period of time. With this unplanned connection, a new love-story evolves.

The quality and acting were pretty decent for such a short drama/mini drama. There were also lots of fun scenes that made me laugh out loud, as well as some adorable ones. But I'm most surprised about the very interesting story-line. There are currently lots of short C-Dramas coming out, in which the female lead time travels, or is pulled into a drama-, book- or comic-world. But "Night of Love With You" still felt fresh. I was entertained throughout the whole drama, I binged it within a few hours.

What I also loved are the Main Leads of the drama (Qiqi and Leng Yehan). Qiqi was not cutesy, nor over the top. I actually found her pretty cool. Although she had to abide to the story of her comic character, she let us know her thoughts about those annoying clichés used in dramas/comics, haha. I also loved Yehan. Although he changed after meeting Qiqi, he didn't take a complete 180 degree turn. Some character traits of his stayed through the whole drama, which I'm glad about. Fortunately, Qiqi only had to act FL-like when the comic-ML was around, so with Yehan she could be herself xD I also really love the ending! <3

Don't be scared off by the Love Square tag. It wasn't that bad, plus it's essential for the story. That's what made the story interesting. I also loved how some characters were forced to certain key-events of the comic, and got conscious of it. Pretty cool.

Still, I have lots of questions. Given the short length, they focused on the relationship of the characters most. Otherwise they could have made it a full length series and focused on all aspects here. Like… what is outside the comic-world? Why is Qiqi aware of the comic-world and plays her role in different comics, while other characters don't? What are the rules and tricks in the comic world? They could also have dug deeper into the character's stories, etc etc...

The story had your typical marriage-contract trope - which I'm a big fan of.^^ It was cute and really funny but later took a drastical turn and got really emotional. And because the acting -and the portraying of some situations in general- were pretty realistic, it was sometimes really hard to bear for my poor heart. xD There were even lot's of twists in the story! :) But the story is somehow better explained through the characters, since they were the strongest part of the drama.

CHARACTERS
▸Moei (FL): At first she seemed like those naive, love-driven, standard-FL's. Even a little crazy/delusional. Her behaviour at the beginning even resembled those crazy SFL's. But actually underneath, she was aware the whole time that ML didn't like her. She had a pretty serious side and just swallowed everything what ML said to her. And she was intelligent and strong. Sometimes I couldn't understand some of her decisions tho. She was super interesting for me. She gave, without actually expecting something in return. Such a beautiful person. <3 And she started flirting first. hehe.

▸P'Thien (ML): He was the kinda mean ML, at least he seemed like that. He was turning down the FL. On the one hand you could feel exactly when he fell in love. And especially in the later ep's he had his character development.

▸The friend trio of the ML was hella funny! xD
▸ The evil SL's were sometimes hard to watch but bearable.
▸ AND we got a lesbian couple! :)

CAST/ACTING
As I already mentioned the acting was pretty realistic, especially towards the end. But it was great in general! The cast was amazing. Mark sure is hot and omg, Mew is such a beautiful woman! ^0^ Their styles here really matched them well! They looked so good and natural. :3

MUSIC
Oh my lord. Amazing! They used Slot Machine's "Yesterday" and Mark even covered it. And I love this song soo much! If anyone asks, what kind of music I like - it's this. But the other OST's were great too. Specially the opening. :)

ALL IN ALL
Great drama! Sure it had it's flaws. A few things even didn't make sense to me (only few). But I could overlook them all since I was amazed by the overall. For me it was unique in it's ways :) Loved it. I wish we could see more dramas like that. I enjoyed watching it. And we got a very beautiful ending. (*^▽^*)

Watch it! Enjoy! ^-^

Interesting, unique and extremely aesthetic

If I had to describe the drama in one word it would be: Beautiful. Everything about it is just so beautiful! ❤

-✿ CHARACTERS
Finally! Finally I got the FL I deserve! Si Teng is a queen and I‘m in love with her. She is strong, confident, intelligent and dominant but she also has a very kind, generous and vulnerable side. And she doesn’t take bullsh*t from anyone.
ML is a total nice guy! I thought he would either struggle or be intimidated by Si Teng as she made him her servant... but somehow.. he did neither. He was very kind and did as told but also talked to her if he thought she was in the wrong. He slowly grow on her and it was very obvious he fell for her. No words needed. I love how they showed how important Si Teng was to him...how much he loved her. It may seem at first like she is protecting him... but actually they are protecting each other. I loved their emotions and expressions.

