The Typical Story Drama!!

Please tell me where and why you agree and disagree with me after reading this review.
Suggestions are welcomed.

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Getting to the drama~
I have actually dropped it at episode 15 but I guess my review might still be helpful.

Story: 4.5 >﹏<
So, this was a typical high school drama with two male leads chasing a beautiful female lead, the two male leads used to be best friends but after the death of their third friend they decided not to talk to each other due to some misunderstandings, the best friend of the female lead was in love with the first male lead, the first male lead was undergoing misunderstandings with parents, the second male lead's mother was very ill, the second male lead has dreams he doesn't want to fulfil due to damned reason, the female lead is misunderstood by her mother, the female lead's best friend undergoes many hardships such as being tormented by her father and all.
Too typical of a drama.
The 4.5 points are only because of the good imagination of the director/producer or whosoever for some scenes, like the scene from extraordinary you. (Thanks to this drama, I'll be watching that next).
So for me, this storyline was very humdrum.

Acting/Cast: 7.0
⨠Moon Ga Young as Joo Gyung, her acting was quite fine as an overall, although in some scenes it seemed lame, I guessed it's her acting that's lame because I quite liked the webtoon.
⨠Cha Eun Woo as Lee Su Ho, his acting was pretty alright as well, he seemed expressionless all the time but this time I think it's the character.
⨠Hwang In Yeop as Han Seo Jun, the badass boy and the little caring side to the cute shy boy (in some scenes including the underwear thing) was very well played. I would say I had the second lead syndrome throughout the drama.
⨠Park Yoo Na as Kang Soo Jin, I totally loved her acting as the strong lady with soft heart. The brightest smiles have the deepest secrets, she fits this motto really well.
And
I would like to especially appreciate the acting of a support actor:
⨠Kim Min Ki as Joo Young or Joo Gyung's younger brother, he totally rocked the naughty brother role.

Music: 7.0
The music was quite alright throughout.

Rewatch Value: 3.0
Since the storyline isn't that beautiful, the rewatch value totally sucks. Though you can still replay the particular scenes of the couple you ship.

Overall: 5.0

But still go ahead and try watching it since the tastes of each person is different, maybe you'll like it.

Hope it wasn't boring.
Lots of Love <3

Reset-ing YOUR EXPECTATIONS *chef kiss*

Hi there! Here's another disorganized review!
Why did I decide to watch it? Because well, I saw lots and lots of posts about it in the feeds and I love the cast!! Yeah, my first c-drama was Whirlwind girl, and well, maybe third or fourth was a little thing called first love!

Anyways, coming to the story,
the story was as disorganized at times as my review but still, it was lovable and understandable and of course, mesmerizing! (Is my review the same though?)
It was basically all the repetition of "I go back, I come back" and just like any other time-travel drama but then, what makes it special? The back-story and character development!!
I've always loved Chinese Wuxia and Xinxia dramas but I never actually "loved" the modern ones, but this one really reset-ed my opinions about such dramas!
The characters were all so annoying and suspicious at the start but the way they're portrayed, the way they make us understand them so deeply and of course, the slight romance in the dramas make this one a true masterpiece. So, I DON'T FOR A SECOND, REGRET BINGE-WATCHING THIS DRAMA A DAY BEFORE MY EXAM IN ABOUT 12 hours or so?

So, I'm sure you won't as well.
Though what I think is that this drama would've been really short if they decided to start investigating from the right person but bad luck is to blame sometimes.
Of course, all the characters were really special and great [except the murderer(s)]. I totally and fully loved Lu, the apostle of the cats, conquerer of Asthma, the chosen one of the light, Di and his sweet cat, look at her/him - https://mydramalist.com/profile/XieLalisa/feeds/ZwyRAsx

And of course,
how can we ever forget all the sweetness and lovely families of all the people on the bus?

Though I still don't understand why they entered the time loop (don't tell me the ghost/spirit/ or whatever of a person has the power to create a loop in the timeline and make two people enter it as well), it's still alright! I loved it regardless! So, I'm recommending it!
Go binge it right away!!

An Underrated Masterpiece

Please tell me where and why you agree and disagree with me after reading this review.

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Getting to the drama~
I just finished watching this drama, and I totally liked it. I have no idea why so less people have actually watched this. I came across this drama randomly and it's too good although if you start watching it you might want to drop it by episode 8 or 9, I would suggest you to keep watching it as it has a very meaningful and happy ending.

Story: 9.0
Till episode 10, this drama seemed to be going nowhere, that's why I rated this 9.0. Except for this fact, the story was quite nice, Xia'Er didn't have a good motive in the starting so I thought she would end up miserably but she went through many things and paid for it so I guess it's understandable she had a happy ending. This drama is basically a light hearted one with no kisses and all (something I don't like watching) but still I gave it a try and it went out pretty well.

