If you're into a completely badass characters this drama is for you!

Honeys is one of the best jdrama that I've ever watched it's rare to find a jdrama with a badass characters. This story is about three sisters who works as a debt collector in Honeys-shark loan organization. What's great about these three sisters is that they make sure that the borrowers would never miss having their money collected by these badass women. Every episodes have different kinds of clients who borrows money from Honeys.

I can say that I love the actresses who played the role in these drama: Yu Takahashi the sister of Maryjun Takahashi seems at first glance she is very similar from her sister and her acting skills too! I hope Yu can have her main lead role because she proved that she nailed as a badass role in this drama. I also commend the acting skills of Kato Konatsu and Sayaka Kakehashi because both of them are cute but at the same time they show their badass side! Lastly, Yumiki Nao always steals the show because of her costumes and colorful wigs she wear every episode that I always look up on her cute style! I hope she will be given more main lead roles!

The clients are the depiction in real life about Japanese people who always used to borrow money from creditors or loan sharks. As witnessed that every person have its reason to borrow money it can be bad or good. Lesson learn for every each one of us is to not to rely on borrowing money from the shark lones. We should prevent ourselves from overspending money from unecessary things. We should learn how to value money but in a right way. One must work hard rather than depending on loan sharks and creditors.

A mother that wants to loose weight

I just watched this drama because of Jang Young Nam who usually play the role of villain... but this time she will portray the role of a mother <3
This short film depicts about a beautiful mother who wants to loose weight but keeps on gaining weight. During motherhood, it is common for a mother to gain weight because of her hormones and the food she eats are the factors. The mother doesn't have self esteem and conscious of her weight. She gains weight because of her family such as getting the food on the floor so that it won't end up being wasted and left overs by her kids will be ended up consumed by her.

I really don't see anything fat about the mother because she is still pretty and being loved by her family. One must embrace body positivity! Jang Young Nam is a pretty mother and I don't see any flaws from her!

I love this short drama!

Good drama with poorly written characters

"No matter what anyone says, I will never give up. Like the Sun in the Sky" - Kang In Kyung

Insights:

This drama is a depiction of society during 1970's. This is an inspiring drama where a woman have undergone through ordeal. Because of her positive and bright attitude it made her to the top to become the Korea's best actress. This is a life lesson to everyone that we can start from scratch until we reach it great just like Kang In Kyung who never gave up despite her dark past which serves as nutrients for her to success and reach her dreams.

I watched this drama since I am curious about Yoon Ah Jung acting as a protagonist for the first time. I really love Yoon Ah Jung more as a protagonist rather an antagonist in Yellow Boots. It seems this role really suits her as Kang In Kyung because of such positive and bright attitude.

At first, I find it really promising at the earlier episodes. However, it's so draggy that needs to skip parts during later episodes. So many toxic characters that I cannot handle. The most annoying character is Nam Hee Ae because she is way too naive when it comes to love and doesn't care whenever Cha Min Woo does bad and she acts immature bitch who always yaps at her father for not getting what she wants and envies Kang In Kyung.

Cha Min Woo always gets in my nerves all the time since he is the number 1 villain in this drama... This drama has lot of villain. Lee Seo Yeon, Lee Hyung Ok, Mr. Ma, and Byun Geun Tae are freaking annoying like they love to pull down In Kyung on their way but they're such a fail!

The character with the most character development is Park Mal Soon the stepmother who used to hate In Kyung because of her birthmother who used to be the first wife of her husband but she deeply care and loves In Kyung for she is a kind woman.

My favorite character is Hong Soo Ji because she is a strong woman that no one gets in her way but the problem with her is that she is so yappy that she always confide Min Woo and she ended up dead and I hate it!!

I have respect on Nam Jung Ho's character because he married In Kyung despite her dark past and accepted Seung Joon as his child even if he is the son of Min Woo. I can say Jung Ho is an epitome of a real man and a modern man nowadays who doesn't care if they married a single mother.

This drama would have been perfect if:
>Kang In Kyung wouldn't have let Cha Min Woo for warning him
>It would have been better if Hee Ae would have her character development in the middle part of the drama
>50 episodes are enough to suffice the contents of the story
>Cha Min Woo should have sincerely apologized to In Kyung before he died

Story:
This is about a country girl Kang In Kyung who lives in poverty along with her step mother and her younger step brother Han Soo. In Kyung moves to Seoul in order to earn a living for her family as a bus attendant. She also attends a night school and she met her first love Cha Min Woo-who is a playright in a theater. There is one woman who also likes Cha Min Woo named Nam Hee Ae. She is so clingy with Min Woo and confesses to him many times but Min Woo rejected Hee Ae many times. Hee Ae would not give up on Min Woo and she is jealous at In Kyung.