Yan Fuiru is another strong character. First I didn‘t think so but he was very loyal and funny. A very good friend I‘d say. I even liked Bai Ying at the end. :) Great acting from all of them!

-✿ STORY
The story is very interesting too. Lots of mysteries to discover. They didn‘t reveal anything at all. They just added more and more mysteries until halftime.^^ Sometimes I felt a little lost but it also made me hella curious. At some point I wondered what is actually happening and then I was totally into it again. There were lots of funny scenes but it was also very emotional. Especially later. <3

-✿ AESTETHICS
Another strong point of the drama is the aesthetic. The filming locations and cinematography are stunning. The scenery and places are beautiful to the max. It looked like a more rural older town with forests and historical buildings. And it matched so well. Then there were Si Tengs outfits. Gorgeous! She dressed in more elegant clothes while ML wore typical modern clothes. There were fantasy elements that reminded me of cultivation dramas. And all that made the drama feel totally timeless. A rural beautiful location you wouldn’t know which year it is and the taking turns of modern and historical elements. It felt like I watched a mixture of historical and modern drama and it fit so well together! And then the OST! „Falling Star“ by Mian Zi is sooo beautiful and emotional! Even the opening was magnificent.

-✿ ALL IN ALL
The story was interesting. Lots of mysteries and more or less unpredictable twists. And its fun finding them all out. Very aesthetical pleasing and lovely dynamics between ML and FL. A very strong and confident but definitely not OTT female lead and a unique and kind ML. A very beautiful love story :3

I was very positively surprised. Finally a real woman as FL XD after this drama I will have difficulties going back to the usual naive FL chinese dramas... T_T

I don’t know if its for everyone...but I totally loved it. Give it a try ;) ❤

Time Loop: Curse or Blessing?

A time loop drama with lots of suspense and interesting turns of events.

As the synopsis already states, the drama is about FL whose life was about to end when the bus she was on had an accident. But instead she woke up again on this very bus, a few minutes prior to the accident. Soon she realizes she is caught in a time loop, doomed to relive this horrible experience over and over again. In her attempt to change her fate, she accidentally pulls ML into the loop with her. Together they need to find out how to stop the loop.

Since the Main Leads were caught in a time loop, the same event was repeated over and over again, through the entire drama. And yet they managed to never let the story become boring or repetitive. Every loop was different in a way. Be it the plan of the Main Leads to avoid the accident, or the outcome of it. There was always something new in each loop, making the drama interesting, exciting and less predictable. It was quite thrilling to sit and watch whether their next plan is gonna succeed or not. Some scenes really had me at the edge of my seat.

I was pleasantly surprised with the characters and acting. I loved both main leads a lot, and I also really loved their chemistry! It was interesting to see their differences and how they complemented each other. While our game creator MLs first thought was to save himself, our student FL wanted to also save all other people on the bus. It was very interesting how the incident slowly made them become closer to each other. Great performance by both of them!

I also enjoyed the stories of all the other characters on the bus. They provided lots of beautiful and emotional scenes. The acting of the whole cast was top-notch.

So? How to get out of the time loop? Is there a way to even stop the accident, and hope for everyone to survive? What's the reason behind the accident? How many loops are there gonna be until their destiny is final? Lots of questions to ask, and answers to discover. ;)

Forced to meet to save each other <3

Wow, I was really invested in this one. Triage is a romance + fantasy drama about emergency doctor Tin who gets caught in a time loop to prevent university student Tol from dying at the hospital after a car accident.

Tin had to come up with plans to prevent Tol's death. Because of the limited time he got before the loop resets, Tin's actions seemed random and out of the blue - and thus a little creepy and sus to Tol, which was super fun to watch! haha. Since he came up with different plans for each loop after a failure, the drama never got boring. I was interested the whole time, about how the next plan will turn out and what the butterfly effect will have in store.