The next is a MAJOR SPOILER for those who want to know how it ended (kindly skip it if you don't) :-
According to what the last scene was, soon Li Bai and Xia'Er would end up together and Chu Yin Yin and Xu Kong Lin have already confessed for each other indirectly and are kind of together. (just like many viewers wished it to end like).

It is very much like Who Are You: School 2015 except for its length and some story (I liked this one better to be truthful). The characters of Eun Bi, Eun Byeol and Chu Yin Yin, Xia'Er are also reversed and they don't come to find out about their childhood and all. That's the major difference but if you liked one of them, I'm sure you would like the other one as well.
This is the link to the drama I was talking about : https://mydramalist.com/13386-who-are-you-school-2015

Acting/Cast : 9.5
⨠Zhang Xue Ying as the twin sisters (Chu Yin Yin and Xia'Er), I would really appreciate her for the acting since both the sisters had totally opposite character. She was so good in the chemistry when it came to Chu Yin Yin with Xu Kong Lin or Xia'Er with Li Bai.
⨠Joseph Zheng as Xu Kong Lin, he played the shy and protective boy character really well and I loved him for it.
⨠Wang Bo Wen as Li Bai (I consider him a main cast), he did really well in all the scenes where he was naughty as well the one in which he told Xu Kong Lin about his mother.

I really loved the acting of all the support characters but two of them were too great:
⨠Wang Qui Zi as Teacher Lu, she totally rocked it !!
⨠Zhou Luo Ran as Li Ni Ke, absolutely nice!!

Music: 10.0
I totally loved the music, especially the song which went like ~ I love you love you love you (the english sub since I can't understand Chinese).

Rewatch Value: 9.0

Overall: 9.5

I totally recommend it.

Hope it wasn't boring.
Thanks for reading.

The Typical "Boys Over Flowers" story but with charisma!

{Might contain very very slight spoilers, I'm not sure really.}
Okay, I'm not a "fangirl" of EXO. But I pretty much like all their songs.
Talking about the drama, it was pretty short so I decided to binge it when I didn't feel like watching any of the 8 on my CW and about 15 on my on-hold, and about 190 on my PTW (this sucks!)
It's like an easy to binge, little rom-com series which you can watch on any busy day and when you need some sweetness and naughtiness of Baek Hyun.

I loved the scene when they gave her "something to watch", LOL.
Everything was perfect!
Except for the stupid, good-for-nothing female lead.
WHY??? Just why can't she think straight? I understand the blushing thing but you can't her idiotic things on it, can you?

Ok, I get it, a cold male lead with a sad past, or a not-so-sad past but a broken necklace which he was attached to and he fins it in the neck of his childhood crush? A cute second lead who has a crush on the female lead (I'm sorry I can't help but love him, I hope he gets someone better than the stupid female lead ;P). Okay, I get it, extra additional fun and nice friends to make the show enjoyable so it's 7/10 for the story.

The acting was good!

Music? Was there any music? Anyways, I rate it according to what I feel about EXO's actual music, so it's 9.5/10.
Rewatch value, no exactly but I don't want to ruin my rating, so ;)
Have a nice day!

Getting to the drama~
So, I completed this drama within a day which I something that I don't usually do but this one was mesmerizing. It's short and sweet also, the main characters and the side characters are lovely! It's a must-watch for everybody but specifically for teenage girls like me who are 15-19 years of age.

Story: 9.0
Since I decided not to give away any spoiler, all I'll say in this case is that the story was really really well-written though, there were some non-sensical mistakes here and there, it was quite fun to watch. Also, the little non-sense talks by teenage girls don't exist here!
This basically focuses on sex education which is really lacking in a country like Japan (I'm saying this since I study here). Masturbation, sex, LGTB+ communities, and other topics which are considered rather sensitive here are shown and explained very very properly. What's a healthy relationship? How to avoid sexual disease? You'll learn it all here!

Acting/Cast: 9.0
⨠Nagase Riko as Seino Sakura, I loved her throughout the drama! I totally did, though I won't say her acting was superb, she did well and she portrayed her character with feelings really really properly!
⨠Tanabe Ririka as Hara Tsumugi, she was my personal fav. female character and so, of course, it was well-played!
⨠ Akita Shiori as Minagawa Yuna did really well in acting, the stomach ache scene that she did was great!!

I really loved the acting of all the support characters but my personal fav character was Asahi Yu and of course, again, Mizusawa Rintaro did well portraying it!

Music: 6.5
There wasn't much music just a very few songs (or was it just one?).