In Kyung was treated unfairly by her boss-Byun Geun Tae and her manager in her workplace that they would even find flaws in In Kyung. In Kyung was also falsely accused in her workplace by stealing the funds of her boss but Nam Jung Ho witnessed that In Kyung was innocent. They even made up a story that In Kyung had an affair with the President of Baekdu Films - Nam Jung Ho whom In Kyung met during a collision of her bus and the car of Nam Jung Ho. Cha Min Woo found out the rumor about Jung Ho and In Kyung's affair made up by Geun Tae and Mr. Ma. In Kyung tried to explain with Min Woo but he lashes out his anger at In Kyung and he eventually broke up with her and he goes to Hee Ae.

Later on, In Kyung found out she is pregnant with Min Woo's child. She eventually quits her work as a bus attendant and she confides to Min Woo about her child. Rather than being persuaded, Min Woo shuns In Kyung and doesn't accept that he is the father of that child and regrets that he fell in love with In Kyung. Hee Ae promised to Min Woo that she will help him out into becoming a film director and a writer in the Baekdu films.

In Kyung decided to be a single mother to her child and she told Geum Soon about the child and keep it as a secret between her and Chil Bong and without informing Choon Ja, Han Soo and the step mother about the child because In Kyung doesn't want to bring burden for her family. So, Geum Soon aided In Kyung to hide until the child arrives that day. In Kyung gave birth safely however, she pass out and unfortunately her stepmother found out about the secret birth of In Kyung. The stepmother was mixed in emotion and questions written on her face. Geum Soon told everything about In Kyung's ordeal in child raising. The stepmother doesn't want In Kyung to be a single mother even if there are times she would pick at her stepdaughter. She decides to lie with In Kyung that her child died during delivery so that In Kyung would prevent from being ostracized by the society. During 70's, single mothers are often treated as an outcast. The stepmother doesn't want In Kyung to end up like her raising two children alone. The stepmother puts up the child in the orphanage but Geum Soon later on takes the child and took care of the child in her family.

In Kyung slowly gets over her dead child. She mets Hong Soo Ji the stylist of the parlor. In Kyung decided to be an actress and Hong Soo Ji groomed her into an actress. In Kyung have several dramas wherein she is the main lead and her rival actress is Yoon Mi Hee who used to be one of the bus attendant of Byun Geun Tae. Min Woo is salty everytime In Kyung succeeds in his evil plan. He is willing to destroy In Kyung by digging up her past but he ends up failing to do so because In Kyung warned her.

In Kyung founds out that her child is really Seung Joon. Geum Soon and the stepmother apologized and explained that it's for her own good that they did this to prevent her from being ostracized by the society. They just want her to have a happy life. In Kyung starts taking good care of Seung Joon. However, everybody in the Baekdu films found out that Seung Joon is In Kyung's child

Hong Soo Ji is aware of Min Woo's evil tactics and saw everything: the car accident, the fabrication of evidence about the marijuana to make In Kyung put behind bars, disqualify In Kyung as an actress by breaching the contract because of love scandal but then he failed in his evil plan. Min Woo pushed Hong Soo Ji in the stairs made her fall into coma and have amnesia as she wakes up so that Min Woo would have the incident of stairs accident will be buried forever. In the end, Soo Ji remembers about Cha Min Woo did to her. Min Woo was furious and destroys the brakes of In Kyung's car so that In Kyung wil be accused of murder of Hong Soo Ji. In Kyung was found innocent because Da Eun witnessed what happened during the day when Cha Min Woo broke the brakes of In Kyung's car.