To actually prevent Tol's death, he had to dig deeper into the cause and influences that led to that outcome. Because of that, Tin discovered corruption at the hospital, and how certain happenings are connected with each other. So there were quite some things going on in this drama, besides the developing romance between Tin and Tol. <3

What I really loved were the characters. Tin was super kind and someone who'd help people, hence he's a doctor. But he also has a different side. Tol, on the other hand, seemed like a brat who doesn't trust people that easily. But whenever Tol and his feelings got swayed by Tin, he had those incredible cute puppy eyes that looked so whipped for Tin. It was adorable! This also made me love their chemistry. Although I wished they had a few more lovey dovey scenes, since I liked them together a lot. But the story alone was definitely interesting enough.

What I can't judge is the portrayal of the medical stuff, since I have no knowledge in that field. But I appreciate the hard work of the actors who learned from actual nurses.

I also loved how the tables turned towards the end. I was hoping for that from the beginning, and I wasn't disappointed. I had lots of fun watching Triage. Thanks! <3

One of my absolute favourite dramas ever! <3

A fantasy-supernatural drama with a main love-story, and different eerie sub-stories taking up 2 episodes each.

Plot: Siu (ML) starts working as a security guard in "Twilight Mansion" where he soon meets the beautiful flight attendant Alex (FL), whom he falls in love with. But since some time ago he gets strange dreams which seem to be connected to Alex and Twilight Mansion… While searching for the truth, ML discovers lots of strange things about the building and the residents.

So the drama is set in the building Twilight Mansion, which has its own soul. It's said "The cat always chases the mice, but on days when there is a thunderstorm the mice chase the cat". Like damn! I love this kind of stuff, hehe ~
The building harbors a lot of secrets, tales and mysteries – and so do the residents of whom the sub-stories are about. There are lots of different genres, like mystery, romance, supernatural, suspense, fantasy and unpredictability. Everything that I love!
And then there is the beautiful past (60s) and present love-story of the main leads <3 It's so well told, intriguing and really pulled me in. A dramatic and beautiful story about love and destiny in a past and present life, finding its connection in their dreams, and being affected by the butterfly effect.

I found the past storyline especially beautiful with the clothing and interior, even the music and behavior. I enjoyed it a lot. I also really love the stories of the building, the cat and Lam. So cool! Perfect trio.^^

The main characters were quite mature. No cold ML, no naive FL, no cliché characters... just human. The ML was goofy but warm, and the FL was kind and independent. The acting was good. It was easy to get attached to them. :)

But also all the other (sub) stories, that were told in this building, were interesting. They were about mistakes. About loneliness, child neglect, the struggle of homosexuality, racism, losing loved ones, greed, status, beauty... and so much more. It was heartbreaking to watch since some of the stories ended well - others not. So it was always unpredictable and surprising how it will turn out. Even tho they were packed in fantasy, it were the stories of the every-day life, the stories of people. Every story has two sides, and somehow they were all linked together. :) Even the episode titles are enchanting: "Sleepwalking", "Strange Dreams", "Crow" - man, I'm so in love with this drama. xD

All in all, I'm totally smitten. I didn't expect it to be so good. But I got hooked and binged right through. It was cute and also emotional. Sometimes it was funny and even a bit scary (no Horror tho), and it was definitely interesting. I wasn't bored even for a second. It was perfect for me.

I'm sad it's over now tho. I don't wanna part with them all. I'll really miss it. ❤

Amazing story with pretty unpredictable twists!

First things first: I'd recommend ya'll to watch this drama without reading any spoilers. Avoid the comment section and don't click on any spoiler buttons. I swear it is so much fun not knowing what's going on, and finding things out slowly. That's why my review won't include any spoilers either, just some watching experiences I had. :)

-> I actually didn't really like the first episode. I loved the plot description, but the first episodes were rather slow and lenghty, which I usually don't like. But then, a few more episodes in, I got totally hooked. The drama got better and better and better. I loved it a lot! <3

● THE STORY & ITS TWISTS
The story was really cool, in my opinion. I'm a big fan of fantasy anyway, so this drama about gods/Kawas etc. totally catched my attention. I also liked the short stories at the beginning of each episode! The romance, as well as the pace, felt rather slow in the first half, it got better later tho, and I was ok with it because the story was interesting enough itself.

I especially liked the unpredictability and the twists. Sometimes I found scenes confusing, and sometimes I wondered what the hell was going on. From the very beginning I couldn't really predict how the story would proceed. Especially since I didn't read any spoilers, and because I didn't expected the story to start where it started.