Rewatch Value: 8.0

Overall: 8.0
(It's quite high for a Japanese series on MDL you see)
I totally recommend it.

Hope it wasn't boring.

A Tragic Love story full of AMBITIONS

Getting to the drama~
Story: 9.0
I had decided not to watch it 2 times before finally watching it because it has a sad ending. I'm the person who likes happy ending and after reading the ending online, I had decided never to try this but because of both the main leads, I decided against it in the end.
It's plotline was fairly nice, except some things.
The nice part:
I liked how the relationship of Hae Soo and Wang So develop. The first king was overly misunderstood by his children over and over again but most of them understood his value in life when he died or later. Wang Wook turning evil was a gradual process and not that "NOW I'M GOING TO BECOME THE KING FOR THIS BLAH BLAH REASON". In most dramas, by the end of it it would show that all the princes are the villians except the one our goddess likes, but here I was happy to see Eun being innocent to the end, I was unhappy since he died but atleast before dying he expressed his feelings for his wife. Jung was being overly possessive of Hae Soo but he was still innocent till the end since he didn't turn against his brothers. I had hoped for Baek Ah and Woo Hee to have a happy ending atleast because none of them had done any wrong but atleast they didn't separate after misunderstandings. We still have no idea of what happened to Wang Moo's daughter but it wasn't shown till the end. Queen Yoo is evil but she's still a true lover. Chae Ryung also truly loves Wang Won.

The part I hoped would have been different:
Yun Hwa should have been nice and innocent instead of evil, she had no reason to turn so. Woo Hee shouldn't have committed suicide. Wang So should have met Hae Soo atleast once before she died. Eun and Soon Duk should have survived no matter what, they were the most innocent ones out there. Jung should have told So that the particular girl was his daughter.
Also, I hoped Wang So (his alike to be more precise) would meet Go Ha Jin. I read online that the ending earlier decided was that his look alike would hand Go Ha Jin a handkerchief while she's crying in front of the portrait, I hoped it would have been that way. I also wondered why Go Ha Jin didn't try to find a way back except one time. Also, who was the Bok Soon (Wang Wook's daughter?) Baek Ah met? Whom did Wang Wook marry?

One more thing about it that I could not understand was the change in history concept. Choi Ji Mong said that Wang Yo's future had changed i.e. he was born with the star of a traitor and not a king but even before Go Ha Jin became Hae Soo, Gwangjong was the 4th king and not the 3rd but according to what Choi Ji Mong said, shouldn't he have been 3rd and after Go Ha Jin came back it should have been changed from 3rd to 4th and blood thirsty monarch to nice and wise king. If someone can explain that to me, please do.

Acting/Cast: 9.5
⨠Lee Joon Gi as Wang So, he had the best character which was also portrayed in a very fine way. He was unpredictable even by his expressions as his character. The smiles were just so cute like it should have had been. He could easily make us cry in the emotional scenes.
⨠IU as Go Ha Jin/ Hae Soo, I didn't like her character that much but her acting was quite very nice as well. Her chemistry with Wang So was very nice but not so good with the other princes except Eun. She was unable to make me cry in most of her emotional scenes.
All the other actors and actresses performed very well as well.

Music: 10.0
It was not monotonous and that's what I really appreciate about it.

Rewatch Value: 10.0

I recommend this to those who won't be hung upon it for not having a happy ending for any couple.

Hope it wasn't boring.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of love <3

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Getting to the drama~
This is the best suspense thriller drama that I've seen in months. 'Flower of Evil', after watching the drama I still don't get why it's name's that so I hope somebody can tell me that. There are many suspense thrillers out there in which the ending is going to be clear from episode 3 or 4 but it's not one of them, it's super addictive and the suspense is so killing..

Story: 10.0
The plotline must have taken a lot of them to think of. It's a true masterpiece. There were some coincidences that were hard to believe (I'm not revealing what coincidences since it would be a major spoiler then). I really loved how the past was revealed in the starting of the drama. I hoped the drama would tell us what became of Do Hyun Su's mother after she left, I hope if there's a part 2 this is included. I would also like to know what happened to Cha Ji Won and Do Hyun Su afterwards. I really liked the fact that the writer kept in his mind that Baek Hee Sung has been in coma for 15 years so he's not sly enough for the advancement in development, in many dramas the person wakes up from coma after many years and after 2 days he's very well settled with all the new things and devices and all. I really liked how the drama was only 16 episodes long but the story unfurled slowly and steadily which made it interesting. I also really liked the fact that all the misunderstanding the main couple had got cleared fast.
The story took a sharp twist at the end, I didn't expect it would turn out like that (the amnesia and the fact that was revealed about the death of the village chief). I think the last episode was a bit hurried up, the writer seemed to want to finish the story right there.
Anyways, this is a VERY UNDERRATED DRAMA.. too underrated I would say. This plotline was really really nice and so I totally recommend you to see this.

