Really good at showing both sides of each charcter

The series is really good and each episode keeps getting better. I love how the actors brought the characters to life. Every emotion is perfectly laid out in every episode, but this one right here takes the cake. Reb is a hopeless romantic and optimist that appears to have unrequited feelings for JM and for the most part he can be seen as the victim in this situation. That all changes here. You start to see how toxic these seemingly innocent traits can be and notices the clues the previous episodes hinted at. Because he lives in his own fantasy world with his ideas of love he completely ignores everything else and forces his feelings on JM. At this point, we and Reb know that JM isn't cold-hearted but damage. He comforted Reb when he needed it, apologies for leading him when he didn't mean to, and made it clear he wasn't ready for a relationship and just wanted to be friends. Despite this Reb gets mad at him for not living up to the fantasy he created and ignores him. Reb even goes so far as to violate JM privacy, and JM calls him out on all of this when a fight breaks out. I love how this episode points out the critical flaw in Reb's character and shows how bad this unrealistic expectation can be. This combines with showing how someone who comes off as emotionally unavailable can be the victim.
