At first it seemed as not so cringey Chinese drama with of course handsome and intelligent CEO as male lead and full of dreams poor beautiful female lead, yet suffering from cancer. Hell yeah it seemed so! It was an extreme rollercoaster of plot twists and cheesy lines of sexually ravenous male lead! Kidnappings, fake deaths, fake illnesses, evil parents, crazy enemies, omg, i had a great laught this whole time! I'd like to also mention quite interesting second male lead, i really enjoyed his sponteanous reactons and lines.

Leading actors are obviously great and it's fascinating to watch how they perfectly complement each other in this subtle game of shy gazes and smiles. History is very well-written and it revolves around the motive of 9 am radio broadcast. It was, however, somewhat tiresome to experience their all ups and down over around 20 years, sudden change of time to 5 years forward made watching film quite uneasy.
Showing reality of late 90s and first decade of XXI century is defintely one of this film's charms, as well as well-build characters that are authentic.