In Kyung married to Nam Jung Ho which is at first the chairman was disapprove of his son's decision but later on agree because Jung Ho lied to his father that Seung Joon is his real child. Yoon Mi Hee, Min Woo and Hee Ae is against the marriage of In Kyung. In Kyung suffered in the Nam household for she is not given a right treatment. Later on, the Nam household found out that Min Woo is the real father of Seung Joon and made the chairman infuriated at In Kyung and Min Woo. Seung Joon blames himself why the grandfather chairman is mad. In Kyung was forgiven but Min Woo suffered the great consequences of his action. The chairman found out that Min Woo is in incharge of slush funds, embezzlement, murder of Hong Soo Ji and responsible for ruining In Kyung's image. Min Woo was put to jail in order to escape Min Woo did a strategy by attacking his co-inmates and he will be sent to the hospital injured and eventually escaped. Min Woo goes to attack Hyung Ok and gets the evidence about the lobbyist fund and embezzlement of Saechang group. Hyung Ok was arrested and his daughter Seo Yeon decides to finish her study in Italy so that she could have a new start. Seung Joon found Min Woo somewhere else as Min Woo kidnaps Seung Joon in the cold winter. Min Woo embraces Seung Joon in a cold winter to warm him as he confesses and apologize to Seung Joon and In Kyung and he eventually died. It was a happy ending for In Kyung and Jung Ho but a tragic ending for Da Eun and Hee Ae. In Kyung produced a lot of films such as the film Snowflakes- a film about the life of In Kyung.

Twisted and Dark

If you're a big fan of the Twisted and Dark Korean dramas like Penthouse, Sky Castle, Mine and World of the Married as you're new to watching jdrama and looking for similar drama then watch RISKY.

This drama is not good for the faint of the heart so don't watch this if you're not used to dark elements like: cheating, morally ambigiuous characters, miscarriage, rape, and so forth. This drama is not for everyone it is made for people who enjoy dark plot.

This drama is about the main character who vows revenge on the people who brought misery of the suffering of her older sister. The main character is so genius at hacking and good at faking her feelings. She is also genius in deceiving people like the ex-boyfriend of her older sister and the woman who had a one night stand the older sister's ex-boyfriend. The elements of revenge is very very strong and filled with plot twists in Episode 1 and 2- I just WOW with the main character for so good at faking at it and her accomplice would make you shock also. In Episode 6, this is the turning point of the story made it look like PENTHOUSE making the dead bring back to life and will make you crazy that will make your mind twisted!! The ending was way too rushed and also lacks explanation how did this dead brought back to life?! And also the story didn't update to the end what happened to that crazy woman and the weak man..

Overall, I love how Japan is sooo good in making makjang stories like this I hope they can make more dramas. Revenge drama is one of the forte of Jdrama. I love how they perfectly execute the elements of revenge and they should make the story more detailed in order to be understood by the viewers.

For the actors:

Yuki Furukawa- I've seen him in Itazura na Kiss play a role in a romcom drama and he played an antihero in Lychee, and it is my first time to see Yuki Furukawa play a role as a cheater like he made my teeth gritted for doing that but he did a good job as expected with the veteran. I can say that Yuki Furukawa is your flexible actor who would do his best in a cute role or a darker role!

Hagiwara Minori - I'm not familiar with her and it's my first time to see her in a drama. She left me an impression that she's not just a cutesy but she knows how to act badass in this drama! I love how she carry out her role as an antihero and it is not an easy role that she portray to show more emotions. It is also rare for an actress in Jdrama to play roles like this. I want to see more main roles for Hagiwara Minori because she's a best actress with flexibility in portraying roles

Kinoshita Rio - I'm also not familiar with her and my first time to see her in a drama. Just like Hagiwara Minori she also did a difficult role in a drama as a woman whom being two timed with, manipulative character, problem child, obssessive character and psychopath. Her execution in this drama as that kind of character was an exellent that it also made me angry with her character but I pity her character because of her flashbacks. I want to see more dramas for Kinoshita Rio.

Miyachika Kaito - I have watched him in Influence alongside with Kanna Hashimoto and etc., He is a rising star but skills of a veteran also. He always plays the role in dark plotted drama but he never disappoint me with acting skills. He played a role in Influence as a bad boy and now he plays the role of a good man who is also a contributor and helper in revenge with the main character. I love how he carry out and he knows how to act to deceive a person in that drama! I want to see more of his dramas!!

Fukagawa Mai - I'm not familiar with her also and it's my first time to see her in this drama. I didn't expect how good she was i this drama even if she is playing a supporting role but her acting skill is superb also. In the first few episodes she knoews how to act sweet and the later episodes she knows how to act like a cold hearted person. I want to see more of her dramas

Overall, I love the actors mentioned above and all of them deserves a main lead role. I hope they could give them chance to this talented actors.

