Stop this was so cute!
This was an adorable, bite-size drama.Story: This was a fun watch. Cool concept and overall entertaining. I did want more from this, I felt like it ended right when it got good. I wish we had an epilogue episode or something.
Acting/Casting: Perfect. I loved everyone! They all played their parts well and I could really feel the chemistry between the main characters!
Music/Visual: This part was well executed. I loved the special effects in each episode. They were such a nice touch!
Re-watch value: I can definitely see myself coming back to watch this one day!

Worth watching...
It's worth watching to see Tee get some kind of happy ending.Unfortunately I found Ice's actor awkward to watch throughout the NC scenes. I also didn't really feel chemistry between the actors.
I wanted a happy ending for Tee, I just wish I had seen more healing and moving on and less rebounding with the closest person nearby.
I do give points to Ice's character for not giving up his dream though. That was nice to see. Don't throw away for future for anyone, and especially not to be your boss's rebound.

Story: It was really kind of boring. Some things just didn't connect or make sense and I'm not sure if it was the translation or the show itself. I found parts engaging and interesting, but overall I wanted more from this show.Acting/Casting: Despite the plot lacking the acting and casting were fine. The actor's talent is probably what saved this for me. The only thing I didn't like was the kiss. Some BL shows do a barely touching kiss on the lips, this was one of those shows.
Music: Suitable and enjoyable for the scenes.
Rewatch value: It's worth checking out once since it's so short, but I don't feel I will come back to rewatch it.

My heart and soul? Sure I guess I don't need them!
This series ground my whole heart and soul into dust. I was in perfect agony the entire time, sobbing my life away. I imagine this is what going through a meat grinder or wood chipper would feel like.The acting was amazing. TOO GOOD. I cannot even bring myself to start the next season just because I don't know if I hand handle it! The angst served. I'm in shambles. Believe it or not this is a positive review.
If you want to be in shambles and feel all your feelings you've ever suppressed, please proceed.

I enjoyed this!
I liked this more than I thought I would based on the premise. I will say without Kyoya, or an actor as expressive as he is, I would've rated it lower. I am very partial to Kyoya and will watch anything with him in it because of how expressive he is. The female lead was also good. I felt her pain and frustration. The husband was very stoic and I wish he wasn't so passive all the time.The Christmas scene broke my whole heart. I just wanted to fly to Japan and hug Kyoya even though I know he wasn't actually heartbroken irl. My jaw hit the floor though. I was so shocked!
The ending was bittersweet and I hope we can get more of this story. I really wanted an ending with the three of them together because I felt like the female lead was coming around and accepting her true feelings, however it seemed to go a little haywire in the end.
Overall a good and engaging experience!

I really wanted to like this. It started out so good. The acting overall was good, plot, special effects. It was good. But by episode 4 I was just so bored.I had to push myself through episode 4 and couldn't imagine how I had 4 episodes left. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two love interests. I was more interested in the ghost family than anything else.
The show is popular with great ratings. It's a unique concept. I hope one day I can come back to it with renewed interest, but as of right now I'm dropping it to move on.

I loved this!
I thought this BL was so cute! It was a bite sized drama with a lot of action within. The plot was consistently interesting and kept me so engaged that I finished it in one sitting!The miscommunication trope is probably frustrating to people because it's the most realistic, but I enjoyed it, as well as the jealousy throughout.
I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. Their cases were also really fun to follow. I never knew the subject's true colors!
I am sure I will come back to rewatch!

and 5 + 5 is 10... then wtf is this?I stg. I'm normally in the minority of badly rated shows, I end up loving them, but my time has come to join the hate parade.
This gets a 1 star only bc of Long and Frank. JUSTICE FOR THESE MEN BC WTF WAS THIS SERIES?
The biggest sin of this show was that horrendous dubbing. I don't mind dubbing. I've watched plenty of dubbed shows, but this was TRASHOLA. The hmm, uhhhh, and hehehe's were so funny and not in a good way. Jail for whoever was responsible for this decision and editing. Jail.
By episode 3 I watched this muted so I could judge the show itself objectively without the horrendous dubbing tempting me to drop this show.
Unfortunately for me, the show still sucked. When we got to the big plot twist I was DYING laughing because it was so STUPID.
Also, where exactly was the romance????
If the show hadn't been dubbed its maybe a 3/10. With the dubbing it's a 1/10. Give these actors something better.
I'm so glad there are people who liked this though. At least this show wasn't a total waste.