I love it when things are unpredictable and not obvious. Although I admit, some flashbacks and location-changes were a little too confusing. I should have taken notes xD I still have some questions, but I can live with them lol. I'll just interpret them the way I want. ;) The ending was acceptable for me, it wasn't completely perfect for me tho. I'm a little picky, you see.

● CAST & CHARACTERS
Ok, so my favorite characters were 'Orad, Fali, and Kakarayan, haha. <3 I liked Toem and some other Kawas too. The FL was also ok, although in some very few scenes I wished for her to use her brain a little more.

I loved the ML and his acting a lot. He is super handsome, and you could see the feelings on his face perfectly. I would't mind having a guardian angel like that.^^

Let's move on to Joe Cheng lol, somehow I actually never really liked him, but here he was amazing! I was impressed by his acting, this role suited him very well. And then all the guest appearances - So many familiar faces!

● OST & OTHER ARTSY STUFF
The OSTs are all very good. I actually love them all for them being emotional and fitting, but my favourite is clearly "Be Yours" by Astro Bunny, which feels kinda magical. Especially since they used some lyrics in the Amis language, which sounds a little mysterious in my opinion.^^

Also, the short stories at the very beginning were very pretty. I liked the style of the illustrations. And I also enjoy the feeling of listening to some legends.

Not to forget the drama was full of interesting quotes. Unfortunately I forgot to screenshot them, but an example would be: "In every lie there is a wish waiting to come true".

● FINAL WORDS
I also have some opinions and theories about the ending and some twists, but I really don't wanna spoil anyone. I want ya'll to experience it yourself. It's worth it. So I'll keep them to myself for now. ~ Happy Watching! ~
My heart feels heavy now that the drama is over – which is proof of how much I enjoyed it. I felt impressed, I felt emotional, I got surprised, confused and had some nice aww-moments lol. I want more stories like that!

So, if you like fantasy and are interested in myths, are ok with slow paces and want to be shaken by some nice twists, then this drama is definitely for you! <3

Pretty unique concept, and nice message :)

"Hello Missfortune" is a short fantasy drama, with a romance-centered plot without any love triangle. The concept seems rather unique, and the story was very interesting.

Story

The story starts with our FL, Yu, arriving in the futuristic 2nd dimension, which is like a first stage of the afterlife, after having died in the real world, which is the 1st dimension. Here she has to work to gain points for moving up to the 3rd dimension. She wants to quickly move up to follow her parents, who have died a long time before her. The work is to either bring luck or misfortune to the humans in the human realm. Yu draws our ML, Pei-Ho, whom she has to bring a certain amount of misfortune every day. As he is poor and depressed already, she starts feeling bad for him, and also, through PauPau, finds a way to meet him in person. She falls in love with him. But things are not as they seem at first.

Cast & Characters

Yu (Female Lead), played by Erica, is a kind-hearted, sweet, and rather optimistic spirit. She has a big heart for others. Her goal is to follow her parents to the 3rd dimension.

Pei-Ho (Male Lead), played by Hubert Wu, is a kind-hearted but depressed person in the human world. He is very poor, and luck doesn't seem to be on his side. A past event made him feel unworthy of many things.

Pau-Pau (Second Lead Character), played by Mayanne Mak, is also a spirit in the 2nd dimension, and a total foodie. She is quite courageous and carefree. She is all talk, yet has her heart in the right place. She resembles an older sister, who leads you on to do forbidden things. xD I honestly like Mayanne a lot as an actress.

Tino (Second Lead Character), played by Mark Ma, is a boastful and carefree spirit in the 2nd dimension. He is a poser and a flirt, until he regains his memories of his life in the human world, that is. I liked him a lot too! ^-^

My Opinion

Although the romance stands in the center of the drama, the fantasy is still the main theme – Which I loved, since I'm a fan of fantasy anyway. Also, there is no love triangle or annoying character whatsoever. I liked all the main characters, as well as the acting of the respective actors and actresses. The emotional backstory of each character made me get attached to them easily.

I found the story about dimensions and "bringing misfortune" pretty unique. It was definitely interesting. Not only the story of the main leads, but also the stories of the second leads had me curious the whole time.

There are some scenes that felt slow and a little draggy at the beginning. It also had its fun parts, tho! The second half of the drama was a little darker. That's when elements of mystery, crime and suspense were added, much to my liking. I also liked the messages the drama delivered.