Waste of Time

One of the worst revenge drama that I have ever watched. I have high expectation on this drama from the very start that I have watched the trailer. As I have started the drama, I was really really disappointed on how to story goes on and on. This story lacks the conventional elements of revenge. Actually, the title's name is so catchy but will deceive you for the 100 episodes to make the viewers annoyed and draggy. Most episodes are only 70% fillers and an empty shell. I also doesn't like the cast they choose except for Ha Joon and the veteran actors the parents of the characters they act better than the main leads. Miss Monte Cristo should have been better if they have cut off the episode for 30 episodes only. What's the point of the suspense tag if it's really that predictable? They should have choose Yoon Ah Jung or Seo Woo as Eun Jo and SoYi Hyun as Oh Hara... they chose the too typecasted cast they should have given a chance to other actresses!
The things that I am disappointed with Miss Monte Cristo:
I don't like how they made Sun Hyeok be that cowardice
I don't like how they made Eun Jo dirt her hands by making Se Rin's father die
I don't like how they made Eun Jo weak and getting obstacled by her revenge because of Sun Hyeok and Hoon
I really hated the most when seeing Hwang Ji Na die in the middle episodes! It would have been better Hwang Ji Na didn't have dementia and kept alive to see Ga Heun returning back as Eun Jo and witness how Byung Gook and Eun Hwa was punished by the law
I am really disappointed with the story ends like living you in a cliff hanger where Eun Jo is going to be investigated
The ending would have been proper if Hwang Ji Na is still a live and Eun Jo chose to be single rather than being with Sun Hyeok oppa... how weak :/

Good drama but the ending left me hanging

I'm into makjang dramas especially when the main character is a guy which is quite few in makjangs so I watch this! The casts are totally superb and star studded like I don't see any complaints from them as an actor/actress. When I read the summary of this drama it gives off a makjang vibes such as birth secrets, infidelity, murder, greed, tragic past, death of a child and desires. When I watched this drama it is more of an action drama. Every episodes would make me hook and look after the next episodes that gives me excitement looking forward for it!

The story is superb but the ending really left me hanging! I have high expectation on this drama.
As for me this drama should have been made until episode 13 because I really thought that episode 12 kinda lack something ... it's like this drama is not yet finish. It didn't made me contented of the end like it is 1hr and 26 minutes I expected it to be detailed like after the incident. They should have shown the people like Chairman Seo should be punished and the others... They should have shown updates to the characters what happened to them in Time Jump Ending
E.g: "After 2 years" by showing the updates on characters Seo Young, Yeon Woo, Seo Young's hudband and Baek Soo Hyun

Perfect Drama For Jdrama First Timers

I love this drama! This drama is so worth to binge watch and so thrilling!
Watching this drama from episode 1 till the last episode is so addictive and makes me hook that I cannot afford to miss every scenes in this drama! The story is rendered beautifully. The characters are written perfectly! The visual effects is amazing!

I love how the directors chose their cast from star studded cast: Anna Ishii and Sei Shiraishi alongside with the underrated actress but it turns out to be lit!! All the casts are Eye Candy!! I never get tired watching this drama how good Anna Ishii and Sei Shiraishi in acting in terms of showing emotion especially in crying! The underrated actresses have also prove how good their acting is especially Ito Momoka, Deguchi Natsuki and Ohara Yuno. They deserve to be given main lead roles!

In this drama, you will learn how to value and protect your friendship. Anyone can be strong as long as you believe in yourself just like Koharu. At first, she was weak and unexperienced in a battle field. She have witnessed the pain of losing a friend from a battle and eventually became stronger! I admire the character development of Koharu!

VR film

I stumbled upon through instagram that Lee Elijah is going to be a cast in this film Red Eyes along with Kim Kang Woo. I only watched this film because I'm a bias of Lee Elijah! I miss her very much! So far this is her best performance by this role where she played as a suicide mission but I'm sad because she was killed in the end by being bitten by the red eye and Kim Kang Woo only survived :'( I love it but it makes me sad. I really wish that this movie should be in at least 1hr... I think 15 minutes film is not enough for me but yeah it's okay 15 minutes is okay it is more on fight scene fighting against the red eyes which are the creatures similar to zombies that eats flesh of humans.

I fell in love with Lee Elijah after watching her in Last Empress as the villain and now I'm curious how would she act in a romcom drama so I watched this one!! I love the story and the character of Lee Elijah who has disability but excels in archery! Lee Elijah nailed this role and she looks flawless! I'm craving for more Lee Elijah's drama as a main lead.. I hope more romcom drama for Lee Elijah! I would like to mention other casts that they also nailed their role and their chemistry is good! So yeah recommended

NOT FOR THE HEART FAINTED!