Acting/Cast: 10.0
⨠Lee Joon Gi as Baek Hee Sung and Do Hyun Su, his acting was really nice. He seemed to fit into the character really well. He actually made it seem like he could not feel things and he was really frustrated to find out what that kind of felling was that he had for Cha Ji Won.
⨠Moon Chae Won as Cha Ji Won, she's one of my favourite actresses, (and we even share our birthday) she's very underrated in the drama world despite her superb visuals and acting. She's one of the actresses who could really make me cry in the emotional scenes. I would like to appreciate her most for that since the emotional scenes she did seemed so much real. Her smile looked fake when it should have and real when it should have. So, choosing her was the best thing the director did.
⨠Seo Hyun Woo as as Kim Moo Jin, he really made it look like he was annoyed from whatsoever was going on. He was very great with his acting and the emotional scenes too, I hoped his character would have a happy ending with Do Hae Soo.
⨠Jang Hee Jin as Do Hae Su, she did really well fit into the character as well. She really seemed like a heroine when she protected Baek Eun Ha from the real Baek Hee Sung, I totally loved it.

Every other actor and actress did very well as well but I would like to really appreciate the acting of 6 of them:
⨠Jung Seo Yeon as Baek Eun Ha, she was so lovely in her acting. Superb work for such a little kid.
⨠Park Hyun Joon as Do Hyun Su [Young], he did really well in the role.
⨠ Im Na Young as Do Hae Soo [Young], she did portray the kind Do Hae Soo as well as Jang Hee Jin did.
⨠Jung Taek Hyun as Kim Moo Jin, he did really well when he saw the person in Do Min Seok's underground place where the unthinkable happened.
⨠ Kim Ji Hoon as Baek Hee Sung, he played really well the innocent side and the psychopath side.
⨠ Choi Byung Mo as Do Min Seok, he did really well in his ruthless and heartless character.

Music: 10.0
The music was really nice.

Rewatch Value: 9.0
Of course, there's no value in watching the whole drama again since you already know it's plotline and what will come next but still the romantic scenes can be enjoyed.

Hope it wasn't boring.
I hope you would just go ahead and have a try on this drama.
Thanks for reading.

Totally Enthralling and Spellbinding

Hi there!

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Getting to the drama~
Story: 9.5
This was the most creative and the most interesting time-travel drama I've seen so far. Although it's fictional, it's very logical as well and the rules don't change. I really loved the storyline although I love dramas only with a happy ending, I wouldn't say this one had a happy ending (maybe the last scene was just imaginary or a dream). Their were many questions which arise in the viewer's mind while watching it and the drama answers most of them. But I would really like to request a second part which doesn't involve time travel instead tell what happened after they destroyed that walkman.
1. Do Li Zi Wei and Huang Yu Xuan meet after the rescuing thing? (Like if the walkman has been destroyed the future changed so we can say that in the drama they never met after the rescuing thing, right?)
2. Why was there a scene in which 27 year old Huang Yu Xuan was sitting behind 18 year old Li Zi Wei in the year which seemed like 1999?
3. Where was Chen Yun Ru all the time when Huang Yu Xuan was occupying her body? What was the house like thing that she was captured in?
4. How come the last time Huang Yu Xuan time travelled she ended up in that house like thing which actually never happened before?
5. Why could Chen Yun Ru hear Huang Yu Xuan when either of them was in the house like thing while Huang Yu Xuan couldn't hear Chen Yun Ru when Chen Yun Ru was kind of practicing copying her?
6. What arrangement was it that day when Chen Yun Ru was supposed to die? Why did she already know Xie Zhi Qi would show up with some drug like gift? What was she talking about would hurt?
7. Who sent her the walkman? It was never properly clarified.
8. How did the hearing aid end up at the crime scene? We know Huang Yu Xuan was lying, so was it dropped when they brought her there to show her crime scene or is it another unsolved mystery?
Their were also several things in the drama which were never introduced as rules but seemed like one like the fact that the people who looked the same (for eg. Chen Yun Ru, Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei and Wang Quan Shuang) had different personalities which means Chen Yun Ru was shy, silent, scared kind of girl but Huang Yu Xuan was totally opposite, Li Zi Wei smiled a lot and was quite attracted to girls but the original Wang Quan Shuang was bullied, never smiled (as told by his mother on his funeral) and was attracted to boys.