There were some things that bugged me a little, but overall I enjoyed the drama a lot. It was totally binge-able! If you like fantasy, and have some time to spare: Watch it! :)

-
Finally, I want to end my review with my favorite quote of the drama, that describes the story quite well:

"When one, two, three and four coincidences come together, they can't be coincidences. It's all meant to be. It's just that you are being too ignorant, or you don't know yet. When it's time for you to know, you will."

Funny, interesting and stunning character-portrayal!

Very beautiful story! The romance was definitely a slow-burner but strangely it didn't bother me at all. And although I get bored easily with something like law themed dramas, it was totally interesting! I don't know if it was all really realistic since I'm not a major in neither law nor psychology, but they explained it so well that is was at least easy to understand! :)

I really loved the character portrayal here! Evie and her identity disorder seemed realistic since she didn't just simply had DID - her attitude towards it was really relatable. At the beginning she was like "Why me? Why do I need to have this illness?" - upset and frustrated. That was so damn relatable. She was not the typical naive girl, but a very kind but strong woman. Maybe a little sassy but in a mature way. On the inside she was really vulnerable of course and the explanation for her multiple identities was soo good. :)

The romance was mature too. Not in a sexual way, but I mean they weren't desperate. ML wasn't obsessed like "I have to make her fall for me". Not at all. He respected her and her life and even her DID, and was simply there for her. He was goofy and totally funny to watch, but at the same time totally kind and warm. Benjamin Yuen was perfect for this role. :3

The actors did a very good job! Also FL for portraying 3 personalities - they were really all so different! Good job! Even with quick personality changes you could easily tell them apart by the way of talking and body language.

The closest drama to this one would be "Kill me Heal me" but with roles reversed and in "Threesome" the characters were -despite all- more mature.

I loved how well they explained the psychological therapies and also the law-things xD I could follow easily and so it was even interesting and understandable for me. I had much fun watching this! It was hilarious, emotional and addicting!

We got a very beautiful and satisfying ending. The FL came a long way and had a very good character developement. :) Much love from me!! <3

“They were never supposed to cross paths…”

Don’t get fooled by the boring title. “First Love Again” (FLA) is a very interesting and emotional time travel drama. While lots of modern Cdramas this year started nice but got boring halfway… FLA starts with an encounter that makes you curious – and then gets better and better with each episode until the very end.

●Story:
Ye Yuening (ML) accidentally travels back in time for a while and uses the chance to change a few things casually to the better. Turns out his whole future in 2019 changes because of those little decisions. He finds out he can contact his classmate Wen Xi (FL) from the past (2006) through a special phone. With this he tries to turn things back but instead it only gets messier and messier. And so, this changes the fate of himself - and also of Wen Xi.

The story gets super interesting. I really love time travel and this one really had a clear message. I got very curious about the time-travel-cause and the man in the costume. I was also always looking forward how MLs decisions gonna affect his future every time xD Later it got very emotional and almost broke my heart. I love to feel the feels, lol. There were also some mysteries. :) It even got a little confusing - which is even better since I love it when things are not simple.^^

●Characters:
The FL is not annoying! Omg! xD Not your usual high pitched cutesy gurl. I really liked her, especially the actress. She had this mature look – probably because of her cheekbones.^^ When she played the 18 year old high schooler – I believed her. When she played the 31 year old version in the future – I believed her too. Kudos to the stylists btw. ;)
Same with the ML. He also has this in-between-look. I believed him the 18 and the 31 year old versions. In general I really liked him as an actor. His visuals as well as his acting. He slayed in emotional scenes! Damn!

The side characters were likable too. And yes, I loved the Main Leads a lot. The acting was veeery good and I got easily attached to the characters. You could see in what ways they matured. Great performance!

●Details:
I absolutely loved the colors, filters, locations and cinematography. Very beautiful, especially the future timeline. 2006 had a pink-ish filter, the future had a green-ish filter. While pink often represents first love and naivity, green stands for growth and envy. Pretty fitting, but was it intended?^^
The Opening was spoiler-free! Instead they used pretty illustrations!
The OSTs were great too. I especially liked the Opening song and also “Time Machine” by MayDay, which they used.

