Here for Jeon Yeon Been only :)

If you watch this drama because wanna know how FL saved her late boyfriend by time traveling, you're not gonna find it. FL traveled to the past to save Minju LOL. Both the director and writer are failed to deliver the story. Here is why:

The writer developed the story really well when Jun Hee trapped in Minju's body, but not when Si Heon trapped in Yeon Jun's. Why i wanted it to be developed? Because, when i reached 9th or 10th episode, i was sad knowing that actually, Jun Hee has been loving Si Heon who trapped in Yeon Jun's body all along. That's why, imo, this time travel is also meaningful for Si Heon, not only Jun Hee buttt again, Si Heon's story wasn't really developed by the writer.

There were some parts i wish they developed for instance; I want Si Heon, who just trapped in Yeon Jun's body in 2007, to be as crazy as Jun Hee who always talks about the time travel. I also need their lovey dovey moments during that year to develop, so that when Yeon Jun died in 2022, we as viewer will feel the grief Jun Hee experiences. Why we should feel Junhee's grief as viewer? IMO and from my POV, this time travel is to satisfy JunHee's grief, because she is able to meet someone who resembles her late boyfriend, not because she wanted to prevent her late boyfriend from dying, she's just happy meeting Si Heon who resembles Yeon Jun.

If only the writer focused on Si Heon's time travel and developed the story from Si Heon's POV started from episode 6, i think it would be so much better. Because it's gonna make sense why Yeon Jun and Junhee met in university and then they fell in love, same goes with Junhee, it's gonna make sense to us why Junhee time travel to the past and met Si Heon.. But in the end, the writer makes us think that JunHee did time travel to save Minju, like for what? She's not a part of Junhee's life in the future, she's also not a threat for Junhee's life both in the past and future. Si Heon also never liked Minju in the past. So whyyyyy towards the end of the drama, the writer focused on saving Minju????? Hello, writernim???

Let's talk about the cast. When i watched the first episode where Si Heon, In Kyu and Minju were punished for being late. I knew right away they cast the wrong ML :p just my opinion, i have Nam Joo Hyuk in my head the moment i see Si Heon who was so friendly, cheeky and playful. Throughout the drama i was like, oh i wish it's NJH.

AHS is suitable being cold and cool just like Seo Woo Jin on Dr. Romantic (i don't watch Business Proposal, tho). Or i can say, he's kinda failed to be Si Heon, there's still Seo Woo Jin vibe on him. Therefore, as for the character, imo, there seems no contrast between ML and SML. Because SML is portrayed to be quiet and a loner.

What made me staying until the end was only for Jeon Yeon Been. Unfortunately, imho, she still looks too old for a high school student (don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of her). Compare to AHS, which all of sudden NJH popped in my mind, i didn't have any name popped up in my head as to who is better portraying JunHee and MinJu.

Speaking of JYB's acting? 8.5/10. I was in awe on episode 11 or 12 i forgot, when Jun Hee sat in Si Heon study desk, immersed in his drawing and all of sudden it took her back to the future. After few minutes, she traveled back to the past and suddenly stood then hugged Si Heon without saying a word. By the way she walked,I knew right away it was Min Ju, no longer Jun Hee, even with her gesture, she proved how good actress she is. (if you have watched 'till the end, you know which scene i talked about).

The director could not bring the best out of the cast (?)

In ATCY mostly i'm not satisfied with Ahn Hyeo Seop acting, he's good on Dr. Romantic 2 and 3, but not here. I know he is supposed to be bubbly and friendly as Si Heon, but still no fun...

Director should be really detailed in directing the actors to be similar to the role they take part in. Until the end of the episode, only Yeon Been is the star, even i watched on Netflix she said there was line she changed so that fit with the circumstance. Showing how immerse she is in her role as both Junhee and Minju. It takes two to tango, not only the director but also the actors who are willing to do more.

Behind the scene of every drama has been my favorite since i'm in kdrama land. Because as a viewer, i learn how the director direct the drama. For instance, when i watched bts of Vincenzo, how the director wasn't satisfied with actors' intonation and gesture, she would told the actors to perfecting certain part.

To conclude, as someone who never watched the original version, this is 7.5/10 from me.

Here for Softie Won Jun

Doona, an idol, is escaping reality and meeting an ordinary uni student, Won Jun who happens to live next door.

Won Jun, a male lead i wanna protect at all costs. Innocent, cute, reluctant but straightforward at the same time. When he cried, i also cried with him :')

I love his character development. I wish Kdrama writers write more male lead like him just like Ji Ho from One Spring Night (2019).

People debating the ending, it's happy ending for me. Just like we all know, idol is dating in private.

There are several drawback from the story

First, the transition was too fast from lovey dovey to their separation. I wanna see Won Jun happy and smile, not overwork.

Second, Doona got caught had jjangmyeon with Won Jun was not portrayed as "scandalous", i want something being exaggerated just like in real life when we find idol is dating someone.