Anyways, getting to the point, I would recommend everyone to watch this even those who like happy endings because this is a really nice drama, (for those happy ending people) if you suddenly jump to the ending you might feel very emotional and drop it so, see the whole drama in order, it's not that emotional.

Acting/Cast: 10.0
⨠ Alice Ke as Huang Yu Xuan and Chen Yun Ru, she very beautifully pulled off both the characters and their different personalities and the mixture of both their personalities when Chen Yun Ru showed afterwards.
⨠ Greg Hsu as Li Zi Wei and Wang Quan Sheng, I totally loved his acting, it was really nice, I liked the character of Li Zi Wei very much as well, that line "To be honest, I'm not Li Zi Wei...." totally took us for a moment as well.
⨠ Patrick Shih as Mo Jun Jie, his acting was very nice as well.
All the support actors and actresses did very well as well.

Music: 10.0
The music was so pacifying and nice. It seemed so profound.

Rewatch value: 10.0
It's so interesting and has so many twists and turns that you'll never be bored of it so, of course it has a high rewatch value.

Overall : 10.0

Hope it wasn't boring.

A Beautiful Tale ? Let's find out!! Keep on reading..

So this is my first time writing a review, please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere.
So, let's get to the drama.
**Before reading my review, kindly notice that it may contain some minor spoilers.**

Getting to the drama~

Story: 9.0
The story was abnormally amazing, I have watched many wuxia dramas but I feel like this one is the best one I've watched till date. The story has many twists and turns and you can't predict what's going to happen next unlike many other wuxia dramas. It's to some extent somewhat like a detective series I would say, although I'm sure many wouldn't agree with me. Just the way Yu Sifeng needs to figure things out about what's going on and Chu Xuanji misunderstands him again and again. Their both personalities are not a mystery, it's quite understandable what's going on. ❣
What was really good with the story:-
The constant misunderstandings are what it makes a drama although sometimes, it was quite emotional which is a good twist, I hoped it would have a little less misunderstandings, it was really nice though. I don't want to give any major spoiler so I'll leave it here. But most of all it had a happy ending. (for those little cute people who don't like dramas with sad ending like me.)
What I think should be improved :-
It would be better if it's a little bit more mysterious that's to say I don't like the way we know what's going on in the demon sect and what they're going to do next, what Yu Sifeng is doing while trying to protect Xuanji which also hurts her and all. The way nobody knows who really is Rahu Ketu till the mid was quite exciting although we just got the suspense over too soon, I would say that was a better part. It would have been better if just like in some detective series, we saw it as from the view of one person and then flashback. Like, we see what's going on from Xuanji's view or Sifeng's view then at some episode, they show us the back story. That would make it a little more inviting.

The story was pretty beautiful anyways. Lots of romance. So just go ahead and watch this blissful drama.

Acting/Cast : 9.0
So we have,
⨠Cheng Yi as Yu Sifeng, talking about his acting I would say it's really nice. He truly fits the character, the pain, the happiness is very properly portrayed.
⨠Yuan Bingyan or Crystal Yuan as Chu Xuanji, she totally fits the 16 year old her, the innocence she portrays at the starting is so realistic and so is the dominance she shows as the War God later on. She fits really properly into the two-faced character.
⨠Zhang Yuxi as Chu Linglong, from the dominating character on Little Six to the little puppet of Wu Tong, so beautifully done.
The acting was very satisfying overall.
What I didn't like was the editing in some scenes.
I would like to especially appreciate the acting of two of the support actresses:
⨠Yang Xi Zi as Lu Yan Ran or Little Silver Flower, the headstrong personality was strongly and perfectly portrayed, so was the sadness. Wicked!
⨠Liu Meng Rui as Yu'er or Liu Yu Huan's daughter, the stubborness to kindess and love was portrayed so beautifully.
** Please do tell me which of you like the acting of which particular support actor/actress and what exactly made you like it.**

Music: 10.0
I just can't describe it, I truly loved it. It was very related to the story and the scenes. My favourite one was the starting the song.

Rewatch Value : 8.5
The misunderstandings are too much, watching them again and again makes it boring so the rewatch value is only for the sweet scenes.

Overall: 9.5

Suggestions are welcomed.

The story was quite exciting and addictive. I totally loved the way all the characters were designed. I'm sure it would have taken a long time for the actual writer to make the character sketches because the character of no two people were exactly the same. The story was very vivid and full of twists. I was quite shocked myself to find out that Matsuko was a Girl Gun Lady. The thing I didn't understand was how could the creator of the parallel world erase the dead people and their memories along with their belongings in the real world, as it's not him who made it. Also, how can he create false memories and make it look so vivid just like in Matsuko's case. I was quite unsatisfied with the ending as I expected Alice to become a human since she was so nice and kind and also the last scene was confusing, was it Koharu's dream or was it real?
Overall the storyline was very nice and I loved it, so I'll totally recommend you to see this drama.

