In this modern times, for the audience to still watch a historical drama like this one is already something, how much more if the audience would appreciate and love the drama. Does it make sense? For me, it is expected that historical dramas will really give you a different taste...something interesting and fascinating...more so, educational. I would say that these 3 are present in The Moon that Embraces the Sun but what more attracts the audience, I would say, is because it has sense of humor at the same time a love story...can you imagine that? A drama that is educational, romantic and with humor. What more can you ask for? Really...this one you shouldn't miss. Two thumbs up for the casts and everyone involved in making this drama.

This drama is a total surprise. I like the actress, without a doubt, because she's one of my favorite and she never fail me with her acting skills. At first, I'm a bit hesitant to watch it because I don't necessarily find the actor cute and I wonder if he and Yoon Eun Hye will make a good tandem and surprisingly they did. I even find the actor cute and adorable. I really enjoyed the movie in the sense that although its a typical romantic comedy type of drama but it was a sort of breathe of fresh air at the same time. If you'll ask me if its worth the time..I would definitely say a big YES.

I just finished watching this drama in KBS. I have mixed emotion really. I agree with the other review (Jeaniessi) on this one. The 1st part of the story is really good. I was actually getting into it already but somehow at the end part it felt flat. I don't know. Also, the leading actors (Jang Geun Suk & Yoon-a) just don't have that 100% chemistry that I'm really expecting. As an audience, they haven't moved me the way I wanted to be moved (if you know what I mean). I just want to feel the emotions just wanted to really feel like I was the character but I didn't get there. I love Jang Geun Suk in "He's Beautiful" much, much better compared to this one, I would say.

I just wished the end part was written with more substance or whatever.

Won Bin has been out both in big and small screen lately but is back with a vengeance in this movie. He still impressed me. From "Autumn in my Heart" to this film..totally different character but were both perfectly portrayed. Hands down. On the other hand, I gave a 10 to the story because it's different & story is original compared to the other movies I've seen so far..korean movies per se..For me, it's a love story with a different meaning (if you know what I mean or perhaps I'm the only one who understand that :D). As far as I can remember, this is the very first kdrama that I've watched and obviously the very reason why I started loving kdramas. I love the actors..Won Bin just took my breath away. Until now, every time I feel like crying, I still take time to watch this drama. The story is pretty common but how it was written to make televiewers love it, is a mystery. The actors will captivate the hearts of the viewers because you can feel their pain & all. I don't know with the others but I am really in love with this drama. I was pretty excited and anxious to watch this movie. I'm not sure what it was that made me disappointed about it..maybe because I have expected too much about this movie and it didn't reach my expectation. I mean, when I've read the reviews and how popular it was all over it was..I really have a high expectation. Maybe you'll ask me what have I expected though? Well, I thought that it be as good, if not much better, than the drama "Secret Garden". I know, I know. Secret Garden is a drama and this is a movie, what I mean is the level of acting..the story..and all. Coffee Prince..well..I learned to love the name Arthur because of this drama. In the Philippines, Choi Han Kyu is named as Arthur. The story is very unique. Go Eun Chan is not any man's typical girl and on the other hand, Choi Han Kyu is every woman's dream..but Han Kyu fell in love with Eun Chan. I can't express how much I love every bit of this movie..so refreshing. It's like a breathe of fresh air. I'm not really into crying but when Eun Chan left Han Kyu I can't stop my tears. They are a perfect match. The ending is superb. A drama that you won't forget until you hair turns into gray..this is it.

Finally! A'right. The drama is the typical kdrama..rich boy meets poor girl and they live happily ever after. But this one is a lot funnier than all kdramas that I've watched..What I really liked about this drama is that you'll enjoy it more because it's really funny, a comedy drama per se and rather than a love story. The artists have a believable sense of humor specially the father of Cha Chi Soo, I would say. There are 2 things though that I don't like much. 1- The ending is too short and fast. Up to Episode 14 it still made sense, but Ep 15 & 16..it was like, it just came out of the blue..or out of nowhere..The flow of the story is not that smooth. 2- I'm more of Choi Kang Hyuk & Yang Eun Bi to be together in the end than Cha Chi Soo. Enjoy watching.

Ok..so it's Jang Geun Suk so we watched it..and then..**sigh**..Just imagine it took me weeks everytime I watch 1 episode and that's when I'm too bored I don't have something to watch. You can't imagine my frustration ..as you see..I'm only 2 episodes away and still didn't finish watching the drama. So what's the main problem? It's the story itself..the plot..c'mon! I kinda don't understand it, every episode is like the same old story..nothing that will make you excited. The actors were ok in terms of acting but Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young just don't have that chemistry that I'm looking for and that just added to my frustration.

You may think that 30 episodes is just too much but how the drama was written is actually great. You just don't know what you'll gonna get next. I'm not exaggerating when I say like how people commented on a Sidney Sheldon book--"if you want a book that you can put down, go to Sidney". I can fairly say if you want a kdrama which you can't stop watching and will always be anticipating on what will happen next..go watch "Baker King". The actors deserve a trophies for sure. One thing that I don't like much about this drama is the love story inserted to it..though this drama does not focus on that but it kinda confused me. The ending and the twist of the story is definitely the best. 100% highly recommended but I strongly suggest you watch it with a tissue with you..a lot of tissue. :D

Ok..let me start by saying I have watched this kdrama for the nth time and still it makes me shiver/tremble every time I watch it. It will make you laugh, cry and fall in love over and over again. This drama just made me head-over-heels in love with Lee Min Ho. Go Jun Pyo and Gong Jan Di were just perfect for each other. The places that they've been to..argh...especially New Caledonia..pure beauty. The fireworks set by JunPyo for JanDi..the kissing scenes..were just all romantic. I can't even say which part or episode I loved the most because I love all of it and every bit of it. And don't mention the music/songs..I have it all in my mp3. To summarize it all..I'm not being exaggerated or what not, but for me, you missed half of your life if you haven't seen this kdrama yet. Better watch it to believe it.

The drama "You're Beautiful" lives by it title. It is indeed beautiful. This is the first movie of Jang Geun Suk that I watched and I liked it. It's more of a drama for high schoolers but it will make anyone smile..well..laugh is the more appropriate word. Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk) and Mi Nam (Park Shin Hye) were just a perfect match. Their small fights were just funny..very funny in fact. The other actors like Lee Hong Ki as Kang On Yu / Jeremy is adorable and for Jung Yong Hwa as Kang Shin Woo..I pity him..wishing there is another Mi Nam so everybody will be happy. The twist at the end part is fairly convincing. I like the "love revelation" part also but what I loved the most is the episode where the 3 men fight over Mi Nam. :D