●Time Travel:
I’m a big fan of fantasy stuff like that. It was very interesting. Small decisions in 2006 lead to greater changes in 2019. Basically ML, with every change, opened another timeline/universe which, of course, made it hard to turn things back. Since the time in 2006 progressed too, he had to somehow balance out the mistakes from before. Only later he found out how to use the time machine correctly… but everything comes with a price…

►All in all, this drama was a very sweet and also emotional love story, with time travel and some mysteries. I loved every second of it and never got bored. Yes, there also were a few annoying things, like some love triangles and stuff, but it was kinda light and also fast paced- so I didn’t even have time to be annoyed xD The high school timeline was pretty cliché but they switched between scenes of 2006 and 2019 a lot, which made everything perfectly dynamic. The ending was perfect for me!

This is definitely one of the better Cdramas this year. Only my opinion tho. ~❤

My favourite K-Drama so far :)

The story was awesome. It kept me watching like an addict. This drama contains everything I could wish for: Lots of mystery, lots of suspense, and romance. I think there could have been a little more romantic scenes but I guess it wasn't needed. If they put some more attention to romance scenes they would have had to at least add one or two more episodes. Of course I wouldnt have minded that at all. The dama wasn't too long or anything. It was perfect. Not boring even for a second. There were so many twists and turns and shocking moments, everytime I thought I figured something out: Bam! No way! Another twist. I loved that. It was not predictable at all. Every episode is interesting and makes you curious about the next.

I'm one of those, who loved the ending. I was very happy about that. Of course they could have made it an even better but under the ciriculumstances I think it was the best they could make. I kinda thought of some explanations for the ending part but that would be a spoiler so check it out under "discussions".
________________________
→ CAST/ACTING:
Great Cast! Song Seung Heon was perfect for the role of Black. His character had an good developement and thats also a part what makes this drama so addicting. I liked Go Ah Ra too but I got annoyed of her at some times. But I think her character acted totally reasonable. Then there are Lee El and Kim Dong Jun. Like Always I just couldn't stand the second leads. So they did everything right^^

The Loser Squad was adorable! I loved the other grim reapers and I especially liked Blacks grim reaper form at the beginning. All in all it was an amazing cast! There is no one I would have liked to replace with some other actor/actress.

AND THE BEST: Every character was needed for the story. Not just some random characters, who are there just to exist and fill empty spaces of air. Everyone had a story, which held the next piece of puzzle for the big picture. Everyones existence had a purpose.

→ MUSIC:
Of Course I loved the music too! "Take me out" was kinda the main ear catcher. I like this song pretty much. But Leesa's "Like a film" will always stay in my memory. When I hear this song my heart glenches and my eyes get teary! It fits perfectly to the drama.

→ NOTES:
You should watch it with attention and concentration or else you can't catch up and get confused later. "Black" is a drama, where thinking is needed. U should pay attention and remember every small detail. It all sums up later. I just love such dramas!

Have fun! Enjoy!

A fun but also emotional ride!

SWWT is a supernatural/romance/comedy drama that is rich in emotions. It's definitely not scary, rather it's fun, lovely and also emotional. I laughed a lot, but I teared up just as much too, especially since I grew on the characters, which are all so different.

PLOT
The story is about college student Stone who is supposed to die but his guide (grim reaper/ferrywoman/whatever) pushes his soul back into his body and thus saves his life. Which she actually wasn't allowed to do, so her punishment is to guide 10 lost ghosts to the afterlife in the next 50 days. Our ML, because of this remarkable experience, is now able to see ghosts and helps FL with her task, pulling his friends from his supernatural club along.

STORY
The story was very interesting. So we have a main plot with some twists about the Main Leads, which I absolutely loved. And then there is nearly in every 2nd episode a story about a ghost whom they need to guide. And this was very emotional at times. Most ghost stories were very touching. I also appreciate the issues they pointed out with them. This is a drama about friendship, love, youth and parting, packed in comedy and fantasy.

CHARACTERS
The characters were all individual and very different from each other, and that's exactly the reason I got attached to them so fast. The friendship between the characters of the supernatural club was very nice to watch. I was impressed how close they were to each other and how, despite the comedic elements, they still seemed pretty realistic.