Acting/Cast : 9.0
All the actresses and actors were great in this. It's just that they couldn't make me emotional in the emotional ending, so I rated it 9.0.
⨠ Shirashi Sei as Tachibana Koharu, I totally loved her acting, she played it really well.
⨠Ohara Yuno as Alice, she was really good as well.
⨠Ito Momoka as Natsuna and Fuyumi, she was really well in both the characters.
⨠Deguchi Natsuki as Inada Akiho, I totally loved her in this drama, the cold but kind character.
The others did well too.

Music: 9.0
The music was nice but repetitive, I hoped for a new song.

Rewatch Value:9.5

Overall : 9.5
I totally recommend it.

Hope it wasn't boring.
Thanks for reading.
Lots of love <3

Zombies are zombies but are they zombies?

So, I'm writing this review in my not-so-usual manner, it's a bit disorganized but I hope you enjoy reading this!
There might be minor spoilers ahead, I hope you could proceed with caution!

To sum up this drama in a statement, it's all about "Here zombie, there zombie, everywhere zombie-zombie" and also, an even perfect explanation, let's have our own Hermoine-Ron story or basically, let's kiss with the basilisk around (dead!) (more like zombies here).
Anyways,
to put it simply:
This drama was pretty much alright for me. Though I still believe it wasn't the best zombie drama out there, this still was pretty nice and kept me hooked even though there were a lot of plotholes.
Then, there's something I would like to ask the screenwriter, "HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF ANTIBODIES TRANSFER?"
I hope they would have consulted some kind of a scientist of somebody of that sort before making up this ridiculous plot-hole of Gwi Nam biting Nam-Ra who doesn't fully turn while others do.
Well, I hated the female lead (On Jo) but anyways, I gave the story and cast and all a pretty okay rating because Soo Hyeok and Nam Ra exist!
It would keep you on your toes if you don't try to invest yourself in it and ask every now and then, was this decision right? Don't use your biology knowledge here if you ever want to enjoy this!
That's all I've got to say for this one! I hope you enjoy it if you decide on watching this and don't regret it if you don't cuz it's not a must-watch.
DO YOU LOVE ZOMBIE DRAMAS so much?
Go watch, THE TRAIN TO BUSAN, it's way better but anyways, this was pretty nice as well! (No hate)

Getting to the drama~
This is a great crime drama with suspense, it leads us to answers itself, here and there and everywhere. The plotline is very thoughtful, I guess the screenwriter was trying his/her best to make it more and more impressive by adding all sorts of crimes in it, prostitution, photography without permission, etc. The only problem this drama has was character development.

Story: 7.5
The plotline was very interesting, leading us to unexpected things but I guess the number of people who died was way too high than it should have been. There weren't many plot twists which is what I hated since plot twists make crime and suspense dramas like these, way more interesting. In about, 6-7 episodes, we were sure who the real killer was.
There was still a confusing thing which I didn't understand, Tae Ra saw Beom Jin and Soo Ah somewhere after which she started bullying her, what exactly was that?
Anyways, coming back, the character development was very poor, the main characters i.e. the teacher and the lawyer were very bland like how could she just reveal everything to a person when she's not even sure whether the person is a culprit or not. Alright, the lawyer is a temporary teacher but after many students find out about it and he no longer needs proof related to the school why does he have to stay there? They are not even trying to find clues, instead, they keep stumbling upon them by chance.
The spying app idea was good in my opinion. How the criminal is so good at law and he's so clever and intelligent but at the same time, he doesn't even care about being captured by the cameras? Like even if he's a psychopath, he's still intelligent and clever, he's using a girl for testimony that he was watching a movie the night Soo Ah died but he doesn't care about the cameras? He lets the balloon and letter fly, lets the child go away, he's such a dumb psychopath yet he's so clever. WHAT???
I didn't find Soo Ah any special, is she so beautiful, a goddess? Like, how come almost all the male characters in this drama want her?? Flirting with Beom Jin, having secrets with Gi Hoon, working as a prostitute, what more? Like, yes she was really pitiful after hearing her story, but it doesn't mean she can make bad decisions and not be blamed for it. She brought this upon herself and I feel like she was the most hateful character in this drama.
Well, no offense to those who loved it but this was really poor.