Third, they don't have scene when Won Jun tells Kooksu that he has been dating Doona. Throughout the episode i wanna know his reaction, tho.

Overall, 8.5 from me. It was because Won Jun i stayed :D

Regardless the rating, please watch 'cause i love it!

This drama is not for people who love fairytale, nor who expect chaebol CEO loves poor girl, nope. This drama is for those who wanna be loved endlessly regardless their flaws and brokenness. This drama is full of emotion, loses and hopes. About a messed up woman who happened meeting faithful, real and soft-hearted man who changed her love life 180 degree.

I know i'm 3 years late, i watched this drama when it aired but dropped it on 2nd episode because the interview scene was bothering me. But now i'm in the mood of watching healing drama and tried this one regardless the rating. Because i know, Kim Ji Woon is never disappointing :) Surprisingly, I found myself loving it so so much. The chemistry between JCW and KJW is on another level.

Jae Woon, he isn't childish but, when he loves someone, he loves her endlessly. He is pure and softies. So that, when he was left unnoticed, he acted like someone has taken something away from his life. It's like what he said, "it would be better getting breakup and knowing the reason rather than being left without closure."

Sun Ah. Well, for me, Sun Ah is not like Ko Moon Young on IOTNBO who is badass or Yoon Se Ri from Crash Landing on You with high rank career and power. She is portrayed as a free-spirited woman with confidence and witty attitude. While Eun Oh is the opposite; full of doubt and low self-esteem.

The way Eun Oh kept on rejecting Jae Woon was not because she doesn't like him or being all b*tchy, it was because she hates herself as Eun Oh who (she thought) was weak and stupid. She knows that Jae Woon loves Sun Ah who has bright personality, not Eun Oh.

My most favorite scenes were two, first when Jae Woon asked Soon Ah to get married, when a man knows she's the one, he's gonna say it right away. Second when Jae Woon didn't wanna drive because it was raining, then he started to lean his car seat, looked at Eun Oh as if he wants to "kill her" with his gaze. Gosh, watching them waiting inside the car was killing me whoaaaa, it made me nervoussss like i could feel the awkwardness of Eun Oh >.<

Out of all 'escaping the big city' type of dramas, this is my most favorite. For those who like realistic and relatable love story, this drama is for you. It's not for everyone. Kuddos to all the casts and crew.

Here for The Chemistry Only

Usually the Police or Army or Firefighter type of drama will have doctor as female leads, then natural disaster comes so the couple will meet during that period. But not this one. That's why, for me, it's a bit draggy. It's like the writer had no idea what else to write to complement the main story. I literally skipped and only watched Lu Chen and Gu Xiao's part started from episode 13. I also wish the leads' friends would develop feeling and all, but no.

Now let's get into my favorite parts:

This is my first Tan Song Yun drama and second Chinese romance drama that i watched. Love the leads' chemistry. I mean by love is L.O.V.E.

First episode when they met again for the first time at gas station in 2018, GX asked LC, "do you still remember me?"
Then LC answered, "i will still remember you even you turn into ashes." THAT WAS INTENSE and IT GOT ME HOOKED.

Then two years after, when they crossed path in snowy Qining (am i right?), they were still reluctant to talk and look at each other. The acting was so natural i felt the distant, hesitation, love, regret etc etc between the leads. LIKE, it was so real even i wanted to scream, "OMG Gui Xiao i know you regret dumping him. I'm sure right here right now you wanna hold and hug him really bad."

After they reconciled, the episodes were bland and boring. It was only them on LDR then make out whenever they reunited.

To conclude, now i want my very own Captain Lu Chen... can I have one like him? He owns all the love languages: touching, quality time, words of affirmation and act of service.

I wanna thank the director, screenwriter and casts. WOW. For 7 years i was on Kdrama land and never even once I liked office type of dramas, until this Cdrama Flight to You stole my heart.

TBH, i hated Cheng Xiao on the first 8 episodes because she acted know it all. Thankfully, the story and her character started to develop when she was put on the Ground Handling team. As someone who is new to Cdrama, i just found out that the first 10 episodes are appetizer :P

I also love how the writer wrote CX hot and cold relationship toward GN; one day she's all flirty, the next day she acts all cool.

Speaking of favorite episodes, I loveee 17th episode when Gu Nanting finally knew CX was the tenant; their acting and chemistry were top notch.

Then 18th episode when CX invited the people who helped her getting through the crisis for dinner, the seating part was so funny even i kept on repeating it.

22th episode when Gu Nanting did presentation about Gender and Profession, that part was so brilliant it led GN being reinstated because of how he envisioned the airline's future with female pilot in it..

Also the episode when she asked Ni Zhan to take care of her parrot in front of GN; she wanted to make GN jealous and she nailed it, GN spent hours in a car, it cracked me up.

It's been a month i'm on Cdramas land and enjoying it so mucccchhhh. Look forward to another office Cdramas :D
