This drama was.... A bit disappointing

I am a person who likes funny or action kind of dramas, and this was just not it. Overall there was almost zero humor and the action was also on a low level. I did complete watching it, but that was a long time ago.

The plot sounds interesting at first and it really intrigues you, but once you start watching it just isn't as interesting. Their love story was quite vague and the plot very neutral. I have watched a few dramas before this one and I can still remember much about those, but not this one.

The role of the god Habaek was not really one for Nam Joohyuk, I think we can all agree that he is handsome and very talented but I guess this just wasn't his piece of cake (if that sounds logical). A lot of people have hated on this drama and I can see why. In comparison to some other 2017 Kdrama's, this was a bit of a disappointment. Shin Sekyung got criticized a lot, she's a great actress but since this was my first time seeing her acting I was not interested in her other works.

The OST's, on the other hand, were definitely my peace of cake, I fell in love with Glass bridge (Savina&drones) and without you (Lucia). Sometimes I still listen to those songs when I need to sleep or when I'm making homework.

I wouldn't recommend this drama, it might be your forte I wouldn't know, but it wasn't my thing and I definitely won't watch it again.

This is actually the first K-drama that I watched. My sister introduced me to this world and suggested for me to watch Monstar, but I must have forgotten. I can't remember how I found this one, but I loved it.

The plot kind of took me by surprise as the connection between the two sisters wasn't exactly clear to me, but that could have been just me. That did not ruin it for me though. The story overall is good and easy to enjoy, but it does spark up some questions. Such as, what happened to Eun Byeol after she disappeared? I would have liked it if they gave a bit of insight in what she was doing in the meantime.

The acting, since this was my first K-drama I didn't have much to compare the acting to but to me it was great. Nam Joohyuk is one of my favorites right now and this drama may have played a part in that. I didn't expect Kim Soohyun to be so young! I loved her acting although she has improved a lot and I still follow her from time to time to see what she's up to. Sungjae also did a great job and I had a huge second lead syndrome after this drama, I was hoping she would choose for his character as she had much more chemistry with him in my opinion.

The OST's, Younha's pray still has a steady position in one of my Spotify playlists and reset by Tiger JK and Jinsil also occupied a spot for a long time. Overall the use of music was great and helped a lot with bringing across the emotions.

The rewatch value is as low as it is because I liked the drama, but the second lead syndrome was a bit too much and the story wasn't really my thing. Overall really great and I do recommend it!