Acting/Cast: 9.0
The acting was quite satisfactory overall.
⨠Yoon Kyun Sang as Ki Kang Jae and Lawyer Ki, his character was ok but his acting was really nice.
⨠Guem Sae Rok as Ha So Hyun, I didn't really like her character, but she was good at her acting as well.
⨠Lee Jun Young as Yoo Beom Jin, being a great fan of Lee Jun Young, I felt a bit bad for his character in his drama, it was so dumb to create such a debatable character. Anyways, his acting as the cold killer was really nice.
⨠Choi Hyun Hwa as Prosecutor Cha, her acting was really nice as well, although her character was a bit confusing, why did she hate Lawyer Ki so much? Nobody knows. MYSTERY!!
⨠ Choi Kyu Jin as Lee Ki Hoon, his character was one of the few I understood in the drama, good acting anyways.
⨠Han So Eun as Han Tae Ra, I didn't like her acting very much, her panic scenes, sad scenes, etc. all seemed so fake.
⨠Kim Myung Ji as Na Ye Ri, I really hated her character and so I would say the actress played it well.

Music: 10.0
I really liked the rap regardless.

Rewatch Value: 9.0

Overall: 9.0

Hope it wasn't boring.
Still, you could just go ahead and try this drama as it was interesting with no doubt..
Thanks for reading.
Lots of love <3

Very Creative And Intriguing!!

Hi there!
Please tell me where and why you agree and disagree with me after reading this review.
Suggestions are welcomed.

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

So getting to the drama~
I would recommend watching it as I totally loved this drama.

Story: 9.0
The storyline was totally fascinating and creative. I would say the comic book they were actually living in was too monotonous and typical with a rich male protagonist and a poor female protagonist (the usual Cinderella thing). "Let's see my fate lies in whose hands." this is my favourite line said by Dan-Oh. Her character in the comic book that they were living in was so cheesy and sweet type but the real Dan-oh was so courageous I would say. "Dear writer, please forget all the gibberish I said until now." She was like a naughty child.
The parts where the story when wrong:
It was too confusing sometimes, people appear and disappear, even the past changes, rules keep on changing and also we never got to know what that dangerous black hole thing was. And we don't know how they met at last, they seemed to be in a different comic book but that wasn't introduced at all.
Also I agree with Dried Squid Fairy that this was a high school comic book but the students never study.
I liked the fact how they had pasts (as to being used again and again together in different comic books by the writer).
It has a happy ending though it isn't that clear.

Acting/Cast:8.5
So we have,
⨠Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan Oh, she totally fit the role, the hand movements seemed to fit her character but she failed to make people emotional in the emotional scenes. So, I think I would have liked Cheng Xiao to take her place, although she's a chinese actress, she totally seems to fit this role. But she was pretty alright as well.
⨠Rowoon as Ha-Ru, his acting was pretty good, as we can see in the behind the scene videos he's quite of an extrovert but her played the introvert and protective character really well.
⨠Lee Jae Wook as Baek Gyung, he plays the dominating side the best, the loving side seemed a bit lacking but I guess that was his character so, he was pretty good.
⨠Lee Na Eun as Yeo Ju Da, maybe it was her character or her acting, I'm not sure, but nothing seemed to be coming out from her heart, it all seemed too superficial, I would have really liked somebody else to take her role, anybody who would seem a bit more realistic.
⨠Jung Gun Joo as Lee Do Hwa, his acting was very nice throughout, especially when he says those thing related to "the way a supporting character would have" or "I seem to pity myself" and all, the only point when his acting was fake is when he is reading the comic and starts crying for Ju Da.
⨠ Kim Young Dae as Oh Nam Ju, he played it pretty well. The cute person, the domineering person, each side of his character was played well.
⨠Lee Tae Ri as Dried Squid Fairy or Jin Mi Rae, his acting was superb! He very properly gave his expressions when being childish, worried, giving warnings and all.
The acting of all the support actors and actresses was very well as well.

Music: 9.0
The music was very nice throughout. Although it was very repetitive, I liked it.

Rewatch Value: 10.0
Although there were some confusing parts, it has a very high rewatch value because you'll rarely get tired of some of the actors and actresses and the intriguing and unexpected twists and turns.

Overall:9.0

Hope it wasn't boring.
Lots of Love <3

Too Disappointing

BE CAUTIOUS, SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Getting to the drama~
I have actually dropped it , so I would recommend you to go through all the spoilers content in other reviews as well for an idea for the story and if you think you like it, just watch it since everybody has a different taste.

