Grand Madam Xu is truly hateful in this episode along with Amber! My blood is boiling with the duo snakes concubine Qin and Amber breaking up the cute romance of General Fu and Dong Qing. I can't stand this arc, hope this gets fixed in the next episode.

I have only watched Didi in MG, he was adorable back then and he fit Daoming Si's role perfectly. His next projects had low ratings so I skipped them. I must say, I didn't expect his acting to have this depth now, especially in this episode. I'm really impressed our Didi has grown up as an actor.

Wu Lei and Lu Si awesome acting, my heart aches during LBY and CSS seeing each other again. Again, I feel a bit sad for Yuan Shen, his heartache starts...I'm a softie for SMLs.

Super intense episode, the height of LBY revenge and the revelation we've been waiting for. Three men vs 2 dozen or so men a bit over the top but that's the dramatic artistry here. Wu Lei's acting was phenomenal.

This episode showcases Wu Lei's acting depth which Lu Si can match. Emotional episode overall. LBY promises revenge and still hides part of himself from CSS so dreading the angst in the coming episodes.

Lu Si not afraid to cry, our girl was very good in her emotional scenes. Wu Lei fight scenes were well done. This was a heavy episode but grandma Cheng adds comedic relief along with LBY feathered sleeves..."It's mandarin duck, not chicken!", clever.

The emperor was so funny in this episode..."ahhh this thump thump" (hope the translation was right)...and the "chicken wings" it did look tacky flapping about during LBY departure, CSS dad was right :)

Oh my here goes LBY on the rampage again, he's going to level the house until he finds CSS. Yuan Shen is funny around CSS, can't help but feel bad just a tad for the guy.

Yikes!!! Another evil doer put in their place but LBY vendetta is so scary...just a reminder that this is still a historical drama with serious palace intrigues.

Ep34 So Satisfying

This episode was so so satisfying, first there was a kiss and then the Emperor, Empress, Imperial Consort team up to put the evil guys in their place, sent far far away, hopefully for good or at least a long while for the remainder of this drama.

LBY and CSS starting to get to know each other. LBY uses his power and influence to tamp down anyone who maligns CSS but she does not see his affection behind this, for her it is just him asserting power. It's good that CSS tells him off in one scene he tries to control her habits. An important build up for character development in the future for both of them. WL and ZLS did well. Also, old Prince Ruyang was cool in this episode.
