I started out watching Korean dramas on Netflix and have since added Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese dramas. I'm working my way through recommendations that I've found on other blogs and sites, so I'm sure I'll branch out more before I'm done.

I've been an avid book reader for most of my life, and when I found the dramas, what I liked best about them was their similarities to books. They're a limited length, and, for the most part, have a story arc that is finished by the end. Not sure if that explanation makes sense to anyone but me, but I've gotten tired of shows that drag on the plot just to keep the viewers watching season after season. I need resolution, and these give it to me.

You can find me at Kchat Jjigae, where I co-host the Kchat Jjigae Podcast with Stephanie and do other, techy-type stuff behind the scenes. And also over on Tumblr at — where I mostly reblog Kdrama and Kpop stuff that interests me and write commentaries in the tags. Feel free to visit!
