I agree with the other reviewer that TH’s demise was unsatisfactory. I felt that for the amount of pain she inflicted on SJ, MY and others, she could have suffered more…but perhaps that’s just the demonic side of me thinking this…cuz, you know, my hatred for her character also pushed me over the edge, like SJ… lol

This episode is so hilarious! I loved it! The birthday cake scene was the funniest ever. Poor Su Zheng…?. I loved how the people in the background of the birthday cake scene also couldn’t contain their laughter.

Here I go again…

I watched this series for the first time, about a year or year and half ago. I came back to this episode after watching the Last Immortal and realizing it’s the continuation of Ancient Love Poetry. This episode breaks my heart and it was done so well… the cast bringing out so much emotion from me (hate: Wu Huan, exasperation: Mu Guang, pain/love/heartache/tears: Hou Chi, Bai Jue, Gu Jun, Jing Yuan), the storyline, the music, … Even though I was thoroughly tortured and exhausted watching this episode, I also thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’m probably one of the few who doesn’t know what will happen next because I haven’t read the novel/story before. I have bad vibes with Bing Chang…need to always watch out for the quiet ones… I’m hurting already for Tantai Jin. I feel like he’s starting to experience the joy and wonder of love…in preparation for a big fall…. I hope I’m wrong….

Hilarious

Though this episode was slow in parts, the ending was well worth it. This episode had a good mix of hilarity, romance, and poignant moments. I just couldn't stop laughing near the end...my stomach hurt. It was just not what I was expecting and was just outright pure silliness. I guess it's just my kind of humor...lol.

So cute how the mom and aunties are helping Lu Fan Ning get pregnant. Cai Si Yu's attraction to Lu Yi Yao builds as he notices her hard work and saves her from a safety mishap. Hopefully Lu Yi Yao begins to develop feelings for Cai Si Yu!

It's nice to see the main leads start…

It's nice to see the main leads start to open up with each other. It's also cute having the 2nd leads begin noticing each other and working through all the awkwardness.

Things heat up

So hilarious how Ling Rui acts like a physician after getting drunk! The tension is palpable as Ling Rui begins to feel jealous of Lu Fan Ning's attention towards Simon.

Love the different reactions the leads get when they tell their family about their marriage plans. The dad's reaction is so cute and the aunties are hilarious.
