Let's start with the story. Firstly; if you do not like a lot (and I mean A LOT) of drama, I wouldn't recommend Faith. I myself have never been huge on melodramas or frankly over dramatized shows, and at first I decided to only watch Faith due to Lee Min Ho. But I am very glad I picked it up again and finished it! Although there is a lot going on in this drama, everything leading up to the last 5-6 episodes is worth the heartaches and tears and pain you may feel throughout this show. There is most definitely romance in this drama. Although at first it is only very light, their relationship develops slowly but it's so bittersweet, you can't help but fall in love with both Eun Soo and the General as well as with the King and Queen. Although I am quite disappointed with how things ended, there could have been more. More romance, more... everything. A better conclusion, but that is the only thing that bothers me. The cast is fantastic. The only actor I have known prior to Faith was Lee Min Ho (whom I absolutely loved and adored in this drama! His best work yet!!) Also the Queen, whom has been portrayed by Park Se Young. She made a minor role in Love Rain as the girl trying to steal the main love interest away, so I detested her. In Faith, however, I love the Queen. Strong willed and hearted, she won't let anyone command her - not even the King. At first I found Kim Hee Sun's character Eun Soo quite irritating and annoying. But who could blame her?! She got kidnapped and sent to the past; I would be whiny and angry as well. At things developed, Eun Soo managed to adapt to her situation and I fell in love with her. She is a very strong character, and I couldn't imagine anyone but Kim Hee Sun portraying her. The music was beautiful. Faith's OST is brilliant. My all time favorite OST as of today (in all accounts). At times possibly set a bit awkward in the show, but for the most part the tracks were played perfectly. While they were playing, you could feel the characters' emotions when they were hurting. Or when something big was about to occur - you simply knew it by the track. Things were gonna go DOWN! Rewatch value is an 8 due to the fact that I do not often re-watch dramas, especially when my to-watch list is so long. But Faith is simply a drama I will buy on DVD and rewatch very, very often in the future. Overall this drama receives a 10/10, because... just because. No questions asked, best drama I have watched.