Story: 3.0
So, in this, there isn't accidental travelling to the past or future (quite unique, eh?).
The first to episode were quite interesting so I gave it a shot anyways, I thought it would be interesting but the story couldn't keep the viewers interested till the end, it started to become monotonous and very confusing. So they're messing up with Physics' Quantum Theory, using the multiverse theory of time travel and destroying the parallel universe they're travelling to.
Oh please, NO!! It's logical in the starting but it's all getting so so so messed up by the end. THE BOOK OF PROPHECY, what's it? Please, you're all scientists researching various things and suddenly you're all behind the so called prophecy, superstitious thing. It shouldn't be called a sci-fi drama with that book of prophecy in it, such dramas are called FANTASY DRAMAS.
They all seem too intelligent, smart and clever in the start but by the end you'll realise they're just humans overcome with emotions trying to kill their own past selves, by travelling in the future. My God, it's such a stupid thing.
They are just trying to the Prophecy by tracking down the current owners. My dears, go back to the past, find the weakest owner and get it if you're so desperate.
So, for me it's just a non-sense drama using physics and some machines and gadgets as a base to call itself a sci-fi.
And the most irritating thing is that the main leads (Professor and Detective) seem to fall for each other from episode 5 or 6.
I was like WHYY? You people are scientists, right? Ever heard of a term called consanguinity, well that's for siblings, I don't what would happen if you basically start to date your mother's past self, so it's just your mother. She's your mother's past self, how can you just do this?? It's too annoying.

Acting/Cast: 9.5
Just a waste of talent......

Music: 5.0
I basically hate the romantic music, anything else is alright!

Rewatch Value: 1.0
Nope, there's no way you would like to rewatch it. Atleast I wouldn't!

Overall:3.0
Too disappointed

Hope it wasn't boring.
Sorry for all the sarcasms and all if you feel offended but that's my honest opinion.

Getting to the drama~
So it was a bit more creative than the regular high school or college romance dramas you see but it all got a bit messed up because of the bad editing or bad acting (in some of the scenes) or a bit of the storyline which went wrong.

Story: 7.0
The story was quite interesting in the starting, the screenwriter seemed to have done quite a bit research about zodiacs since he/she actually included the Ophiuchus but he/she seemed to lack a bit when he decided which power should be given to whom. I think the powers should have been according to the personalities of the zodiac people but it was a bit superficial like the leo (meaning lion) had a roaring power. The people seemed to like fighting more like normal people or muggles (since some reviews here say it's a bit like harry potter, I'm adding yes, it's a bit like harry potter but harry potter is a totally new level so, I won't compare.). The Ophiuchus have been introduced as people of high IQ so I expected them to be cunning but they actually turned out to be cute little buddies trying to seem intimidating.
The competition was a total mess, like who gives them tasks which are so easy, cook hotpot?
There were some things which were unexplained till the end like the medicine TAN gave Tianze roaring power but made the others into the COS army. Why?
Why was the leader Ophiuchus able to use the powers of 2-3 zodiacs?
and many more.
Everything else was okay except the fact that I never understood why it's written a parallel world in the description since I don't see everyone having these zodiac superpowers.
To be honest, (some people will hate me for this but) I liked the chemistry of Bai Bai and Zhou Dong more than Fang Tianze and Cheng Zi'er. Fang Tianze and Cheng Zi'er seemed to have been in love ever since they were born, no falling in love process was there.
The story was a little bit thriller.

So, it's quite recommendable.

Acting/Cast: 7.0
The editing was very poor, like the falling off the rock scene, etc.

⨠Xiao Zhan as Fang Tianze, he was quite okay overall. I quite liked him in "The Untamed" but here, he seemed so out of love with Cheng Zi'er and also not every expression was good. All I would say is that he's improved a lot in this industry ever since.

⨠Wang Yu Wen as Cheng Zi'er, her acting was okay as well. She didn't exactly pull on the character, her acting was so good in some scenes for eg. the falling of the rock scene or escaping from Ophiuchus with Fang Tianze scene (well, I apologize for such lames names, but they explain exactly what I'm talking about.). She didn't seem to be in love with Fang Tianze instead, her chemistry seemed better with Wan Shi Cun at times. (I'm not shipping them, I'm actually totally against them getting together in the drama.)

⨠Bai Shu as Wang Shi Cun, his acting was good, here as well as in Love and Redemption, he performed quite well.

⨠Wu Jia Cheng as Shen Hao, he played his role alright as well.

I really liked the acting of:
⨠Xu Xiao Lu as Huo Bei Bei, she did really well in the broken heart scenes. (I'm not saying I like her character but I don't hate it as well since I'm a Scorpio myself and I know the actress isn't a Scorpio, just the character is.)

Music: 7.5
It was nice overall.

Rewatch value: 7.0
Definitely worth it if you like the chemistry of any of the couples.

Overall: 7.0

Quite alright.
So, just go ahead and have a try.

Hope it wasn't boring.
Lots of love <3