I'm confused by the negative review bombs this show got, I mean not everything is for everyone so that's fair. I understand some people are really triggered by cheating, but I personally love messy and drama filled shows.To enjoy a show doesn't mean you support the actions within. Do we not enjoy horror movies, action/thriller movies with violence? It doesn't mean we encourage the behavior, we are simply just entertained by dramatic and engaging plots.
Truthfully no one in this show is innocent of wrongdoing. Whether it be lying, cheating, or just morally grey. I think people forget D was not committed to Tee or Nine (until the very end). Sure what he did was hurtful to Tee, but he was honest about his feelings where he struggled to get over Tee hurting him & starting over. He did shut Nine down constantly and expressed trying things again with Tee. It was messy, but the D hate I don't get! He was completely oblivious half the time to what drama was taking place around him.
Also hot take on Nine's ex P. Mental health issues are not a pass to treat people however you want. I hated her character. I was glad to see her healing in the end, but gosh it was a journey to even like her for 5 seconds. As someone with a mental illness, I could not excuse her behavior. She especially was abusive towards her best friend. Candy was shady, but with good intentions. Being in the middle of your 2 best friends is difficult and she struggled!
My only real complaint is the music sometimes was pretty weird for the scenes (especially the spicy scenes).
Anyway, I think if you like a lot of drama this show is worth a shot. I didn't find it boring, slow, or awful so maybe you won't either. Maybe you will. Who knows until you roll the dice!

This show is definitely fluffy and not meant to be so serious. It's intentionally cheesy nature is a trope I also love, so if it's not your thing you may not enjoy it. I agree with others that it was a little slow, but it still kept me engaged and I had a positive experience and would definitely rewatch it.Every couple (especially the main) sold TFFFFFF out of those NC scenes! It took me so off guard since this was such a fun and silly show. 🤣 but I loved it. 🔥 It was also more realistic, like no "sexy" room or sheets, just your ordinary cat print bedding. 😂🫶🏼

This was a heart breaking masterpiece. I wish the finale was different, but I am still giving it a 10/10 because it was such a painful, beautiful, all encompassing experience.
Each character is so well written and well acted. A fully fleshed out and resolved plot. Sea and Jimmy absolutely slayed the house down. Aon stole my heart. This was truly one of those shows that feel so real while you're in it and never want it to end.
Bravo!

Short and sweet!
I loved this show through and through. The tsundere character trope is my favorite. Toki is such a green flag. The show really used these two to highlight a healthy line of communication and trust rather than the theatrics of jealousy.My only complaints are:
-Sahara's former love interest got too much screen time.
-In the novel they are 16 & 24 and it appears they aged Toki up to 17/18, but then in the last episode they did a flash back with a little kid and Sahara to give us the we've met before, fate kind of trope. That really threw off the age gap and made it make zero sense. How would Toki go from that to a high school senior in a few years? 💀
-The rain confession flashback was shown too much.
Overall, if you're looking for a cute and short JBL and you're not up in arms about an age gap, I highly recommend this one!

This show is so perfect!
While I'm on the side of this not being a BL (because no romance happened, no one specified their sexuality in the first place) I think this was such a beautiful, heartbreaking, & heartwarming show with bits of humor throughout. The MC did love the angel, but it never came across more than platonic. It was almost like a protector or brotherly love, especially considering the MC is in his 30s and the angel was a school boy. But I digress. This show was the easiest 10 I've ever given.Learning the angel's story, him finally being loved by someone, and our MC learning to overcome hardship and love himself. 10000/10.

This has to be my favorite BL!
Its such a close, almost tie between My Beautiful Man & Minato's Laundromat because they're so close to my heart, but I think this one takes the #1 spot.I binge watched this show. Then S2 came out and I binge watched S1 & S2. Now the movie is out and I'm binge watching all 3. This is such a comfort show for me. I have no idea what they laced this show with, but it's AMAZING!
They pack so much into 20 minutes I'm convinced the time stamp is lying to me. I've never experienced such a successful story telling. Bravo to everyone involved in this show. It's truly one of a kind!

Only Emotional Damage
Every Saturday I was parked with my phone ready to inhale this show, episode by episode. Each week I laughed, smiled, and definitely screamed into my pillow.But the last 2 episodes did me in and stripped this show from a 10 to a 9. Which isn't a big drop, but despite how upset episode 12, ESPECIALLY, made me, I can't rate it any lower. I might hate the ending, but overall I still loved this show. Each week it provided me so much anticipation and excitement.
I loved this messy show and all of it's messy characters... except you Boeing. Never you Boeing. Boeing was the downfall of the show for me. His entrance felt like unnecessary drama for couples who had already been THROUGH it and come out of the other side. By the time he came in and stirred up all the same drama we just recovered from it was like beating a dead horse.
Me thinking this series would end any different than it started: 🤡
In my delulu episode 12 would've looked like:
-Everyone gets their shit together
-Everyone makes up and is friends again
-Every couple is together and gets a HEA
I don't care how unrealistic that is! It's just what I wanted! Argue with the wall! 😂😂😂
The actors were INCREDIBLE. I couldn't have imagined a better cast. Khao did amazing on the OST also.
Here on MDL, I thoroughly enjoyed commenting each week with the viewers. This was such a fun little community to be apart of these last couple of months. Whether we shared the same opinions or not it was always a blast for me. The comments especially helped me process my experience with this last episode. 😂
I'm officially closing this book and going to touch some grass because my chest still hurts several hours later. 😂