This is my first time to watch Chinese drama - Le Jun Kai. This story is not intended for very young audiences which plot contains the trigger warnings: rape, physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, emotional abuse, secret birth, infidelity, hatred, and graphic violence. I really loved the actors and actresses who played their roles in this drama. I recommend this drama for those people who are matured enough to watch this drama. This drama also happens in real life. It made me understand how heavy the traumatic experience have encountered by women similar to Li Ye. This drama raises awareness that there are women in this world encountered domestic abuse in their homes and have difficulty in raising children.

Le Jun Kai is about a man who married Li Ye -the daughter of his enemy . In order to seek revenge because Li Ye's father has something to do with Jun Kai's wife - Xiao Cai who died alongside with her unborn child. Li Ye have suffered unfathomable consequences during her marriage with Jun Kai. She have witnessed that Jun Kai brought women her room and treated marrriage as nothing to him. She have encountered being raped by Jun Kai and gave birth to his son and she raised Tian Tian alone and have lied to JunKai that Tian Tian wasn't his son but in the end Jun Kai found out that Tian Tian is his real son. Tian Tian's life wasn't easy being raised by his mother alone. Tian Tian have also witnessed how Jun Kai mistreat Li Ye in front of a CHILD!! Jun Kai have also a lot of enemies swarming around him. So his enemy kidnapped Tian Tian in exchange of the company but Jun Kai didn't agree with his enemy and he ended up being killed by his enemy.

In my opinion: The drama is very short however it lacked conventional details enumerated below:
> Why did Li Ye's father killed Jun Kai's wife?
> More detailed flashabck for Jun Kai
> How did Li Ye's father died?
> In the ending of the story, they should have shown what happened to Jun Kai and should have also shown what would have happen to the company that Li Ye's father owned? What would happen to Li Ye and Tian Tian after the passing of Jun Kai?

My first time to watch a daily drama from TvN

I watched this drama because of Seo Woo since then I have watched her in Cinderella's sister and The Housemaid and I have become curious of her dramas as a main lead character so I watched this! For the first until the fifth episodes hooked me a lot however it is too detail to narrate the childhood life of Kang Yi Kyung and Kang Seo Yeon. I have skipped a lot of episodes because it is filled with fillers about toxic people like Seo Yeon, a habitual liar and the step mother Shim Hae Soon who is a manipulative bitch and annoys me a lot that sometimes these two were the reasons I want to drop this drama. Kang Seo Yeon's character development is very low that she have changed her attitude nearing to the end of the story because she wants to have her liver donated by Kang Yi Kyung... like what the f*** she doesn't deserved it! I feel really sorry about the people whom Seo Yeon hurt the most - Yi Kyung... I wonder why Seo Yeon didn't go to jail but she should have gone to jail after all what she did to Yi Kyung, Ha Jun and Ha Jun's mother! She should have been punished to jail or she have died at least in the end. I really hated the plot twist that Seo Yeon is the twin sister of Yi Kyung... it's like Min Seol Ah and Seok Kyung in Penthouse..

My favorite scene is that the stepmother of Kang Yi Kyung have known that her former husband was killed by Kang In Chul... and finds out that Shin Gi Tae was framed and was felt unjust because of In Chul to get what he wants in order to achieve his selfish position as a police.. So far, In Chul have took care his victims but in the end it was really all his fault! Then Shim Hae Soon felt sorry to Kang Yi Kyung for what she have done to her for many years and felt guilty towards her!

So far I love the casts despite they're underrated but they surpassed my standards of their acting skills!
I have seen how Seo Woo improved her acting skills compared to her drama Cinderella's sister.. Seo Woo made me cry and brought me joy watching in this drama! I hope she comes back in drama

It's my first time to encounter Kim Yoon Seo in a drama that she really made me annoyed her rolling eyes and her toxicity. She deserves to play a good main lead role and she's a good actress really!

Park Jin woo is my first time to see in this drama also! I have seen how natural his beauty is and I love his acting skills that I really want to look forward for his dramas but he is so underrated and he deserves such recognition!

Lee Ji Hoon is also my first time to see in this drama and he reminds me of Kim Seung Dae in That Sun in the Sky! I love how he act as an antihero in this drama and how protective he was for Kang Yi Kyung!

So far bittersweet hate and love for this drama that gives me depression and makes me cry because of these characters but I really love the story... I hope TvN would create more daily drama as good as this! I love how powerful the use of element of revenge in this drama... it's really rare to see a daily drama with addictive revenge stories like this!

Glass Mask would have been better if the narration during the child hood of Yi Kyung and Seo Yeon would have appeared in the flashbacks instead of appearing in the first episodes and also they should have shorten it with only 20 episodes when most of the episodes are 75% fillers and unnecessary
