(This is the first time ever writing a public review, so if some of the things i write are low key spoilers, then i apologise, i in no way want to spoil anything or ruin the show for the readers who are thinking of watching the show, i am just trying to write about my thoughts without giving anything away, which is quite difficult.) The story of this show intrigued me, i love the whole 'Detective sees ghosts\ helps them solve their murders', it's what made me want to watch this show, the mystery the creators gave truly was there, and i wish they continued that, i wish the show was based on that story line, like the show Cold Case x the ghostly twist, it would have been amazing, however it did not go that way. The main protagonist Detective Shi On (Played by So Yi hyun) ruined the show for me. Her over exaggerated expressions through out the show really put me off, For example - even after many episodes she would still be so surprised to see a ghost, as if she had never seen one before, and that really was displeasing to me, because the expressions she made in certain situations ruined the 'moment' in a way, if over-exaggerated expressions is your thing, by all means, i recommend this show. If not, it'll probably stress you out as much as it did for me. This is merely a personal preference - but I wish she was a stronger person, both physically and emotionally, she was a very weak woman for a police officer and it made everything seem - for a lack of a better word - messy. I wish the relationship between Shi On and Hyung Joon (Played by Kim Jae Wook) had their own show, the relationship between the two was so freaking adorable, i wish that couple had their own cute show where it has a happy ending and everything is adorable af. I truly only stayed to watch the flashbacks of the two. Hyung joon's present character was very important yet very unnecessary, i understand why his character was important in the development of the story, however at the same time, in many scenes his presents was unnecessary, which really ruined some scenes. I could write 100 paragraphs on how so many "coincidences" happened, from coincidental phone calls to coincidental characters entering scenes at the "right time", it was truly cringe-worthy. Nothing was smooth and casual, everything was just sudden and coincidental. The ending of the show was the icing on the cake, i wish i could write about what a catastrophe it was but i cannot write spoilers, and that's what i would be doing. All i can say is - it was unnecessary. (I'm not trying to bash the actors, or the creators of the show, it's just the show had the potential to be something really great and it went in a different direction in my eyes. I hope no one becomes angry at my words, this was just my experience, if you enjoy/enjoyed this show, i am truly happy for you.)