There is the ML Stone, who seems goofy, outgoing and fun. Then there is Zuo Liang, MLs best friend who is an anime fan and hygiene freak and just as crazy as ML. Pei An, who is basically the only normal one among them. Jing Fang, her best friend, who also likes animes and talks in a very soft voice, yet is very strong. Ying Chen who seems like a shy guy but is very strong physically and kind too. And our mysterious FL Xiao Lu of course, the guide to the afterlife, who is kind and courageous (she's alone with that among them lol).

Then there are the black and white afterlife guides, who I also liked a lot! They were also fun to watch! :) I wish they showed us more of them since I found their story very interetsing too. I wish they would make another season just about their story, I'd definitely watch it!

ACTING
I was actually impressed by the acting, especially from the ML. The comedy was definitely a main genre here and they choose over the top acting (ott) for it. And it was surprisingly very well done (for me). I laughed so much at their behavior, the frightened screams, their expressions etc. It was perfect for me, and lovely. On the other hand: the emotional scenes were just as well done. They put a clear line between it, and that's what I liked.

MUSIC
The music made the emotional scenes even more emotional. I absolutely loved the OST they used (https://youtu.be/NeNq5RFYubc). It is such an extremely beautiful song and the opening clip was pretty cool in general, I never skipped it. Even the background music was noticeably awesome and fitting.^^

CRITIC
Even tho I loved the story and characters as well as the acting, I felt like something was missing with the romance. Maybe they should have shown us more scenes to get the feeling of it more. I enjoyed the drama nevertheless.

ENDING
The ending was both happy and sad in a way (in my opinion). I loved how they closed the circle tho (or how its called, haha).

ALL IN ALL
I loved the drama a lot. I laughed, I teared up, and I was interested through the whole drama without wanting to skip anything. I loved the comedy as well as the emotional scenes - and also the romance (main and secondary couple). I got attached to the characters, and I'm sad the drama is over. I enjoyed. <3

I really enjoyed this movie. We got historical, romance and bad boy in a short 1h30min movie without much drama. ^-^

I really liked the bad boy ML, damn he was hot and we got to see some nice shots of him. ;)
I also liked the bromance between ML and SML and also the frindship between FL and SFL. There was a love triangle or rather love suqare, but no real side-b*tch. The SLs were totally likable - even for me. They were really very kind. All obstacles were resolved quickly since its just a movie. So it felt rather light and easy to watch.

I also liked the beautiful costumes and scenery. :)
Sometimes some scenes felt a little cringe - but I didn't mind at all. The production wasn't probably the best either since at one scene I could see where the wig was attached, lmao. But such things really don't matter if the movie is good overall.

WARNING: I personally really like "bad boys". But here is a warning for picky, sensitive or easily triggered people: Bad boy means he was dominant, ordered FL around and forced some kisses (pecks) on her.

He acted cocky but like so often was actually really cute. He valued his friendship (ahem! Bromance) and yeah: the ending scene was really adorable! :3

All in all, I liked it really much! Probably gonna rewatch. :)

Nice chemistry and easy to watch

The Leads have veeery good chemistry! The FL is not annoying and the ML is no stoneface. Very refrehsing!^^
There is no real love triangle and we got a very sweet side couple :3 In general this drama gave me different vibes than the usual Cdramas. In a good way!

The story was interesting and their romance was beautiful! :) It was super easy to watch. I even wish it was longer. They could have made it twice as long and included the background story chronologically instead of giving us flashbacks. The flashbacks gave the drama dynamics tho... anyways, I enjoyed the drama a lot! :) This was not just a love story, but also with action/suspense involved. The Main Leads are a nice match :) <3 And I really loved the group of bodyguards too xD

For a modern Cdrama this was pretty awesome. Loved it! <3 I want to see more Cdramas like that!

And the award for the cutest dimples goes tooooo…..xD

Omg. This is definitely one of the best historical chinese dramas ever made. I loved it so much. The story was light and cute. More fluffy and easy to watch than other historical dramas. I was surprised. There was no annoying side character and also no disturbing forbidding parents etc. It was just about them and their story. It was so good! And also very funny at times xD. I laughed so hard!

I was so surprised of the main lead. His acting skills are actually very good. And he is so handsome...those dimples! But I also liked the female lead. Actually I loved all characters xD. The acting was really good of all of them. They made the right decision with this cast!

I'm glad I watched it. It was so cute, funny and amazing. Just WOW!
